Today I am presenting a sweet and beautiful Mixed Media card from a daughter to her Mother! I used lots of dies with lots of flowers, textures, chippies, embossing, splatters, mould embellishments and a silhouette image!

I had a lot of fun creating this layout....... lol!!

The bird and butterfly created with clay and mould and highlighted with old Inka gold. Added lots of paper frills and a tiny piece of heart lace in golden.

Stamped some leaves applied distress inks to them. Added a vintage button highlighted with old Inka gold. There is a stamped bow in the left-hand corner. Added acrylic color to them with some splatters here and there.

 I made my own handmade rose flowers to match with backing paper, distressed the edges of flowers and heat embossed in gold sparkle. The scribble chippie, mini roses and paper clips too heat embossed in gold sparkle. And combined them with a lot of mulberry flowers.

I left a lot of blank space to write the message! And try to keep the design matched with outside look.

Hello friends!

Couldn't resist making one more creation using Embossing Texture Paste!

This time I made a fintastic theme card!

I started with stamping some critters and colored them with Zig markers, added some white dots to a starfish and octopus, fussy cut them. For more fun and interest added googly eyes to octopus and glossy accents to crab eyes. Doe cut a textured white panel using a double stitch rectangle die.

 Die cut two tags and applied embossing texture paste through Bubble stencil and keep one of the tags in the centre as a mask.

Removed the mask and heat embossed the paste and tiny bubbles appeared and they look like real sponged bubbles! Amazing!!!!

Now on the other tag, I blended some distress ink and added some water droplets. Stamped some of the sea elements. Tied a jute twine and adhered the tag using pop dots to that embossed panel, Created the whole scene! Matted it on a navy blue sheet and then placed it on a textured card base.

I think it turned out so fun with the dimensions and textures. I hope you like it!!!

Embossing Texture paste project in mixed media style!

Happy Monday!

I had fun playing with my new toys Colored Embossing Textured Paste today! I am preserving and giving each technique a try. I might just like getting messy!! Lol

I used my Peacock doily stencil with two colors of embossing texture paste on a piece of heavy white sheet measured 10"x10" and covered the whole sheet using a palette knife. You can let it be dry in their usual colors but here I quickly heat embossed before drying for the texture results!

Below are the procedure and pics.

Oh my my, beyond imagination, it pops like popcorn after heating, changed the colors to soften side. So magical, dreamy and while touching by hand you will feel it very soft. It looks really cool in real life!



On all outer sides of the stencilled doily, I applied two steps crackle medium and highlighted the crackles with plum chalk paint and lightly covered it with silver pigment ink too and wiped off the extra with a paper towel.

Die cut some flower from blue Foamiran and added pollen to it. The sentiment is heat embossed with bright opaque white EP on a snippet of black strip and fussy cut it. Die cut a leave and added loose watercolor with Zig.

Now arranged the whole composition using a resin frame with pearls and all other embellishments. I applied some texture paste on all sides, heat and some other embellishments too,  heat embossed them. Placed the panel on a black cardboard. Added a chippie sentiment to finished it off.

Card for a boy!

Hello to all!

Happy Thursday!

Making boys or man cards are always difficult for me but I am glad at last I got success! Lol

So Today I am showcasing a card for a plane lover who loves to travel always! I know, I know it is in red because he loves red!

I started by stamping the aeroplane image and fussy cut it. Stamped the rows of numbers on a white strip using pigment ink and quickly heat embossed it with clear EP for shine.

I paired the aeroplane image with the cute trail. Those cute sentiments labels are just perfect for a design describing some kind of movement, right!

I die cut my red card base using s running stitched rectangle and dry embossed the panel using a stencil, so fun! Die cut a double stitched circle one out of red CS and one from plaids. Placed all the elements as shown in the pic. That Little Man sentiment is from the same set.

I couldn't resist making more cards for Mother's Day! Will continue that series.........! Lol

I am inspired by this color palette and pretty flowers form Calling All Sistahs!
And luckily able to combine with Butterfly challenge too!
I picked up hot pink, hunters green and pinch of harvest gold color with heat embossing and a butterfly from the spin!

The flower image is stamped in Jet black ink and quickly heat embossed with clear EP. I inked up my pretty flowers using Zig markers- Pink, red, marigold, dark green and light green and fussy cut it carefully. Colored the edges using a black calligraphy pen.

I  tried to create a fusion here. Dry embossed the background using my doily die keeping it neutral in color. I dry embossed a strip of green color PP too using the same doily but this time I distressed the raised area using a scrubber, love the end result with all textures.

On a white strip stamped the sentiment. Die cut a leafy flourish too. And arranged all the elements using a big doily in the centre.

Added a cute tiny charm with a sentiment made with love tied in a double shade twine! Rub some silver Inka gold on the charm to highlight the sentiment more.

Finished it off with few sequins, a cute flutterby in hot pink and a dewdrop.
