You make me smile

Hello to all!
Welcome back!

I'll share my smile with you and Hope that your Tuesday will be filled with just a little something to make you happy!

I achieved the gorgeous result using the newest Lace dies which is so versatile and delicate, combining with Peonies!
Ready to color Peonies critter sheet having such beautiful blooms, it's fun to watercolor them, which I have used in the card below.

Firstly on a white panel, I randomly watercolored the stripes. Die cut the crochet lace with its shadow die out of a white sheet. Watercolored one of the Peony image using ZIG!
Added a sentiment make me smile with bold You Chiplet in black. Finished it off with some clear droplets and Pearl dots.

Happy Crafting

You color my world!

Hello everyone!

Oh my gosh-  how cute is this little chameleon!
Now that I am finally getting to grip with how to color him. Its dawned on me that he can be any color combo I like. Maybe greens next time :)D

First  I used the stencil to create a Splash background pattern in rainbow colors using DI.
I colored up the adorable chameleon image using Chameleon Pens and fussy cut it.

What do you think of those googly eyes on the chameleon with glossy accents? I couldn't resist!!!

Then I stamped a color Palette holder and a coloring brush, colored them and fussy cut them. I added glossy accents for the dimension to the coloring brush.
Then die cut a polaroid frame. Behind this frame, I added a clear acetate sheet and foam adhesive to form the shaker and adhered it to my stencilled panel.

I love the sentiment You color my world, so perfect for this colorful card.
Then My cute little guy popped up on this polaroid frame holding a coloring brush with purple color sand around him to spread more color from the shaker. Thankful to nature! How fun!
It is definitely one of my favorite stamp set and I have a feeling this little cute guy is going to be used A LOT!

Faux Stained glass Flower Power!

Hello everyone!
Happy Sunday!

Today I am sharing a CAS card with Faux Stained Glass technique!

.

I used my Zig brush markers to color these blossoms, they are a perfect medium to color them.

Firstly I started off by die cutting my Vespertine Blossoms from a heavy white cardstock 4 times to make a good stack. These were layered up with liquid glue. Once again from a white card panel, I remained the die cut inlay in a white card panel.  I used the negative parts to color my blossoms.

Then I decided to color the leaves of the top layer stacked too with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush pen combining with Zigs! Stamped the sentiment using Zig again with a cute flutterby. Added a touch of shimmer again to create the shimmery background for more glam look!

And added that die cut blossom to the white panel which fit in just like a puzzle piece.

I finished it by adding Dimensional magic for the stained glass effect in each section of the blossom and let it dry properly overnight.
I really enjoyed this beautiful technique!

Happy Weekend!

Supply List
Cardstock: White CS 300 gsm
Die: Vespertine Blossoms from Memory Box
Stamp: Thought for the day from Inkadinkado
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Dimensional Magic: Mod Podge

And created a cute birthday card welcoming Spring season, which is my favorite!

Pop up Shadow Box card!

Hello to all friends!
Happy Wednesday!

I thought it would be fun to have the viewpoint on my card as if you are looking inside through the window into my spring garden with Hummingbirds. I already know which friend will receive this special card with all my love!
It is dimensional yet fold flat to go in an envelope and easy to make too.
My box card is inspired by a very Talented Jennifer Mcguire!

This card measures 6" by 6and1/2", so when flattened it measures 4and1/2" by 5and1/2". And scored both the pieces 1/2" and 1" on the long sided to form the shadow box.
I used the dual stitched circle dies to cut the aperture and frame.

Here's what I worked on first. I stamped the flower image on a white piece of paper using my Misti for the crisp image. Colored it with my Zig pen brushes. Now stamped the hummingbird images, colored them and fussy cut out all those images. Love the rainbow colors on my Hummingbirds! Outlined all the images using my artist black pen.

Added wink of clear glitter Stella pen to Hummingbirds.

Some stencilling has done to create more interest on my front panel.

Now created the whole scene adding my hummingbirds on acetate at inside flap and it is movable!

A closer view:

Then I worked on the back of the box card, adding some circle frames, a sentiment and some stamping.

A small video, hummingbirds in action!
I am so pleased how pretty it turned out!
