Fun In The Sun

Hi there!
          From past few months, I saved Miss Katecutables--Riding the Waves coloured Freebie, I could not decide how to create the scene but here finally I took advantage of the sun, surf  board and a sentiment (I convert the image totally into pink) as you can see below in the photo. This is a birthday card where the surfer is enjoying the sun and is freely riding the waves.

        I have combined this freebie with LITTLE SURFER from Crissy's digi for Whimsy Stamps. This little surfer is so adorable! I just love him! I coloured him with my favourite promarkers and cut him out.

 

 
       Then I took a decision to make centre step card. My base is maroon colour CS. I once again printed out a colour version digital sheet to match with this surfer image which went perfectly well. I found that polka dot paper in one of my Animal Crackers 6'x6" paper Pad. And turquoise golden swirl DP is from my stash.



  I heat embossed the water and waves using Wow nice ice blue; surf board and flowers using Magenta Twinkle;the sun,sentiment and sea grass using Silver bells embossing powder to give a bit of extra shine and depth.
 
     There is a Happy Birthday tag too which I made using Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels 4 and to which I attached an eyelet and tied a knot using twine. I added a cotton cool pink baker twine to a surf board and tied a bow and the polka dot ribbon which is from A1 craft supply store. I finished off my card using some pearls, rhinestone, a pastel pink brad, white lace and  another bow.
  I love how it turned out!

White on White

Hello Friends!
      The weather is cool in Delhi and I am enjoying this spring season sitting in my balcony, watching birds, cloudy sky and Ah! some fresh air. And you know it's raining in the month of April, I just love it!
    Now back to the job, This week I am showcasing my First WHITE On WHITE creation. For my card, I started with a 8"x8" base white ivory CS and added a beautiful white embossed DP from my stash. I purchased this beautiful sheet from Paper craft Exhibition. I added a Spellbinder Shapeabilities Asian Accents border (which I loved most) all around my white easel card out of glitter foam sheet. Then I added an embossed layered white CS as my focal point of center using Swirl embossing folder from Itsy Bitsy(new). I loved the crispy effect of this folder after using it.

     At the bottom of my front view I did some paper piecing, I added a layer of off white glittered foam sheet ,second layer is from a silver polka dots on white. Then , third layer is my free digi image (bunny-donteatthepaste) which I coloured using my promarkers and white Sakure gel pen. There is another image at the top most corner at left side which is also a free digi image(bunnyballoon-www.Dulemba.com) . I just loved this image, I decoupage the image to give dimension. I added some balloons using balloon punch and some DP's and tied a silver string along with the basket and a cute pom pom added to its tail. Then, I used an another die from Spellbinders Just Swingin set .
      Now, The sentiment is from Easter-Spring set  and highlighted with Sakura Silver glitter pen and I inked all the edges with Versacolour silver pigment ink.  Then I decorated the both center panels using silver beaded lace.

     At the bottom right corner, I added a charm which I made myself using vellum dotted sheet, sequences, some tulle and silver hanging is reused from a rakhi.

  And look at this beautiful White and silver huge flower which is heat embossed using Wow silver bells glitter powder and diamond dust too. Isn't it charming! What do you think?  I finished off my card using some silver flowers, a silver button, some white pearls and a silver organza ribbon and a
bow too.

  All in all as it is my first white creation, I'm pleased with this one!!

A Gift Handbag

Hello crafters!
                    Well............This time I was not make a card but I created a Gift Handbag first time.  I took the inspiration from Craftscope.com. All the instructions has given on how to make a gift bag with a free template. Hers is the template under the heading: Card handbag-free craft instructions

Here is a cute little gift bag I made using the light cardboard.  I used this template but I have slightly changed the template according to my need. I cut out the bag body and handle templates on a pink CS and placed the templates on a light cardboard sheet and then I covered the outer side of the body using DP from my stash. Then, I folded the bag sides up and secured them in place. I squeezed  all 4 sides of the bag gently, creasing them & pasted and decorated the gift handbag.

I stamped the image Fancy Sunbonnet Miss Muffet from Little miss muffet stamps on a white CS. She is looking beautiful sitting on a tree trunk with some spring flowers and a cute little bug watching her . I coloured her with promarkers and highlighted with Sakura glitter gel pens and embellished her using a cute heart shaped rhinestone, sky blue diamond shaped rhinestone on the bow . Here is a closer look:

I embossed the aluminium foil sheet(6 pieces together) using Damask Embossing Folder from Itsy Bitsy(new) and brayered the ultimate metallic teal ink from Encore on the top and daubed the scalloped edges with opera pink ink from versacolour. The scalloped oval thin die cut I used is from A1 craft supply store.

The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping(Big Wishes II) which I selected and received as a winner. Isn't it great!!! I used clear embossing stamp pad from Versamark and heat embossed with opaque pastel pink powder and highlighted with Blue Sakura Glitter gel pen.

 After that, I covered the handle using a silver ribbon and also covered at the top and bottom edges around from all the 4 sides of the bag and from inside top edge too. There is a special silver net metallic sheet as I placed underneath. I placed an eyelet over the oval tags and attached a dotted baby pink organza ribbon and made a bow.I stitched some handmade flowers and a pink button on the bow tied in a handle.

I used Ek Success scalloped border punch and Mariposa  Pink Metallic CS 12x12 Pad from DCWV and attached the border . I topped it off with a beautiful white hanging lace on the border from my stash.

 At the bottom I used Spellbinder Shapeabilities Asian accents Die cut using Mariposa stack and Baby pink Polka dot sheet from Summer Bloom Collection (new) and attached the border.

I punched some flowers using jef 8 petal punch and placed handmade flowers and decorate it with  pink pearls. I used shiny metallic pink sheet for the flowers.

This small handbag is great for giving small presents. Isn't it......What do you think....!!! So many things gone to make it but at last I am happy that I achieved the goal:)

Fairy Magic

Hi friends!
                This fortnight I have the opportunity to be a Guest designer over at Scrappers Delight. I chose to work with Breena Fairy (which I recently won). She is a super cute fairy in a full bloom of spring garden. I love how her hair is up in a pony and a head gear is making her stylish. So, Here is my take on the image:

I coloured her with promarkers and gave  her a soft and elegant look
and added Diamond glitter dust to her wings. I added vellum wings too and heat embossed the edges with Wow silver sparkle. Here is a closer look:

I put some bling on her using turquoise gems and a cute pink flower in her head gear and a gem stone for earrings and finger ring too. I added silver stickles in her hair. Isn't she looking gorgeous!!!

 
The Ladybug and flower image is a free digi from Scraphappy Paper Crafter which I added to create a scene. I coloured it with promarkers and add a touch of silver,pink and golden Sakura Glitter pens. It is a shaped card using Jef Shapers Giant Punch. My card base is soft pink and I matted my images on a dark pink designer paper(from my stash). I used Spellbinder Nestabilities Large Scalloped Octagons.

I added a 3-D Sticker butterfly at the top right corner. Isn't it cute.....

The sentiment is an free image from apieceofheartblog and framed using Scalloped Oval Thin Die cuts. I highlighted it with pink Sakura glitter pen. I heat embossed the scalloped edges using Wow Opaque Pink embossing powder. I embellished my card with a grosgrain silver bow, added a cute pink bow with a Metal button attached on it and some pearls, rhinestones.

Just Swinging By

Hello crafters!
 Another month passed away so quickly. Hope you're having a good week so far! The weather is warm and sunny in Delhi.
    I am thrilled to have been chosen for GD spot at Crafting by Designs in their fun challenge which is Anything goes this month. And here is my Swinging Side Stepper card. I used a cute free image from Dearie Dolls. This is my second creation using this image.

I coloured my image with promarkers and fussy cut out it. My card base is textured turquoise blue, lemon yellow and white CS. I adhered the coloured image using pop dots on a frame die cut using Spellbinder Shapeabilities just Swingin'. I stamped a bird from WE R Memory keepers( Love Bird Set ) using Versa inks and highlighted it with silver pen and added a black rhinestone as an eye. I also coloured the tree with promarkers.

I  added Couture creations intricutz Dies fences and Chloe(the yellow one)which is used as a peacock enjoying the spring season in this garden . To the image panel I wrapped a blue striped ribbon through the fence and tied a bow adding  a button with yellow twine. I also added a golden thin lace  at the bottom.

 

The front step has the free digi garden image from Knitting and.com and I daubered the background using Versamark pigment inks. I used Jef 5 petals punch to make these lovely blue bloom. The second step has a cute free sentiment and  on the last step , I added a rose flower made with golden grosgrain ribbon. I attached  hand cut leaves using  light green glittered felt and heat embossed the veins using wow golden glittered powder. I left the panel blank for the message.

     I finished off the card with some embellishments using pearls , gems and rhinestones too. It was so much fun to decorate the side stepper card. Hope you like it!!!
