A big floral card!

Hello to all!

Today I am representing a big floral card with two shades of stencilling! This is my DT post for Expressions Craft Stamps!

This is a pretty simple card using chipboard, stencils, with my big own handmade flower and some embellishments!

I started by stencilling using gelatos in two shades as shown in the pic above. Then I put my stencil and rubbed the colors using a baby wipe, see the result.

The main focus of the card is stencilling, chipboard with a big flower that I made using the tattered rose biggest flower. Die cut some flowers and moist them with water, shaping them and created the textures using tools and pad. You can try this technique with easy steps as shown in the pic and made a big flower combing altogether and adhered the pollens inside.

For chippies, there are 3 sets in the same pack, I used the middle one here. The beautiful chippie shape is perfect for the placement of flowers. I applied white acrylic paint on it and embellished my big flower with other fillers too.

To create more textures I placed some very tiny sequins in pink here and there.

Placed a sentiment and finished it off with some jewelled rhinestones.

Supplies used:
Cardstocks: Heavyweight white CS, White stitched textured and shining pink handmade sheet
Chipboard: Designer Square Frames from Expressions Craft Stamps
Stencil: Floral from Expressions craft Stamps
Dies-  Sizzix Tattered Florals Bigz die and Thank you word die
Pearl white acrylic color from Camel
Gelatos- Pink and purple
Crystal beaded glass pollens, Dark pink pollens, wire, green tape, fillers, jewelled rhinestones, mulberry leaves, tiny pink sequins

Thanks a bunch

Hello friends!
How are you all?

I am very much busy with my DT schedule post from last 2 weeks but taking out some time to participate in some of the challenges as this is Thanksgiving month!

Here is my creation with all glitter!

Last time I purchased a mini stamp named-Mini bunch and never used it before. This is so delicious to color it with any medium and here I used distress inks. I stamped the image on a watercolor sheet and heat embossed in gold sparkle and fill the colors using my watercolor brush pen, fussy cut it.
Created a glittery bg using one of the grunge effect stamps.
I choose a navy blue color card base using a double stitched rectangular die. Then die cut a yellow foam sheet to create a window panel with stitching effect and adhered it. Now die cut a sentiment Thanks out of a glittery gold sheet and stamped Thanks a bunch sentiment using blueprint DI on the yellow foam sheet first time and remove the Thanks part. Love the result and grunge look of the sentiment on the foam sheet.
Now all components are ready to adhere using pop dots. Few very tiny sequins placed in the centre of flowers as an embellishment.

Hope you like it with all glittery touch!

Supplies used:
Cardstocks: Navy blue, Golden foam sheet
Stamps: Mini bunch, grunge effects and Purely sentiments from Mudra stamps
Dies: Crazy double running stitch rectangle nesting die from Stamplorations (Cutplorations), Rounded double stitched rectangle die from Peekaboo, Thanks word die from YNS
Distress Inks: Crushed olive, lucky clover, twisted citron, picked raspberry, candied apple, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, blueprint
Wow embossing powder: Metallic gold sparkle
Tiny navy blue color sequins, crafty glue and pop dots

http://yournextstamp.com/blog/sketch-and-color-challenge-78/- I used red, green, and yellow from this color palette

Pink Christmas with Mini Calendar!!!

Hello everyone!
Hope you all are well and ready for the Christmas festivities!

Today is a special day for me, It's my Birthday, so I made a special project which is really near to my heart! It's a wall hanging cum Mini Calendar!!!

For a long time, I wanted to make a Calendar always and This time I got such beautiful new chipboard sets. This is my DT project for Expressions craft stamps and made me inspire to create a new style! I fell in love with all my heart with these chippies. The reindeer is soooo majestic with all beautiful frames in 3 different sizes and gorgeously design, love it!
It took me to complete in 2 days! It was a labour of love, but completely worth it!😊

I will show how to create these step by step process!

I hoard this cardboard for a long time from a packaging and it has 3 scored lines too:). I covered it with pattern papers.

The scalloped frames and reindeer are highlighted by crystal clear powder and sparkling dots using glossy accents.

I applied the chalk paint to the snowflake and highlighted it with crystal clear powder for frosty winter effects. The flowers are spritz with sprays and highlighted too for more frosty textures!

For the LO, I toned down the color of the PP using chalk paint, texture paste and spray, added more snowflakes using Merry Christmas stencil.

To create the calendar tabs. I stamped them month wise using jet black ink and my favorite tool Misti, always made work so easy and quick for best results and applied different stencils month wise like on Dec month I applied snowflakes, Jan with new beginnings so applied stars and so on....... You can see the pics clearly.

Now time to assemble all the things I going to use them in a Shabby style, so I took a rough pic in advance, always helpful to create!

Here are the few close-ups:

Love the majestic look of Reindeer with wintery crystal texture frame!

I used natural hay, twigs and tiny pine cone here!

I added the Calendar using brads and I die cut these tiny tags showing The year 2018 from the same paper pack.  There is a pen to write some special event or day on the backside of the tab!
These are the rub-on!

Christmas bells with snow!

Hello to all!

Time to share another DT post for Expressions Craft Stamps!

What would be Christmas be like without the sound of Christmas bells and some snow? So I am featuring Christmas bells on this card to ring the holidays!

I started by stencilling the bells using DI and added snowflakes on them using snow paste.  Fussy cut them.

On a pretty plaid PP, I added a sentiment. and covered it with colored vellum sheet. Now die cut a stitched border and adhered it to the vellum sheet. Using the stencil I added some snowflakes on the vellum sheet by mixing some sparkly dots to snow paste.

A view from a different angle:

Die cut some pine boughs. Now arranged all the elements on my card base. Adhered my Christmas bells using pop dots and a string. Finished it with a tiny bow and some rhinestones. And in the last added some more snow paste to pine bough and at the edges of the card base to create some more textures and festive look!

Here is the matching inside!

The sentiment is also from the same stencil. I embossed some tiny snowflakes on a vellum strip too. Try to keep this fun card in festive colors!

Cardstocks: Off-white CS from Expressions Craft Stamps, red CS, vellum sheet
Stencil: Merry Christmas from Expressions Stamps
