SPREAD THE SCRAPPY LOVE AND GRAB A BADGE

Brief Tutorial

This card is ready for spring and the couple is made for each other and enjoying the sunbeams in this spring garden! I love the cute sentiment on this.

  • I began with this cute couple, stamped the image onto a watercolored CS and watercolored them using Zigs. Fussy cut them and inked the edges using a black pen.

  • On a white CS I die cut a heart from the center. Placed the sunburst stencil and applied Mermaid Lagoon DI.

  • Now placed another stencil from the same stencil set to create my ground using twisted citron and lucky clover DI, blended them properly. Now spritzed this panel with water, picking up some of the excess ink with a paper towel for more interest.

  • For the next step, I used my heart die as a stencil on a Bielo white card base and blended Blueprint DI. On this blended heart heat embossed the sentiment using Opaque bright white embossing powder.
  • Now die cut a bunch of Hollyhock flowers in white and watercolored them using Zigs.
  • Layered my sunburst panel on that Blended heart panel carefully using pop dots.

  • Created the spring scene placing all the elements with foam adhesives with dimensions.
Hoping you enjoyed this beautiful creation!

Too good to be forgotten!

Hello crafty peeps!
Happy Thursday!

Hoping you all are enjoying your day!

Today I showcased a cute card which is focusing on a sentiment using numbers!
I am inspired by I Love Math Challenge #8 hosting by very talented Crafty Milka! The theme is to use "Numbers". Here is my take on the challenge:

I started with a Inverted scallop rectangle frame die cut in black. In inner piece I roughly drew a grid using a pencil lightly. Stamped the cross stitch hearts using my Misti. First I heat embossed only the pastel pink hearts and then again stamped the rest of the hearts in opaque bright white embossing powders. And Yes don't forget to rub those lines! It is clear in this close up pic below:

Die cut a scallop stitched frame and stamp the sentiment in frost white chalk ink. Then the numbers in the stamped are highlighted with my white gel pen.
I added a doily to create more interest and focused on the sentiment with a pink stripe.
Added a tiny heart with arrow and a bow.

Hope you enjoyed today's project!

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a CAS card I have made using watercoloring! This is my DT post for Craftyscrappers!

Isn't the image is soooooo adorable!

This is a one layer CAS card with a hint of pink color and monochromatic look!

Here are the making steps
  • Using my Misti I stamped the image in jet Black Archival ink on a Bielo white CS. Watercolored the image with Zig brush colors in a  monochromatic look.
  • Die cut a heart and used it as a stencil. Cover the image by placing the heart, masking the image and using the Damask stencil applied Hickory Smoke DI in two tones.

  • Drew a heart shape now with a black watercolor pencil.
  • Watercolored colored the heart with a pop of pink Zig brush color.

  • Now created a ground with tiny pink grass. The sentiment is heat embossed on a tiny black flag strip in Opaque bright white embossing powder and popped it up.
Here is the beautiful inside with s cute sentiment and I used that scrap piece of heart (used as a masking) for my sentiment!

A mixed media style Valentine robotic theme revives my inner geek and just make me smile.
Can I just say I love this set!!!! The images are soooo cute for words if you ask me!!!

Both of the robots and a cute tiny love bulb are stamped in Jet Black archival ink. For coloring I used Shimmer Paints Creamy Cantalope and Baby blush and mixed it with my Zig markers color brushes and fussy cut them. Love the shimmery touch on these cuties, visible so clearly, A close up pic:

To create my background using Hearts stencil I applied texture paste and gave it a touch of  Baby blush pearl shimmer mixing with slight water randomly and at the edges too.

Added some Liquid glossy accents to the love perimeter, eyes and heart to finish the front of the images.

I added a love bottle fully loaded with different glitters, sequins and hearts and tied it with a love bulb image. Placed a tulle net in pink at the bottom of the card panel and adhered it with my mulberry flowers and pollen flowers. I slightly applied the baby blush shimmer at the edges of rose flower petals too.

I added the sentiment on a black strips and heat embossed them in opaque bright white embossing powder and highlighted the word Glow with Magenta twinkle glitter embossing. To create more interest added some die cut gears in different shapes and colors and bling the centers too.

Valentine card with an announcement!

Hello friends!
Happy Friday!

Today, I'm popping in to share a love themed shaker card that would be perfect for Valentine's day. And I am so glad to announce here that I will work now for Craftyscrappers Design Team!!!!

So here is my card with cute Robotic images! I hope you enjoy it!

I used some robotic images from the Beep - beep stamp set and watercolored with my Steadtler pencils, fussy cut them. I do think the image and sentiment say it all so it ended up being a clean and simple shaker card.
I added a thin strip which is stenciled in different dye colors using Rays stencil as shown in the pic.

I die cut the the inverted scallop rectangles out of white foam sheet 3 times to move my shaker elements properly!

The sentiment is heat embossed on a blue strip. Added a few googly eyes, some clear tiny sparkle dots, a bred heart sequin, ringlets sequins and there you have it!

Lots of love with washi tape fun!

Hello friends!

I am sharing some fun way to use Washi tape to jazz up the Valentine Day .

Can you just imagine giving this to someone you love for Valentine's Day, I think it makes a pure joy to show your love to that special person? This darling card is made with straws with some beautiful laces added from my stash gives it that feminine touch and Perfect for Valentine's day by adding a Heart Balloon and shaker cuteness!
It's a part of my DT project for Peek-a-boo Designs!

Such a fabulous moodboard, full of glam elements! I Jazzed up my projects with sequin elements and inspired by all pink! Process

1. I wrapped lots of snippet of straws with  Lovey Dovey Washi tape and adhered them on a Dual Stitched Rounded Rectangle die cut rectangle and added a gorgeous white lace to it.

2. Die cut the next size from the same die and added some snippets of dual shade of pink lace to it.
3. Die cut a heart from Balloon Mania die set out of copper glitter sheet and tied it with some golden strings.
4. Stamped the sentiment from Veined Daisy stamp set in dual shades of pink and before drying, quickly added some clear gloss embossing powder to it and heat embossed it.

Here is the close-up view: You can clearly see the gloss on the sentiment.

5. Heat embossed an MDF designer frame in the dual shade, cut an acetate sheet to create a window and added some shaker elements to it with the sentiment. Adhered that die cut Heart using the pop dot.
6. Now adhered the focal panel to already embossed stitched base panel. Embellished it using some gold sequins and tiny enamel hearts.
