Handmade embellishment 3 Fold card with a Lumba!

Hello everyone!
Happy Friday!

I made a folded card with a twist using my own handmade embellishment to cover it up and made a matching Lumba for Bhabhi celebrated Rakhi festival in India!

Firstly I created a 3 fold card base from a textured white CS. And the stamped folded part is easily tugged under this embellished part from the bottom portion because it is untucked.

This is the Topside fold. I made my own handmade embellishments using negative of chippies, handmade flowers, stamped flowers and decorated it.  And added it with using double-sided adhesive foam tape at the top only and it helps to cover the other part while folding (shown in the above pic).

Using clear embossing ink heat embossed those polka dots with embossing powder and opened as shown in the pic. And open like this:

I stamped the sentiment in the centre part with some leaves and embellished it too.

To create this I die cut some flowers, stamped some mendhika style flowers and leves on vellum. Then heat embossed and fussy cut them.

Now arranged them on a chipboard piece as shown in the pic. I heat embossed one of the nested square parts too using metallic EP. Highlighted by some of the plastic flowers using Inka gold to decorate the centre of flowers.

Now I made a matching Lumba for this card set to gift.

I die cut flowers from fabric satin cloth as shown in the pic. And decorated as I wanted!
I am happy that this die can cut this satin cloth so easily!!! Made a rose flower and highlighted the edges with silver embossing paste and let it dry properly. And added through a string with a lot of embellishments.

Here is the video

Hoping you enjoyed my project!

Cute as a button Baby Layout!

Hi everyone!

I 'm back to share with you my baby layout for DCAM blog inspiration. A soft, delicate, little vintage page in light pink and blue shades, made with lots of collectables, chipboard elements,  fussy cut flowers, shaker element, stamping and dies.

I think you can imagine how excited I'm, presenting my first scrapbooking baby layout!
I fell in love with Bundle of Joy collection critter sheet! I love the cute baby images, baby related elements, glossy print, colors, the flowers:D

God's most beautiful thoughts bloom into children! Babies are always such a miracle that brought joy to our lives with such a little body........My sweet baby layout symbolizes the word Yesterday as the past memories of the times gone by...... every dream come true with all happiness, love, affection, made our life complete! For this layout, I choose a sweet baby pic with the vintage feel on it!

The cute baby images inspired me to try something different this time! I fussy cut every little piece of this critter sheet with all tiny details. I wanted to create a composition of flowers around the baby image and all cute little elements to showcase as well, so created this little scene!
I also added a strip of a corrugated off-white sheet and added strips of pattern papers too, inked all of the pink scrap paper edges with distress ink, with the scissors I slightly distressed the edges too and curled them for more texture and dimension. Love the effect and textures which are giving perfect volume to this beautiful LO!
I matted my baby photo onto a pink sheet and also used a chipboard frame, heat embossed it. I also used some die cut leaves, fussy cut watercolour floral critter sheet to add underneath my photo.
I did some stamping too around my striped paper with some double stitched lines.

For the duo leaves, I used an ink smooshed technique using distress ink and die cut them. Made a cute shaker too with scallop circle dies filled with confetti Sprinklers in Multicolor with a baby bib! Die cut stitched tags also from some patterned papers along with a sentiment banner from the same critter sheet and ties up with a pink twine.

Here are some close-ups:

Then I started to create my layers on the page with lots of flowers and leaves, clouds, rainbows and all the tiny elements I added on scalloped circles with dimension.

I heat embossed one of the clouds using embossing powder for more dimension and realistic look.

The black banner sentiments are from the same critter sheet and giving depth to the image. Added a text chipboard sentiment Dream and heat embossed in pink glitter for textures.
I like the final result and Hoping you also enjoyed too!

To finish it off I added some of the embellishments from my collection to decorate my layout, like a pom-pom frilled lace, crochet flowers, luxury button, prima flowers, a cute dragonfly and few hearts!
This has been a fun collection to work with!

Happy crafting!

Explore Numbers 123!

Hello crafty friends!
Happy Monday!

So once again the day has arrived for the next challenge and inspiration for Cut It Up Challenges!
I love this time theme Use ABC's or Numbers 123's on your project.
My Cas card today, I created using Bear Invite stamp set. I adore this Teddy bear, just so cute!

To create this card, Firstly I stamped the bear image and colored it with my Chameleon pens, fussy cut it.
Then I took a soft grey color CS, stamped the image and sentiment. Now die cut those numbers and stitching holes on an angle. I love adding small details because it gives that extra finishing touch to your project! Added some white color splatters. Adhered the main panel using pop dots on a black card base with a yellow color strip.

Added a wobbler die to the bear image as shown in the above pic. And adhered it on the stamped image for action. How fun!!!
Finished it off with a pair of wooden star embellishments!

You can see the bear in action in this video!

Boho style earrings set with dreamcatcher card!

Hello everyone!
Happy Wednesday!

I am back with something different and very trendy in Fashion gallery!!!

Jewellery is something that really enhances the grace and beauty of the women and young girls. They keep themselves updated with the latest trends and designs in jewellery so that at any event or function they are praised for their fine selection!

Now get ready to peek into them.

Let get started with boho style earrings first. When I got my DT kit and saw the leaves with Tendrils I know what I wanted to make exactly using them!

Steps:
  • Die cut the leaves out of heavy whisper white CS.
  • A little paint or glitter work added more a fancy touch to this jewellery.
  • So I heat embossed them using embossing powders with half copper and the half in black glitter 3 times for thick layer.
  • Die cut the circles 4 times from an adhesive copper color glitter foam sheet and arranged them as shown in the below pic.

  • This is the back side. After embossing it gave a feeling of light metal leaves even you can't tear them now.
  • Affixed the earrings to the wire crimp.

These took a very short time to assemble, are relatively inexpensive and very easy to make. So, if you're short on ideas for gifts these are GREAT in a pinch!
Love the cool way and the desired look after finishing.

The Dreamcatcher card set

Steps

I die cut the leaves with tendrils 3 times out of white CS and half embossed from the bottom side.
My card base is whisper white and I added an inverted scallop border on it.
Die cut the sparkle word text and heat embossed in metallic copper

Now die cut a scallop stitched circle from an adhesive copper glitter foam sheet. Tied the double shade twine to the leaves and beads along with strings. Embellished it with half pearls in different shade and sizes.

I think they turned out great and were so much fun to make!
Happy crafting!

Pink Altered photo frame with my own DIY embellished flowers!

Hello everyone!
Happy Saturday!

Important:
My project picked in the Top 3 category here:
http://papericiousindia.blogspot.com/2018/09/papericious-august-challenge-winners.html

Today I want to showcase an altered photo frame with my own DIY embellished flowers!

This altered unique and beautiful photo frame is a perfect addition to any room in your house! I made this for a young Birthday girl! It has a glass frame with a photo space to make it more special. The frame is embellished with pink DIY handmade flowers, glittery foam leaves and decorated with some chippies, mulberry flowers, crochet flowers, crystals and a butterfly too!

Firstly I started with making my own DIY handmade embellished flowers to decorate this photo frame. I die cut some flowers out of a white Sigma CS, distressed them, soaked into the water, shaping them and applied silver glitter paste with my finger to each flower edges (as shown below in the pic). Added pollens at the centre of the flowers. Added the last layer of flower from a silver fabric cloth too because it has a theme of pink and silver colors! The leaves are from a white glittered foam sheet and lightly distressed at the edges.

Pics from different angles:

You can see I have added a last layer to the flower with a silver cloth die in the below pic!

Made a pair of foam flowers too!

I removed the backward wooden stand and glass to paint it properly. I mixed the white chalk paint with a little pink one and mixed it well. Applied 3 coats on it. Highlighted the parts of the frame with platinum. Then applied 3 coats of varnish before decoration for more finishing.  Roughly arranged the materials and took a pic.

I took a petty floral PP with watercolor look and die cut the centre space to add the photo inside. Embellished the inner edges with double beaded white pearl lace.

Now arranged my own handmade flowers in pink with some tiny mulberry flowers, leaves and some more silver and pink flowers from my stash. Added a pretty butterfly in pink.

And I arranged the decor in such a way that frame can be placed both in the vertical and Horizontal arrangement of the photo!

I am very happy with the result!
