Thinking of you!

Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

I created a CAS sympathy card where the theme is Hard to say, an inspiration post for Cut It Up Challenge.

https://mijnhobbyhonkchallenges.blogspot.com/2022/02/winnaars-en-toppers-mhh-37-alles-of.html

I used wildflowers stencil for the background with soft inking on a white panel.

Then die cut stick frames out of the white panel. Added this card front panel with foam tape as shown in the pic.

Then die cut some floral sprigs in both white and pink CS to help it stand out and have depth too.

Added the sentiment using the same ink.

Love the clean look with a lot of white space, textures with a few sequins.

Happy crafting!

Supply List

Cardstocks: Whisper white and Victorian Pink CS

Stencils: Wildflowers from MFT

Dies: Floral spring set of 5 from Craftangles; stick frames from poppy stamps

Best fishes!

 Hello to all!

Happy Monday!

One of my favorite places to be is on the seashore side. I am fortunate to live within an hour and watch the sea life. I love the sound of waves crashing, the beautiful fishes in different designs and sizes in the deep seawater!

I used circles and dots set from the Sizzix embossing folder and at the top, I slightly blended the distress ink at the top corner.

Stamped a cutie-patootie fish and watercolored it with my ZIG brushes and some more tiny bunch of fish. Fussy cut them all. Created an underwater sea scene and popped up my patootie fish. Added a strip with the sentiment best fishes.

Die-cut some seaweeds and slightly blended some DI.

Added some bubbles using enamel accents.

Winter house

 Hi and welcome!

Happy Saturday!

Today's card is inspired by a winter night scene with a new loving home.

https://christmas-craft-creations.blogspot.com/2022/02/winners-post-january-stencilling.html

The cute house is so adorable and really stand out against the winter snow stencilling background.

For the background, I started by masking the area and blended some distress inks. I applied some embossing paste using a stencil. For the house, I stamped it in archival ink and watercolored it.

The windows and snow on the house were coated with some liquid shimmer watercolor to add a bit of shimmer which is a really pretty soft silvery-pearl look. Die-cut some trees and added that house with foam tape with some Smoke hearts. Added a very thin strip of navy blue CS stripe on both sides.

The sentiment is from another stamp set and fits nicely in the available space.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Happy crafting!

Snowflake slimline card to shake!

Hello to all!

It's my first flat shaker card to showcase, is so popular!

This card is in Top picks here:

I first made a galaxy background using distress inks and cut out the cool snowflakes die out of it. Then added some splatters using platinum Inka gold for some sparkle.

To create a fun shaker dome, I used a thick OHP sheet (thick clear plastic sheet), 1" larger than the die-cut panel and covered my panel with it as shown in the below pic.

Leave the top part without red tacky tape to fill shaker elements in it, shown in the below pic. After filling shaker elements cover the top part also to close off and secure.

I filled some diamond dust, snowflakes, sequins into it.

Die-cut a scalloped border 2 times, once from a white sheet and another from a silver glitter sheet.

I mounted it on a white slimline card base. Added a rub-on sentiment over the OHP sheet with some titbits of white circles in different sizes using the same die, some sequins and 2 die-cut snowflakes for snowfall.

So pleased to play with this gorgeous die and love how it turned out!

Happy crafting!

Happy Birthday to you!

 Hello everyone!

Happy Thursday!

Today, I made a card for the Birthday Celebration using the WPlus9 Spring Blooms stamp set having all solid images of flowers and leaves!

I started by drawing a circle with a pencil in the middle of my card base.

I really came out of my comfort zone and played a little this time using an unusual combo of colors. I stamped all the images in Distress inks. The main colors are cracked pistachio, victorian velvet with a hint of brown  brush marker colour.

Lastly, I rubbed the hand-drawn circle and marked it with my black pen. Stamped the birthday sentiment from another set. And some foliage stamping with my brush markers and black pen for more interest.

You can also see a tiny white embossed butterfly fluttering in the flowers.
I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Birthday cake card!

 Hello friends!

Happy Friday!

Today's project is a beautiful Birthday card. Who doesn't love cake topping with cream?

I started with a white panel, blended the distress inks in three shades-yellow, pink and lime green and die cut a striped background panel.

Die-cut a Birthday cake twice and fill the negative parts with different colors using Zig markers. Stamped the cake stand and some flowers, colored them, fussy cut all.

Now on a pastel yellow textured base panel, I added those stripes at the bottom part only. On a pink strip stamped celebrate sentiment.

At the top added Happy Birthday sentiment with colorful candles.

To make the cake stand out more, I adhered it with 3D foam tape.  Dazzled my cake with some crystal Nuvo drops and some diamond dust. Finally added some heart droplets.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.

Have a great day!
