Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Mixed Media Christmas Tree Trio

Happy Thursday!

 Recently I was going through my stash and rekindled my interest in Silver glitter paste. Because of the paste opacity, a thin layer makes it more opaque and visible the underneath color. Talk about the drama! 

So I thought it would be the perfect use for a new stencil release Christmas tree trio recently at Uniko.

It looked complicated but was easy to make. 

Here are step-by-step instructions with pics:

On a white panel, I placed my Christmas Tree trio stencil and drew the outlined trees one by one as shown in the above pic.

Once again, I put my stencil to ink my solid outlined tree using mowed lawn DI in between all these trees one by one.

It appeared like this as shown in the above pic.

I ink-blended the rest of the space using forest moss, crushed olive and mowed lawn DI. I outlined my trees using a green acrylic marker for more interest.

Now it's time to decorate my trees and the background. I added some confetti using DI.

I used my beloved Posca white pen for snowfall in the sky. Stamped the sentiment from the Pure Florals Poinsettia stamp set. To finish it off I wrapped a thread around the trees.

It's Beginning To Look Like... October/November Reveal, Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Welcome to the release day with a blog hop and giveaway!

Here is the full view of all the stamps now available at Uniko!

My first card focuses on the Background Blocks: Snowflake Flurry stamp set. I love snowflakes, and this stamp set image is so great.

I wanted wood textures for the background, so I chose a rusty hinge, vintage photo, walnut stain and black soot DI and added these inks directly to the stamp.

 I love the wooden texture I achieved. I added some sequins to enhance the beauty of this card panel. The sentiment is from the most wonderful stamp set.

Second Card

Are you a wreath lover? Wreaths are a warm and welcoming addition to the door anytime. This card features a Big & Bold Joy stamp set.

I started stamping with Tiding of Comfort & sentiment in bundle sage DI first and bold Joy in barn door DI in the centre of the card panel. Then I drew a circle slightly with a pencil around the sentiment. Stamped the leaf twig on the circle in bundled sage DI and then again in forest moss DI to create my wreath from the Season of Beauty stamp set. Added the dots using barn door DI. Then I added some hearts and the dove using the same ink. voila done!

Last card

My last card features the Framed Fairy Lights stamp set. I wanted to create a winter scene with a festive Northern Nights backdrop showcasing fairy light strings. It is simple to do, and yes, it gives your card a wow factor. I used distressed ink-blended mediums to create my background.

First I took a white panel and stamped one of the images from the  Background Builder: Winter Wonderland stamp set and I heat embossed in Wow Ebony black EP. Now on to the Northern lights I started by adding streaks of twisted citron, mermaid lagoon and wilted violet DI using foam brush.

Next, to complete the background, I applied chipped sapphire DI between the colors and black soot around the edges. Then, I added some parts of the light stamp set to the northern light background and heat embossed it with Wow Opaque Bright White EP. 

Now, by adding a tiny drop of water at each light inside, the water is soaked because of DI ( as shown in the above pic), and voila, I got the same ink effect in pastel colors.

I love the result. I fussy-cut the panel from the bottom part. The panel is added to the white card base with dimensions. The sentiment is from the same set.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Introducing Framed - Fairy Lights

Happy Saturday!

Today is a final day of a new release stamp set called Framed Fairy Lights and I bet you will fall in love with it!

Today, I have a fun card to share with you all! It's an interactive, light-up card. As soon as I saw this new Framed Fairy light stamp set, I just knew that it was time to finally use the T-light that had been sitting in my drawer. It is so much easier to use for any project than I expected. I removed the top part of the T-light and only used the machinery part by adding four layers of foam tape behind the panel. So easy peasy without using any mechanism!!!

Firstly, I created an inking background using Jet black Archival ink and Black ultimate pigment ink on a white CS panel.

Then I stamped the fairy lights string and heat embossed it with Wow Ebony Black EP. I colored all the lights using my Acrylic markers. The sentiment is also heat embossed.

Then before matting it on my white CS, I added a tiny T- T-light bulb behind it.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Introducing BIG & BOLD Joy

Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

Today is Day 4 and Uniko is introducing a new stamp called: Big & Bold Joy!

Send peaceful wishes this Christmas filled with joy!

With so much unrest in the World, this is the perfect card this season to spread a message of peace. It features festive foliage with a white dove and Joy in the World.

I started with a textured black card base. I stamped the Peace, Love & sentiment. Above this sentiment I added foliage with a dove and heat embossed them in a white puff twinkle.

Then, I stamped the "To the World" sentiment with a tiny circle map element and heat embossed all of them. I placed the Big and Bold Joy world in the centre and heat embossed it. At the top and bottom of the card space, I added falling snow using Background Builders: Winter Wonderland stamp set and heat embossed them using the same EP.

I highlighted all the elements using my Acrylic marker for more fun.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Introducing Background Blocks Snow Flurry

Happy Thursday!

Today is Day 3 of the introduction for the new October/November release at Uniko. We reintroduced the comeback stamps the past two days and today I showcased a new Background Blocks stamp.

My card features a beautiful new set called Background Blocks Snow Flurry stamp set, you can pair it with other Uniko products!

To begin this card, I took a white panel and stamped the image two times leaving some gap in the centre. I used Blue hues pigment inks. Love the inking results.

I paired it with the Let it Snow die set. The sentiment was heat embossed using white puff twinkle embossing glitter. Then I die- cut the Bold Snow word 2 times out of a white card piece and heat embossed the little part of the word at the bottom using the same EP. Die cut a snowflake in a silver glitter foam sheet.

Before placing, I added a few strips from a silver glitter CS to the centre panel and a layer of the white glitter sheet before matting it on the card base.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Reintroducing Pure Florals Poinsettia

 Hello everyone!

Happy Wednesday!

Welcome to Day 2 of Uniko's New Release! Today, we are reintroducing the Pure Florals Poinsettia stamp set, which includes many sentiments!

I started by creating a poinsettia. I stamped the image on Matte white CS and heat embossed it with rich gold EP. I watercolored it using a villainous potion and Victorian velvet DI. I used a yellow acrylic paint marker for the centre of the poinsettia flower. Once dried, I fussy cut only the bottom part of the flower.

I applied silver texture paste through a stencil on a textured pink CS at the bottom part only. I sprinkled Wow Hero EP on the texture paste before drying it completely and heat-set it. I then cut off a matte gold strip and attached it to my card front. 

I love the result of sprinkled glitter on the texture paste, don't you!!!

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and heat embossed in rich gold pale EP before placing the Poinsettia flower part to my card front.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Reintroducing Christmas Pop

Happy Tuesday!

Today is the first day of the introductions for the Oct/Nov festive New release at Uniko. Bev is reintroducing the Christmas Pop stamp set for this release which is in high demand to bring back it again. It has such beautiful decorative elements as well!

How about a quick, easy and fun card! I made this festive retro vibes card.

I created the Christmas Pop by overlapping one another in traditional festive colors. I wanted transparency so I chose Distress inks for this.

I started stamping with the solid triangles in shades of red and green hues first using barn door, lumberjack plaid, crushed olive, forest moss, and evergreen bough DI. Then I stamped the designer triangles overlapping one another. I added the tiny stars to all the triangles at the top. I added a star element to one of the Christmas Pop trees using walnut stain DI. The sentiment is from the Pure Floral Poinsettia stamp set. I placed the panel on the olive green matte CS.

Flippin' Seasonal Fun: Release day, Brand Ambassador Blog hop & Giveaway!

Finally, Today is official Release day, I love this small release yet so power-packed!!

 Time for a spooky Halloween card in a cute way!

I placed my Cobweb stencil on a white card panel at the top corner and filled the space using my Alcohol pastel ink pens. Added some dots using a gold marker. Love the pastel look.

I stamped a cat image using Archival Jet Black Ink. Added a bow for fun and the sentiment is from the same set. Placed my panel on a gold mirror cardstock.

Now some modern-style Christmas cards!

I started with a Background cobweb outer stencil using chipped sapphire distress ink and fussy cut out the shape. Then on my white card base, I created a background placing the cobweb stencil 1 using a rusty hinge and chipped sapphire distress inks. Using a Framed snowflake stamp set and Christmas greetings sentiment I created a background with nice ice blue glitter embossing powder. Then I put this embossed panel using double side foam tape.

I wanted a distressed Christmas tree image and this Ink & Flip Christmas tree is a perfect stencil for this look!

I started with a white square card base, I created the Geometric Christmas tree background using lumberjack plaid distress ink. Then I flipped the stencil and inked the stencil using Mowed Lawn, vintage photo Distress ink. I applied the same distressed inks using my foam brushes around this beautiful Christmas tree for a distressed look. Added some waterdrops. The sentiment is from the Baubles &Wreath builder stamp set using my Alcohol pastel ink pens.

Flippin' Seasonal Fun: Introducing Ink & Flip Layering Christmas Tree

Hello to all!

Happy Friday!

 Today is the introduction of Ink & Flip Geometric Christmas Tree stencil, I love the unique design with a modern touch!

I made this easy Modern Christmas tree using Ink & Flip Christmas Tree stencil.

I took a white panel and placed Ink & Flip stencil 1 for the outline image. Using a carved pumpkin, and picked raspberry distress inks I created this colourful bright panel, so easy.

I got this Blank Christmas Tree, so I filled my tree using Background Blocks of Scandinavian Christmas stamp images in Picked Raspberry ink again. Added wishing you a joyful Christmas sentiment. Voila done!

Now The Modern Christmas Tree Sign is complete. Such a quick and easy project that anyone can make so many variations. Can't wait to see yours!

Flippin' Seasonal Fun: Introducing Ink & Flip Layering Cobweb stencil Day 4

Hello everyone!

Happy Thursday!

Let's start with some more fun by introducing a new layering stencil! It has such a fun design that you can create so many designs with only the first layer, which I will reveal on the final day!

Are you ready for some Halloween cards, what's more spooky than this........!

On a white card panel, I inked through the stencil using villainous potion DI and rotated the stencil to create this angular design, inked it again for a subtle resist look. In the centre, I got the outer lined cobweb image. Then I placed my cobweb stencil and inked it with lost shadow and hickory smoke DI.

I added some tiny dots in cream color for a more realistic cobweb look. I added a spooky spider with EEK die-cut sentiment!

Time to revisit Ink & Flip Snowflake stencil with a new inspiration!

 I created a colorful background to reveal my beautiful geometric snowflake star in rainbow colors. I inked my stencil using mermaid lagoon, twisted citron, picked raspberry, carved pumpkin, rusty hinge, villainous potion and mustard seed Distress oxides. The sentiment is from the background builder winter wonderland stamp set and the centre snowflake image is from the Big & Bold snow stamp set.

Flippin' Seasonal Fun: Ink & Flip Christmas Star Day 1

 Hello everyone!

Happy Monday!

This time we will have some more Ink & Flip stencils with some previously released stencils. We are having a lot of inspiration from the Uniko Brand Ambassadors including me this week!

I am excited to share this Christmas card with the 3D look!

For this festive-style Christmas star, I Started with my Ink & Flip Christmas Star stencil using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide. On another white card stock, I flipped my stencil, filled some blue Lunar paste using my spatula and hand-cut the shapes after drying properly. Added these shapes using foam tape.

Added some holly leaves and the sentiment is from Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder stamp set.

It's so easy and fun to build and create an amazing design! I can't wait to see what star design you will make for your Christmas cards too!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Some summery cards

Happy Saturday!

I am back for Uniko Inspirations featuring  2 cards made with different stamps and a summery feel in my favourite blue colors.

Card 1

This card showcases a lot of mixing of stamps and a stencil in an abstract style. 

I started with a small rainbow using orange blossom archival ink and clouds in baby pink ink. I stamped one of the striped circles using Uniko Background Builders: Round in the circle stamp set in blue ink. And the solid leaves from the Just Because stamp set. A line of the beaded circles was added to the circle stamp set. 

The sentiment is from the Just Because stamp set. Ultimately, I added a strip of pink blings under my rainbow.

Card 2

This was so easy to make. I started with the Uniko Background Blocks Pinstripe stamp set in Cornflower Blue Archival ink on a white card sheet 2 times. Then stamped both solid and outlined monstera leaves in Momento Luxe Nautical blue ink on the striped background as shown in the below pic.

Added this to my blue CS. The sentiment is from the Remembrance stamp set.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Stencil Christmas Cards

Today I am on Uniko Blog with some Christmas in July inspiration cards. I have fun making samples with MOD Background Builder Circles. I really like how they turned out!

Card 1

 I created a stencilled panel in the festive Christmas colors using Distress inks lumberjack plaid and cracked pistachio by masking the stencil. 

I added the panel to a red color card stock and adhered that panel to my white card base. The sentiment is from the Most Wonderful stamp set. The addition of red pearls enhances the beauty of this card, isn't it!

Card 2

I came up with an idea for a type of pinwheel flower using it somewhere. How would it work initially? The end result is here.

What do you think? Pretty funky Christmas card in rainbow colors! The colors of the pinwheel flowers and the background is created using the Distress inks pine needles, mowed lawn, crackling campfire, carved pumpkin, uncharted mariner, chipped sapphire, picked raspberry, and wilted violet.

 The sentiment is from the Season of the Beauty stamp set. The colored rhinestones are added to the center of the flowers.

Go and make some funky pinwheel flowers for yourself. The MOD background Builder Circles is such a fun and versatile stencil, you definitely go for it!

June 2024 Reveal, Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Time to reveal the June small new release today. All the products are so versatile with power pack designs created by very talented Bev!

So let's get started with my first card.

I created some dimensional hexagons in rainbow colors using different distress inks. Firstly, I masked the panel to create my design. Adhered my first layer of stencil applied the distress ink and then flipped the stencil, inking the dimensional hexagons one by one. The sentiment is from the everyday spring sentiments stamp set.

Created the diagonal offside stripes in bold colors inking twice. First in salty ocean distress ink and then picked raspberry ink by overlapping the stripes.

The sentiment in the center is from Big & bold Happy stamp set.

 For this card, I started by stamping some offset stripes on a white panel. Die cut a butterfly from this.

On my black card base adhered two layered of textured sheets in yellow and soft green. Stamped the pattern using Background blocks linear stamp set in rustic wilderness distress oxide.

Before adhering to the striped panel, I placed a piece of black CS under the butterfly for dimension.

I love you sentiment is from Flower power 9 stamp set. Finished it off with some black rhinestones.

How fun to play and match with some new designs to old ones!

This is what I thought of this set when I opened up my new goodies and came up with this fun idea, beautiful blooms and so whimsical!

First, I created some stripes by a masking technique using background builder offset stripes, and outlined the stripes using a black Sharpie pen. The cat is from Mid-Century Modern Purrfect Day. The blooms are from the Flower Power 9 stamp set and I watercolored them using my ZIG watercolor brushes.

The sentiment and the small hexagon elements from the Bee stamp set and placed some small rhinestones to enhance the beauty of this card!

Now some colorful blooms card using Flower Power 10 stamp set. At the bottom, I placed the scattered polka dots stencil and inked it in jet black ink. Stamped the blooms and leaves, watercolored them all. Added a thin black strip and placed some adhesive half-black pearls.

For my last card, I created a background pattern using the floral images from the Flower Power 10 set. I stamped the flowers and leaves multiple times using the last shadow ink.

Then watercoloured my florals and leaves using ZIG watercolor brushes. 

After creating my own background pattern, I adhered that panel to my black card base with matching color stripes. I heat-embossed the sentiment in white from the same set and finished it off with some rhinestones.

Yes, I was oohing and aahing over this for quite some time seeing the result!!
