White Snowy X-Mas card!

Hello everyone!
Wish You All Warmest greetings of the season and every good wishes for the coming year!
This time I wanted to make an elegant and simple card for Christmas.
I just love the crisp clean look of CAS and I try so hard to get it right, and I am happy with the end result!
My card base is Snippet of textured Whisper White. The next layer is also Snippet of Whisper White that I ran through the Big Shot with the embossing folder. Then I took a piece of Whisper White organza ribbon with silver edge and tacked the ribbon to the front of the card. And glued the piece to the card base.
I recently purchased some Christmas tree and star ornament die cuts from Itsy Bitsy and they are awesome with intricate pattern of swirls! I highlighted the tree using Diamond dust at the front side and from the back side added silver dust for the dimension to show some snow.
Adhered a snippet piece of white satin ribbon to  the ornament creating a loop at the top and added a pom pom glued with diamond glitter dust.
I've added few birds sitting on a wire at the top enjoying this festive snowy season and added diamond stickles using the die as a stencil.
 Here is the inside:
I partially used the happy birthday die cut and removed the birth part and butterflies from the die cut and added X-Mas word in the center and highlighted them using diamond dust. And added some border at the panel and finished it off with few silver gems.
I hope you enjoyed my X-Mas creation!
Supplies used:
Sizzix Embossing folder- Branches, swirls & ribbons set of 2
Spellbinders Birds on a Wire die
Diamond dust and silver dust from Itsy Bitsy
Diamond stickles from Ranger
Birthday die from Wild Rose Studio
Lacey Border from Joy crafts
Upper Alphabet set from Memory Box
Corner punch

Magic of Pionsettia with New Year Wishes!

Hello Sweet Peeps!
I hope you are all in a joyful X-mas mood.
I am so happy as my daughter has arrived yesterday night from Chennai on her winter vacations for a month! So here is my cheerful creation to celebrate this joyful season!
For the base card I used a glossy and shimmer Snippet green colored CS from my stash. I embossed the Bright yellow glossy sheet using music BG, it deeply embossed and gave the card a nice quality finish, cut them into pieces and hand stitched them, adhered them on my base panel .
This pretty poinsettia bumps up the WOW! factor when heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I embossed the flower twice and layered the smaller portion over the larger for a 3-D effect. ( I don't have any Poinsettia die and I purchased this die cut flower set which was white in color from my local market). Added the golden pollens at the center.

The cheerful image is heat embossed in metallic gold and I colored it with my Copic markers, fussy cut it and popped up using pop dots. The champagne glass also heat embossed to cheer up the Holidays.
I am playing around with my new dies….  I love this Joy Crafts 6002/0254 Label die… it is so pretty! I inked it too. The sentiment was heat embossed in Metallic gold Emboss Powder. I stamped gingham background on a snippet piece of white card stock and cut it to the size of a large tag, added a border ribbon on both the sides of the tag (clipping the bottom as shown).  A gorgeous golden color ribbon bow with a bling, buttons on it surely adds a touch of class! Added few rhinestones to finish it off!
Here's the inside with another handwritten sentiment.......
The foundation of my design was this week's sketch by Inspired by Stamping IBSIC #89( I inspired by all the three themes-Sketch, colors and gingham).
I think I’m going to have a very merry Christmas this year, and I hope you will, too.  Take care and enjoy your weekend!

Winter Fun Penguin Slider Card

Hello everyone!
I am here with my first fun slider card with a little trick using This month's free digi with this cute "Playtime Winter Penguin" that I made for 2 Cute Ink Facebook Group Challenge by Heidi, Thanks to her for this adorable image.
2 Cute Ink kindly sends all their newsletter subscribers free digital stamp every month.

When you pull on the little tab,  the penguin walk through the snow to the right side and ready to play with snowball, so fun! I cut the slider using Spellbinder die and added a baker twine at the edges..
I used my Japanese brush pens first time). I put some glimmer mist water on my acrylic block and used my brush pen(Learned this technique from Jennifer McGuire) and colored this cute image. Add the diamond stickles to snowball and applied glossy accent to his cap, muffler and snowball for more shine and fussy cut it and adhered it on the tab using foam dots.
The silver metallic paper is a leftover snippet and perfect for the snow hills and I hand cut them and applied stickles at the edges and adhered them using foam adhesive for more dimensions.

The snowflake wreath is made using border punch on which I added diamond dust for more shine. I stamped the speech bubble using distress ink and splatted some water drops for snow effect. Then stamped the sentiment using versafine embossing ink and heat embossed it in white and fussy cut it. Added some dots using my white gel pen for more wintery effect.
Here is the Inside:  I die cut these letters and added it on the upper top corner for more fun. The sentiment is stamped in blue ink. Added the snowflake border from the snippet left from the PP. I bling it for lots of rhinestones.
I hope you enjoyed this fun creation!!
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Memories

Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a card quickly. I used Uniko Studio Challenge Anything Goes & the sketch: First time and participated there....
Here is my take on the sketch..........
I am in love with the new Gingham stamp which I recently added in my wish list! So fun to play with! I added the color using Distress Inks. So bright and gorgeous looking and warm feeling too! I stamped the gingham stamp using versamark ink on a snippet of water colored CS. Then sprinkled white opaque powder on it and heat embossed it and Voila done!!
I want to make a CAS design this time, I started with my textured white base CS and scored the lines on both of the sides.  Then I matted my own BG Panel with a pink frame and adhered it to the card base.
The rose is stamped on vellum with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white color, then colored with my Copicmarkers from the backside("The flower was in my stash from two months, finally I able to use it") . Then adhered a doily and distressed it using  my chalk powder kit. I fussy cut the rose and decided it needed a friend too, so I added a  burlap butterfly(which I won in a candy set-Thanks to Jacque). I used foam tape for dimension.
Added a banner by extended it and die cuts my letters out of pink CS, distressed the edges lightly. This time no ribbon or twine is added, so hard to see) and adhered few rhinestones, pearls and Liquid pearl at the center of flower and put some dots to create more texture!

Here is the inside:

Merry Christmas with jingle bells and a winner of my blogoversary!

Hello my blogging friends!
Hooray! Today marks the one year blogoversary! I just love this time of year! What I experience a pleasure to make the cards, It became my passion and I loved sharing my cards. I love stamping and finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.  Thanks to everyone who have left comments on my creations and chose to follow my blog. I enjoy sharing my creativity with you and I look forward to another creative year!!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Now time for the winner..........
WINNER:
Along with my little helper I've just done the raffle and she is the Lucky One: LISA, Enjoy the fun!!!
Contact at
(www.miriamscraftingblog.com/supplies) and tell her that I send you.

So Today, I have an another card to show you.
I hand drawn the image on a Snippet of pearlescent vellum sheet because I don't have any Christmas stamp and my printer is not working, very hard time. Using my embossing pen, I heat embossed the image in Primary ebony super fine Wow powder. From the backside of the image I colored it with my Copicmarkers. And sprayed some dots very lightly near the bows and pine leaves. And then trimmed the scalloped border.I embossed the one third panel of my cream colored CS using Itsy Bitsy stars folder and heat embossed some of the stars for adding texture by  Metallic gold rich pale super fine Wow powder. Adding Viva 3D paint in gold and red using wet on wet technique and sprays some splatters very lightly in gold and red as shown in the picture below. Using my transparent wonder tape I created two borders, adding copper brown  loose glitter on it  and burnish it properly.
The sentiment is from Big Holiday set by Inspired by Stamping and heat embossed in Metallic gold rich pale and primary Apple red. The banner is from Sizzix Thinlits banner and border die set and faux stitched on the banner using uniball gold pen. Then I embellished it with some jingle bells and a handmade dangler and tied it with yellow twine using an eyelet. Added a bow made of snippets left in red and golden CS with Sue Wilson filigree 3 D Itty bitty bows die. And adding the red color stickles on the cherries and gold stickles on the bells from ranger. The golden colored thin ribbon is from my stash.
 I hope you like it!

Falling snow Holiday Shaker card

Happy December everyone!
What would the holidays be without a little snow? I created  an interactive holiday shaker card with a magical falling-snow effect. I got an inspiration with this picture...
Backyard
Do you think my trees resemble what Nature left in this snowfall picture? And here is my creation.....
The background above was created with Faded Jeans, Salty ocean and Tumbled glass Distress Inks to get the night look and masking the moon. Then I hand cut a snow hill adding some texture. The winter tree is created by Dee's Distinctively IME-127 Tree Base 1 using snippets of white and dark chocolate color CS. I used my embossing pen for showing snow using Sparkly Snow Wow  Embossing powder. And the fence is created using Intricutz Die Fence from Couture Creation and cut and paste them according to my need.
This close up photo shows the  layers of snow which adds depth to the background. I added lots of sparkle and texture which is hard to see as it's difficult to get proper photos of sparkle and glitter.  I stamped the reindeer image in Black Archival ink.

I stamped the greeting from the Big Holiday set from Inspired by stamping with Opaque White Wow Embossing powder.
The shaker box has sequins, transparent sparkly stars and some jeweled stones from my stash. The colors coordinate perfectly with the background. I LOVE the silver snowflake metal embellishment with a big jeweled stone on my silver ribbon bow .
I framed the shaker box with a snippets of silver frame die cut out of two consecutive rectangle dies from Spellbinders Nestabilities-A2 Curved Matting Basics A.
I think this is a perfect shaker card to enjoy the season!

Christmas Girl

Hello Crafty Peeps!
I hope you have been having a fantastic week!
I used the Inspired by Stamping IBSIC #88 Monthly Blog Challenge as inspiration for this tag layout using all the three options!
Here is a picture of the sketch:
IBSIC-#88---TagsIBSIC-#88---SketchIBSIC-#88---Colors
Today I've creating my First ever Tag using one of this cool, sassy gal image ! Here is my creation:
The Uptown Girl is  just perfect for my friend and I just love her dress, such a pleasure to color! She is in her Christmas outfit on. I just replaced the lampshade and attached a glass in her hand and hand drawn a Christmas cap on her head by masking technique!
I used promarkers and copic markers both. Then I fussy cut out her , added some diamond stickles to her cap, heels and at the scarf. Then clear embossed the whole image for glossy shine.  I love this gal -  a traditional Christmas image but I thought this would be perfect for my 22 year old friend who loves parties and celebrations.
I recently added lots of new dies in my collection and love the new tag set. It has raised embossed panel too with two different scalloped border, love it! For creating more interest I added Texture paste on the Swiss dots and  heat embossed by adding loose glitter powder on the dots. Then distressed the edges. I used snowflake papers for the background. I punched some snowflakes, clear embossed them and added it to my banner with a double tone color twine.
I recently won a "Holiday Sentiment Stamp set" from "Inspired By Stamping", Big Thanks to Joanna! I love this big and bold sentiment:). I stamped the sentiment on a snippet vellum using wow embossing powder and heat embossed it.

I used my corner punch for the corners and my Spellbinder Rectangular dies for the base.
I wanted to keep the style cool and modern too.  I added a strip of a red ribbon for texture.
For decoration I added a few rhinestones.  I then adhered all the parts together with foam dimensional tape and finished by setting an eyelet and adding a red colored ribbon.

Supplies used:
Snippet Red CS, White Textured CS, Dotted Vellum Sheet; Pattern Paper from Daisy and Dandelion stack set
Party Flags from Joy Crafts dies: Build a Tag Two from Spellbinders, A2 curved Matting Basics A from Spellbinder Nestabilities
Girl Stamp set from W& M Clear Stamps: Sentiment from Inspired By Stamping( Holiday Set)
Wow embossing powders-Clear Gloss Ultra , Primary Apple Red Super Fine, Sparkling snow
Loose Red Glitter Powder from Itsy Bitsy,
Texture Paste, Versamark Embossing pen
Snowflake Jef Punch
Static pad
Diamond Stickle from Ranger
