Happy Birthday with Hedgehog

Hello Friends!

I am back again with a Birthday card to share with you all!  This is my DT post for Craftyscrappers!

  • Stamped the big numbers from the Simple Numbers set from CS on a Premium White CS with Versamark using Wow opaque bright white EP and heat embossed it.
  • I placed a curved border stencil from Create a scene(Sunburst set ) at the bottom and Used 2 similar shades of DI Stormy sky and broken china to create the background and at the bottom now removed the stencil and applied Crushed olive DI.
  • I flicked some water using my fingers as I wanted big splotches, dabbed off the excess water with paper towel.

  • Now I stamped the adorable hedgehog from Enjoy the Ride stamp set from CS and a trunk from the same stamp set in jet black archival ink on a watercolor sheet and colored it with using Copic markers and add detailing using a white gel pen. Fussy cut them, applied black marker at the edges after cutting.
  • Now created my foreground at the bottom by stamping some grass and mushrooms using same stamp set. Watercolored them using ZIG brushes.
  • Stamped and cut the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Doodly Blooms stamp set. Stamped the number 5th from the same set and the balloon from Hippo Wishes to You stamp set and colored them too, fussy cut them.
  • At the end created the whole birthday scene using pop dots and finished it off with some light blue color sequins from CS and added some shine using crystal stickles.

Hi to all!
Happy Friday!

I have a cute scene card with wheels in action! This is my DT post for Craftyscrappers!

  • For this card, I started with two cute hedgehog images, bicycle( 2 times and heat embossed it with clear EP for shine) and some sunflowers from Enjoy the Ride stamp set. Stamped all the images on a watercolored sheet. Coloured them using Copic markers and Zig brushes. Fussy cut all the images. Now I separated the wheels from one of the bicycle images and attached the wheels through brads on another fussy cut part.
  • Now the fun part, it is moving!!! Showcasing in a video clip.
  • On a strip of black CS, stamped the sentiment from the same set and a bird from the Hippo wishes to you stamp set and heat embossed using Opaque Bright white EP.

  • I used my leftovers from the last card to create my bottom ground. On a white curved border stamped another sentiment from the same set.
  • Using pop dots created the whole fun scene on a light green Pattern paper from my stash! And added some crystal stickles for shine at the flowers centre and placed all the layers on a white CS.

A Friendly Hello!

Hello sweet friends!

"Hello, Hello
I don't know why you say goodbye
Today I made a card for my friend with spring feel on it!
I thought this would be fun to send a card to a friend who I haven't chatted with in a while! Super easy, little tricky and to the point!

I paired my phone with this perfect Floral theme resist patterned paper which I water colored with my ZIG markers.  Using stitching hole dies created a spiral binding panel using a wire, attached to a bamboo stick through these holes. Now created a watercolor background on it with wet watercolour technique and stamped some spirals too.

A hand-drawn speech bubble saying the sentiment!
Added a solid wooden heart shaped button with fun detail to the phone using crystal clear stickles.
A little foam dots on the back of the phone pops it up with dimension.

In the end, tied a dual shade twine as an embellishment with some adhesive pearls!

Supply list:
Cardstock: Textured Cream color CS
Pattern Paper: Color Splash (Resist PP) from Recollections 6"x6"
Stamps: A friendly Hello sentiment is from Phoebe with her wagon stamp set YNS and Spiral & telephone are from Switch Board stamp and die set from Pink Paislee

Zig clean clear real brushes set of 12
Altenew ink: Midnight violet
Twine: Bright twine set from The Paper Studio

An elegant CAS card!

Hello!
Happy Saturday!

So Today I am presenting an elegant and beautiful card. Pretty simple to make. This is my DT post for Craftyscrappers!

Firstly, I die cut my panel out of a Premium White CS. From Hello stamp set I created a flourish background using my Jet black archival ink and Misti. If you don't have Misti. you just simply placed the flourish stamp on your stamping blocks and then stamp.

I die cut a curved border from a black CS as shown in the pic. Added some enamel dots in black.  Finally got this beautiful result.

Doe cut some flourish and created my own handmade foam flower using 5 petal punches. Now on a white card base at the bottom corner, I stamped the hello sentiment once again using Misti. And finished it off with some half pearls.

Hoping you all enjoyed this creation!

Have a wonderful day!

Ocean Friends!

Hello everyone!
Happy Friday!

Today I want to showcase a card for a friend inspired by a movie Jaws. Hope she will love it! This is a part of my DT post for Craftyscrappers.

I started with my Splash stencil as a background creator. Using Ocean Waves shimmer Spray on the stencil, misted with some water too and quickly placed my inked stencil upside down on a snippet of Premium white CS.

Get the awesome monochrome marble effect of splashes, love it!!!

By stamping these adorable shark images from You are so Jaw-some stamp set on a vellum sheet and heat embossed in opaque bright white EP, fussy cut them.
Die cut some inverted scalloped frames included some from white foam sheet to give some dimensions to my layers.

For the sentiment, I die cut Friend script out of a white foam sheet to make a good stack. Before I die cut my top layer, I added some sticky sheet to the paper. That way I added Sizzling Silver foil for the sentiment.

Wild and Free Mixed Media Layout!

Hello everyone!

Spring has really arrived and with it comes to a new hope and a new beginning and this is what I created! The wild plants are coming to life, filled with flowers, grass, flies and butterflies! The nature is of their utmost beauty! I love these swan dual pic so much and admire their beauty in a romantic and free mood, enjoying the nature!
The color palette I tried to keep in the hues of pink, magenta to match with my dual pics!

I started with an old piece of white cardboard......just added a coat of gesso to it using a brush as I wanted some brush strokes to create the textures. And roughly arranged all the elements and click the pic. I mounted my swan pics on a pink PP.

I applied Grainy texture paste through the stencil and for Cattails I mixed the raspberry embossing paste in grainy texture paste and then applied through the stencil. I added a little water before spriting different sprays which made it easier to spread the colors. And applied more water and sprays to my background as I desired!

Noe lots of stencilling, watercoloring, stamping, spraying done according to the scene and transformed the cardboard into a life at pond scene with flower bed and greenery all around highlighting those wild swans has no fear and enjoying every moment at the arrival of  Spring season with wild and free! It was impossible to stop and around the photo appeared a whole flower bed and a lot of  greenery, wild vegetation, dies, MDF cutout chippies, metal charms, stickers, real husk!!!
It's a mystic world of nature!

Now some close ups:

On all those MDF cutout chippies, applied Gesso first, then sprayed and highlighted with tinted metallic paints.
Added MM stones and texture sand using gel medium, love the mystic result!

I recycled this broken metal charm and I adore these incredible color changes from Little Birdie Tinted Metallics!!!

I wanted to create a bold colorful look so I built a lot of layers under my photo using some vintage ephemera tags, stickers, chippies, dies and of course some splatters around this beautiful scene!

I placed the real husk under the layers!

Love the use of feathers too:) perfectly going!

Added some stamping too for more depth and textures. They also help to create multilayering!

To finish off my layout, I added those tiles which featuring the pic beautifully- Wild and free!
