Hello everyone!
Wish You All Warmest greetings of the season and every good wishes for the coming year!
This time I wanted to make an elegant and simple card for Christmas.
I just love the crisp clean look of CAS and I try so hard to get it right, and I am happy with the end result!
My card base is Snippet of textured Whisper White. The next layer is also Snippet of Whisper White that I ran through the Big Shot with the embossing folder. Then I took a piece of Whisper White organza ribbon with silver edge and tacked the ribbon to the front of the card. And glued the piece to the card base.
I recently purchased some Christmas tree and star ornament die cuts from Itsy Bitsy and they are awesome with intricate pattern of swirls! I highlighted the tree using Diamond dust at the front side and from the back side added silver dust for the dimension to show some snow.
Adhered a snippet piece of white satin ribbon to the ornament creating a loop at the top and added a pom pom glued with diamond glitter dust.
I've added few birds sitting on a wire at the top enjoying this festive snowy season and added diamond stickles using the die as a stencil.
Here is the inside:
I partially used the happy birthday die cut and removed the birth part and butterflies from the die cut and added X-Mas word in the center and highlighted them using diamond dust. And added some border at the panel and finished it off with few silver gems.
I hope you enjoyed my X-Mas creation!
Supplies used:
Sizzix Embossing folder- Branches, swirls & ribbons set of 2
Spellbinders Birds on a Wire die
Diamond dust and silver dust from Itsy Bitsy
Diamond stickles from Ranger
Birthday die from Wild Rose Studio
Lacey Border from Joy crafts
Upper Alphabet set from Memory Box
Corner punch
