Fall blog hop!

Hello crafty folks!
Happy Friday!

Yayyy! Top pick at Mudra Stamps Challenge here!!!

This is my favorite time of the year! The cool, crisp air, colorful leaves- yellow, red, green, brown, pink to purplish, pleasant fragrance of the soil and most amazing, the festive season coming here!!!
Sigh..... What's not to love!!! What are your fall favourites?🍁🍂

You should arrive from Cut It Up Fall Blog Hop 2018

I was waiting for this fall season to play with my stamps in MM style and lots of textures, stamping, dimension, layers, chipboard elements, insects, birds...... what not!!!

I created my own background pattern in fall colors with the mixing of smaller stamps on a stitched panel and then die cut the bottom panel using stitched basic edges.
I stamped a border in dual colors and die cut it using same stitched basic edges.

Stamped some mogra flowers 3 times and give them a soft pastels look using zig brushes.
Die cut some leaves in different colors. Using dye inks turned out my cheesecloth piece in fall colors.

Embossed my leaves chippies and a butterfly in the dual shade.
Stamped the sentiment on a black strip and heat embossed it.

Now time to create the design! I adhered my background panel on a white card base and white edged border using double adhesive tape and adhered the stamped border between them.

At the centre panel adhered the cheesecloth with a leafy circle chippie. Layered all the stamped flowers and leaves using foam dots.

The owl is created using a mould. And colored with different chalk paints and highlighted the textures with Inka gold. I applied Inka Gold to my leaves, leafy circle, butterfly and stones too.
In the end, finished it off with a half adhesive pearl and some clear crystal drops.
Love the layers and dimension on it! Hope you enjoyed this fall inspired project!!!

Button up card with Washi tapes!!

Hello friends!
Happy Thursday!

This time I have fun stuff to share with you!
I have created a card first time using Washi tapes!
I find that Washi Tape is a nice and an easy way to dress up your paper crafting projects.

Here I used a sparkly spotted black colored washi tape to create some rows at the bottom corner and buttons from colourful dotted and gingham fabric washi tapes.

I die cut those buttons, added a layer of white foam button to them. Stitched the holes with a thread and adhered them with a smiley flower button. Added some green leaves to make them more realistic.

Then I die cut a swirly butterfly and inked it as shown in the pic. Now pricked those die cut pieces.

And Do you know the sentiment is handwritten using black Enamel Accents with silhouette droplets!

Adhered that panel to my card base and dressed it up with some tiny sequins.
Hoping you enjoyed this fun project!

Supply List

Live the life you love!

Hello friends!

Today's project is inspired by a fabulous sketch!

I started with the Mandala stencil on my card. I don't want to waste the ink which left over for the last card I created.
In this technique, I just sprayed some water using a mist bottle on the stencil which already inked (used for my first card) and quickly placed the stencil, took the pattern on another piece of white CS. Removed the stencil and I got my new pattern without wasting my ink.
You can keep the pattern same if you want to decorate it but I added a further step on it.
Here are the pics of procedure to understand:

I took my same stencil and placed carefully where I got these inked patterns and covered all around the edges with masking tape again.

Now I added Distress black soot ink to fill those empty space to fill. You can see how the colors are more intense!

I converted this background pattern into a mixed media shaker card with the theme "Live the life you love!" I am in love with the new Blooming Beauty critter sheet, so pretty!!!

So I used this motif as a focal point with shaker elements and some embellishments using critter sheet florals to highlight this wonderful Blooming girl!
I fussy cut the beautiful lady, floral patterns along with a pair of shoes with text sentiment banner too from the critter sheets. Then I applied a thin line of clear crystal drops carefully on all the fussy cut-outs and embellishments.
Die cut rangoli frame out of the white sheet and white foam sheets, made a thick stack of them to move around my shaker elements easily.
I gave a watercolor wash effect to my duo die cut leaves.
Now adhered that stack of rangoli frame with acetate on it. In the window, ice glitter candy is poured and sprinkled some colorful confetti in it, so shimmery and shiny:)D.
Now created the whole scene with all the elements I put in. As the final step, I adhered a metal leaf and flower charm too and added clear crystal glitter to other pretty embellishments clustered around the frame.

Thank you so much for stopping by; I hope you enjoyed the project!

Mandala Elegance stencil card!

Hey everyone!

Lots of amazing NEW products to be having fun with and I have some new oxide inks in the house! I had a lot of fun with my new stencil as my DT post inspirations!
A good combination for sure as the oxide inks blend so very well. The stencils are the focus on Today's cards.
The other card is on the next post.

I have two techniques to share with you using the same Mandala stencil!!
First, create your own patterned paper with stencils.

Card#1

Here are a few steps for how I created my background.
I used the 8"x8" stencil to create my own background. Placed my mandala stencil on a whits CS. Then I used oxide inks with a finger dauber for each color to create the pattern and masked the white CS around the edges. I started at the centre of the pattern in a circular motion and added the color through the stencil using DO.
Once I had added all of the colors I removed the stencil carefully.

I didn't want to take anything away from the background, so to finish my first card I added a bold die cut word out of black CS with a sentiment strip from the Blooming Beauty critter sheet and some die cut hearts.

I added some clear crystal drops to allow the color shine through the sentiment.

Supply List
Cardstocks: White CS 300 gsm, black CS
Critter sheets: Blooming Beauty from DCAM
Stencils: Mandala elegance from DCAM
Dies: scalloped Rectangles from DCAM; Believe word from Winnie&Walter, Hearts from Lawn Fawn
Distress oxides: squeezed lemonade, wilted violet, picked raspberry, mermaid lagoon, twisted citron

Ganesha Treat pillow box

Hello friends!
Happy weekend!

Pillow Boxes are a fun and easy way to create goodie bags with any theme you'd like. Easily personalized and loved by all recipients, consider creating some little goodies to share with family, kids and friends!

So for my DT project today at Cut It Up Challenge Blog with a theme Boxes or Bags. I made a sweet treat pillow box and decorated it with a festive theme with all kinds of coming Diwali festive goodies to give them to kids as a gift goodie.
The image is a cute Lord Ganesha. I made this pillow box from Kraft cardstock. Then some polka dot stamping randomly.

On a layer of PP band, I added lace die cut both sides and added the image with some circle chippies for chakras impact. Tied it with a colorful moli string included Happy sentiment chip tag and a button too.

An elegant wedding window card!

Hello to all!
Good Morning!

Today, I wanted to showcase something special for the newlywed's couple as my DT post for DCAM!
I experimented with several different versions, stretching my dies in a new way, so many fussy cut elements. The Diya die is so versatile, beautiful and intricate with so many beautiful elements to decorate!

This elegant and pretty wedding card is a result of the latest September release at DCAM! When I received Wedding Celebrations Critter sheet in my DT kit, I fall in love with the stuff, color combinations, flowers, couples, hearts, gifts,  so many cute elements in this critter sheet!!! And I have paired all my fussy cut elements with a hint of gold with lots of delicate layers and dimension!
Hoping I succeeded with this pretty bride and groom with the wedding stage!

And some pics to make you clear how I created my base using scalloped Rectangle die to create the window part as shown in the pic below. My card base is 400 gsm in white so it cut only the upper part of the card base.

I pasted the inner die cut part at the back side of the card.

I used the Diya die cut elements to create my curtain panel border at the top. I created the curtains too using the same die. I fussy cut lot of elements from the critter sheet.

After die cutting my window I created a stencilling panel using box maze 2 steps stencil to enhance the beauty of this project with a hint of gold glittery squares using white embossing paste and glitter paste as shown in the pic.

Now some more clear pics with all dimensions and layers!

Here is the inside view of the window panel with curtain decoration.

There is a short video:
