Christmas Holder Gift Box

 Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

For today's project, I made a gift box for a friend using the Index Card folder die!

The top feature is a cute snowman image using a postcard rectangle die on a belly band and watercolored it.

Added a glittered merry sentiment with shadow in blue and some glittered snowflakes too. Embellished it with half adhesive pearls.

Inside I placed a pen and sticky notepad.

Have fun! Happy crafting!

Summer blooms!

Hello friends!

Happy Monday!

Today I have a card using the Itsy Bitsy stamp set called- Rosy garden. I absolutely love this beautiful set and stamp multi-layered blooms. I used Misti for this project, it made layered stamping easy to line up everything!

I used Altenew inks to create this card. Such incredibly realistic results!

Fussy cut all the blooms and leaves.

I made my slimline card base out of white CS and created a scalloped window to frame the florals. Die-cut some double-stitched circle frames and added a pattern paper layer. I used foam tape for dimension and interest.

Arranged all the blooms and leaves with some dimensions. Added a sentiment.

Finished it off with some water droplets! Really pretty and graphic but still romantic!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Happy crafting!

Live Love Laugh

 Hello, crafty people!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I created a floral image card with an encouraging sentiment to celebrate Mother's Day!.

The floral image is from Mudra Stamps and I watercoloured it! I continue to improve my watercolour skills.

I stamped the image in Tattered rose DI. I stamped this image on a Canson cold-pressed watercolor paper which has a texture that makes a painting on it easy. Then outlined the image lightly in the desired colour with my water brushes. Colouring was done with ZIG water brushes. I started watercoloring with light layers of colour and slowly added more layers.

I added a light yellow shade along with the floral and leaves outlines and then loosely watercoloured the background in soft rainbow colours.

Added some white splatters. In the end, added a sentiment and lightly added a layer of perfect pearls with a dry brush for more interest and shine in person. And mounted my panel on a purple colour card base.

I am happy with how it turned out!

Hope this card has brightened your day!

A splash of purple over black and white!

 Hello!

I have tried something different this time.

This is my DT post for Cut It Up Challenges with a theme of black and white with a pop of colour!

I pick purple as an accent colour!

I used Daisy and swirl embossed background and slightly touch up the centre of flowers with DI.

Die-cut and intricate and gorgeous butterfly in purple glitter CS.

Added some fancy borders at the top of my card in black and white with a sentiment on it. In the end for a more feminine look added a pretty dotted shimmery ribbon with a bow. Embellished the flower centre with some white pearls.

I am pleased with the overall design of my card!

Happy crafting!
