The Adventure Begins!

 Hello to all!

Happy Saturday!

A Masculine theme card with a nautical version!

The background is created by a Gelli plate, distress inks and a brayer on a watercoloured panel.

Added some water droplets to look more realistic for a cloudy sky and ocean scene. It is the first time I used the Gelli plate and love the results, made work more interesting with textures.

Now I used a sea waves stencil and applied an embossing pad using sponge dauber and heat embossed using Midnight dreams glitter powder for texture and giving a nice amount of movement!

Using Opaque bright white EP stamped the ship image. Added some seagulls because no trip to the ocean is complete without them flying by! Adhered the panel to a white panel. Tied a jute twine.

Now die cut some bamboo sticks, some seaweeds out of vellum sheets, navy blue CS, light blue CS and a Lighthouse, a ship wheel.  First I adhered silver coloured metal net and added all the elements along with a sentiment.

Believe!

Hello all!

Good Afternoon!

I created a serene scene with pretty calm Buddha emerging through the foliage. The set is called Inner peace with different images of Buddha.

First I stamped the image in ultra slow dry embossing ink pad and spread the nice ice blue glitter, heat embossed it. I wanted a cool and peaceful feeling, so I colored my image with different shades of blue DI. Fussy cut it.

Next on a stitched white rectangle panel I created dry embossed stitched circles to create a Chakra pattern for my Buddha image.

Die-cut a stitched circle in navy blue and added to the largest circle one. Added this panel to my light blue card base. On a snippet of white strip panel, I applied some embossing ink and heat embossed it with Metalline dark blue EP first and then spread one more layer of ice blue glitter powder for the subtle look and die cut some foliage leaves.

Finally, the foliage leaves associated with the cool Buddha image with some dimensions and depth. Added a Believe word and coated with glossy accents to pop it out.

In the end, finished it off with some cool blue enamel dots.

I hope I manage to bring a little serenity to your day!

Happy crafting!

Spring is here!

 Hello friends!

I am back with this fortnight inspiration, are you ready!

So I made a card on the theme "How's the weather" for my DT project! You will therefore have to put at least one weather-related elements on your creation........... like sun, wind, cloud, rain, rainbow, umbrella, flowers....... or all at the same time...... it's up to you to choose your climate conditions,

As far as I'm concerned, it's blue sky, bright sun and fine weather cloud.......... and created a piece of sky tag using ducks with a daisy flower, and swirly background with some daisy flowers.

I used Tim Holtz brayer first time on my Embossed panel without any spot and love the ending result!

I went with no line coloring and I love how it turned out. Fussy cut my image. I used my pencils to color the cute ducks' image.

I used a curved tag for the vertical element, a sun and some clouds with a Hello spring sentiment. I used some distress inks to create my background on the tag and added some hand-drawn grasses and flowers. And embellished it with some sequins.

And there you have it!
So what is the weather like in your house, fine weather or stormy!

Happy crafting!
