Congratulation Graduates!!!

Hi Friends!
Have a great day!
It is very hot in Delhi. The current temperature is 43 degree Celsius. This time, I made a congrats card for graduates.
I made a double Gate fold card. Firstly I decided to make a felt finger puppet owl using felt and attached a graduation hat with diploma degree, distressed the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink (new). Then I tied a star printed red satin ribbon to the degree. Now , the owl finger puppet is ready......Isn't it looking cool for graduates:). It is removable because attached by adhesive foam to give 3 D look. Then I selected a red CS for the base and PP from DCWV 12x12 stack.
The banner die is from Tim Holtz Bigz Die Regal crest and heat embossed the edges using Wow primary Ebony super fine embossing powder. The stars(black glittered foam sheet) are from A1 craft supply Thin-lets star die cut set and I used School memories Set from Prima Marketing.

When the gate fold will open another card adhered on it. The Sentiment is handwritten and the image is hand drawn too!!! I used Camel watercolours and Sakura Glittered  Pens to give sparkly effect.
Look at the inside view for the cheery sentiment......
Its a cool sentiment written with grey and black effect. I added a book stamp on a black glittered panel and coloured them using Sakura Glittered pens.

I also added a grosgrain red ribbon with a yellow star button on it and a red button on the hat with a tassel. I think it's a superb card for Graduates and am very happy to see the results!!!
I would like to enter my card in following challenges: chose red and yellow colour for this card because I wanted to use some bright colours to wish graduates for their bright future) -Die cuts+Heat embossing+2 word sentiment on the focal point) - for my daughter who just recently graduated! the star print red ribbon is  17 years old

Love U Kids

Hi Friends!!!

Sorry for the late network link was not working due to bad weather here in Delhi and I lost the connections .
This time I'm participating for a Grand Prize Winners Challenge at Scrapping 4 Fun Challenge. The challenge is based on the sketch below. The entry with the most votes will win. Voting is open till 9th of June @ 23:55pm European Time. So I request all my Friends, Followers, Bloggers....... Kindly vote for me by going to blog and fb page. To vote just leave a comment on this post mentioning my number '13-VINITA'
Rachelle asked us to create a card/ layout/ canvas. So as soon as I saw the sketch I created a Scrapbook Layout for the very FIRST TIME.
And so I did!!! At the same time, I have a chance to win 3 sets of Pion Paper! So it's a win - win situation for me!!! Whatever the outcome, I end up with a super nice and colourful layout of my kids who are totally enjoying the birthday party of my niece in this picture.
I chose blue background and I also wanted the LO to be light-hearted and fun.and very importantly the "feel" of the photo. Next I went through the collections and chose the PP from DCWV. And the flower printed PP is embossed using Love Heart Embossing Folder from Itsy Bitsy and I distressed the edges.
The bunting I created using Jef tile punch and added colourful hearts and tied it with a baker twine. I draped the bunting across the page to bring focus to the photo.
Among other materials, I used some doilies from Spellbinder Shapeability Floral Doily, Fabric floral tape, chipboard, laces, epoxy sticker "You are cherished", numbering stamp from lyric collection & thinking of you stamp from inspired by stamping Wish Big II and my own handmade crochet flowers with blue ribbon around it.

I tore a paper from a calendar and added some mists on and around the photo. I used a beautiful flower corner too.  <3 U KIDS is the main Title and Letter U is heat embossed. I put a key with a gem stone on it.
And I am so glad to see the result and satisfied with my 1st Layout.

Now I am entering my LO in following challenges:

F-flower, L-laces, O-one photo, W-white, E-epoxy sticker, R-ribbon, S-stamping

Wall Hanging Beauty

Hello Crafters !
Happy Weekend
This time, I created a new project - a beautiful "Wall Hanging" for someone special and my daughter also helped me to create this beauty!
I needed base for the wall hanging, so I used a CD (earth friendly/recycle) and some card stocks. I stamped the "Birth of star" from Sweet Pea Stamps( won from Holley giveaway) image twice for decoupage onto the white CS, colored with my black promarker and blender. I used a Sakura glitter gel pen for her hair. For the glamorous dress I applied diamond dust on it. For the wings I heat embossed using Wow embossing powders( black, white, and golden glitter) and also applied glossy accents (new) on her wings. And I pasted a paper napkin on the moon and sprinkled golden glitter dust on it. Isn't she a  beautiful fairy....
I used CD as a sky background for the birth of star. I cut a circle from Summer Bloom PP( i think it matched perfectly) to cover my front and a pastel pink to cover from back. Then I added some circles using Balloon punch to make a scalloped shape. The star is from thin let die cut using a glitter blue origami sheet which I adhered  on to the CD.
I used a Floral doily motifs (Spellbinder nestabilities) and lots of Jef Punches to make several flowers of pastel colours  using Versamark inks and tumbled Glass Distress ink. And on the doily motif, I heat embossed it using pink glitter embossing powder. I added a Fence die using Lemon Flower Mat stack PP. The flourishes I used are - pretty green lace, a lime green ribbon(new), a green button( from Little Birdies pack), a pink gem ring on the bow, some rhinestones , pearls, silk weaved rings, a sparkly butterfly.

I added a tag at the upper left side corner using pink glittered corrugated sheet with a 'memories' sentiment sticker on it and added a 'star" charm using baby pink baker twine to make it special.
The sentiment is free and colored printable The shape is hand cut  and the edges are heat embossed using opaque pink glitter powder.
To put all the wall hanging pieces together, I used a pink wool and added some big beads, silver rings, pearls and added a baker twine to make the loop and glued all the pieces together on it.
I love the way it came together and I am sure that it will brighten up someone special's wall !!!

I would like to enter my wall hanging craft project into following challenges: ---Favourite colour combo is pink and green -Corrugated sheet striped -All crackled up and shimmery tutorial inspiration(I used this technique in making the moon on my stamped image) -Inspiration 2 Memories -Flowers+diecuts+ribbon -S for special person -I always choose a different style as I am a crafter, so depend on the theme and this time the favorite stash is CD

Happy Mother's Day

Hey everybody!
I wish you all a very Happy Mother's Day in advance!!!

I have an exciting news here..... I was invited as a GD this week for Scrapping 4 Fun challenges and I feel honored as well. The challenge there this week is" Happy mother's Day". People all over the world celebrate this special day to show their mothers what they really mean to them and how important it is  to have their shadow on us.This is the time to show what we have for our mother; pure love, extreme care, great respect, high gratitude, true affection and so much more. nobody can fill up the gap or replace a mother, The ultimate shelter and the great protector without whom we could not crawl, move, stand and walk. So, this card is dedicated to my mom who made me learn what was good or bad. Your loving nature and your delicate words are always a source of inspiration.
So guys make sure you make this day a 'her' day!!!

Here is my card:

I used an adorable "mother and a baby hug" image which I downloaded for free
( don't remember from where). Such a touching image. I wanted to give this image a soft look and colored it with my promarkers. I decoupaged the image to give it dimension and added golden stickles in her hair.

The frame is cut from Spellbinder Shapeabilities Just Swingin'. This card has a lots of layers. The scripted pattern paper is from DCWV Recollections 12x12 stack pad and rest of the floral PP is from my stash.
The sentiment is free which I think is perfect for this image.

I made my own fancy embellishments . Rose flowers are made of by 6 petal Jef punches and heat embossed using silver bell and nice ice blue Wow embossing powders and I made two curled swirls using metal wire. Then glitter and pearls were added on it.
I added a pearl string with a heart banner and charms to make it classy and add glamor. Also I did some faux stitching on the oval die cut. I  used scrappin gear blue chalk set at the edges of the papers. I used a Jef corner punch too, I finished off my card with a white lace, blue stripped ribbon with a bow, silver circles, butterfly. The leaves are a die cut -anja leaf from Marianne Creatables.
Look at the inside view:
The sentiment is free from mothersday2014digiditto-Isn't it beautiful. I highlighted it with Sakura turquoise glittered gel pen.
