Beautiful Blooms III meet Dot Coloring Technique

 Hello to all!

Happy Friday!

Uniko stamps are celebrating their 10th Birthday this whole month.

And Today I am CASEing one of the cards by its owner and talented designer Beverley Brown using the Dot coloring technique inspired by such an amazing crafter Jennifer Mcguire!

So here is my card for Today.......

I love this technique from my old days as I played this fun technique on my school projects.
The touching of different alcohol markers using dots without any coloring made it so unique around the stamped florals.
Here is Bev's card I CASE'd. I was inspired by her rainbow color palette around the image. You can visit her page here.

I started by die cutting a double stitched panel and stamped the outlined florals first using my Misti in Jet black ink. Then stamped the detailing inside using blue, yellow, pink, red, green as my color palette.

Then added dots around the outlined images and on detailing lines inside using various alcohol markers, this makes the image pop.

Stippling with alcohol markers is very relaxing and easy to do with results that I think are pretty pleasing. You can see the stipples in different colors that radiate out to thinner consistency then fade into white. The sentiment is from another set and I fussy cut and popped it using foam tape.

Lots of good crafting vibes are headed your way!

Birthday wishes in pink!

Hello friends!

Happy Friday!

I came up with a pink theme card for the Birthday celebration! Tried to be CAS here!

I used a beautiful stencil from Uniko adding three various shades of pink on a dotted rectangle panel.

I love the size of this beautiful bloom.

I like the idea in my head of layering in the centre of the card, added dimensions to my card with a spotlight of the flower.
Die-cut a fern branch in the snippets of black and baby pink Cs and adhered only the leaved part on the black one.

Popped up the vase with a fern stem on the centre panel.

The sentiment is also from another Uniko stamp set and added the whole panel to the black card base.

An inside look:

I think the vase really added interest to the background, what do you think?

Happy crafting!

Birthday Wishes!

 Hello!

Happy Saturday!

Each day with new blooms ready to reveal themselves.

I just love the Beautiful Blooms II set with some solid images and some are outlined to ink:)

Firstly I die cut a frame in white CS. Then I inked the background of my slimline card as I wanted to peek out the soft color from behind the pretty die with an oval frame with good coverage and stamp the sentiment.

Using the Altenew inks I stamped the flowers and leaves. Die-cut some different foliage out of the snippets of white CS and watercolored them too.

And now time to decorate. I stamped the sentiment on the oval frame and made a pretty arrangement of flowers and leaves with dimension.
Stamped some dots in black and added some rhinestones on the flower to sparkle more with some black dots on the flower.

I think the recipient will know how much more care with a handmade card with Birthday wishes!
Have a good day!
