Happy Birthday in CAS style!

Hello everyone!
Happy Monday!

Hexagons have been trendy for a few years and I paired them with a flower and a vellum butterfly........a pretty combination!

Happy news!!!
In Top Picks at
http://happylittlestampers.blogspot.com/2018/07/winners-june-challenges.html

Have you seen the hexagon background on this? I heat embossed these hexagons on a white panel with Opaque bright white, spritzed some water on it and using Zig watercolor brushes highlighted them.

Now die cut a Hexagon window, On the white card base I trace the hexagon with a pencil where I wanted the window and directly applied Zig markers to my flower stamp, spritzed some water and stamped directly. Added some pink dots inside for more texture. Love you is a handwritten sentiment with a pink pen. Don't forget to erase the traced hexagon.

The butterfly is heat embossed using black ebony EP on a piece of vellum, fussy cut it and colored it from the back side. Stamped the Birthday sentiment and added some hearts with tiny splatters.
Now adhered the focal panel using double foam tape for dimension on the stamped panel.

An inside matching view:
I used that Die cut Hexagon and stamped those butterflies using Zig brushes directly.

Well, that's all for me today! Hope you love my project!

Love how you have incorporated all the elements of the butterfly wheel both inside and outside of this card. The hexagon cut out is so pretty the way you have recessed the flower design. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me . Hugs Mrs A.

Wow, really love the hexagon window with all the beautiful embossing, color smudging and splattering...and an extra plus carrying through with the theme on the inside...beautiful card. As information, you can share this card with Double Trouble theme "Not to use patterned/design papers" for the next couple weeks, and if you add a machine die, you can pair up with Three Amigos. The information and link is included in Three Amigos post...would love you to share with us at Double Trouble and you are eligible for another random draw and a second chance if in both challenges.
