Altered MDF name letters!

Hello, everyone!
Happy Friday!

It is such a pleasure moment when you featured on a wonderful platform, Thank you so much Itsy Bitsy for recognising my work!!! Here is the link: Itsy Bitsy

I have another fun project to share with you guys! I altered some name letters for gifting! Isn't it looking great in blue! And I have so much fun altered these letters for a boy and it's really tough to create for a dude without flowers, lace (lol) and I can't wait for this special  gift to get his hands on it and decor his wall! I hope he will love it!
Here are some pics:

Method:
1. Take MDF name letters and gave them a thin coat of gesso for the front and heavy gesso for the back. Let them dry properly.

2.  Traced the letters on Pattern papers and cut them out. Paste them using Mod Podge. Apply Moda acrylic paint- Tempest grey at all the edges of the letters.
3. Now before start embellishing them, collect all the materials according to your imagination. As I am making this for an 11-year boy and who love roaming around, cycling etc, So I selected blue colour theme papers, some travel theme chipboards, rub on, some cogs, 3 D stickers and metal charms.

4. On letter V, Adhered an MDF sentiment in Chocolate paint colour and embellished it with the travel chipboards.

5. Letter A is embellished with school fun, so I attached a magnetic chalkboard with a cool rub on and a red felt fence which is precut.

6.  For letter S, Die cut some leaves from green coloured jute sheet. Applied some Inka gold on a chipboard tree and glue these leaves. The bicycle is also burnished using Inka gold with bumpy road rub on sentiment and brown coloured zig zag bumps. And there is a fun 3D sentiment too.

7. First I applied embossing paste using a stencil and highlighted with grey acrylic paint and then Decorated the letter U with lots of cogs chipboard which is also burnished using Inka gold , a chipboard sentiment tied with a jute cord, a cute photo frame sticker to stick the photo, a rub on sentiment placed on a die cut circle and a fun part is that there are some metal charms attached with a chain to a ring for a funky look!
8. Now collected all the letters and tied them with a natural jute rope.
You can assemble the decorated letters using chain, ropes, ribbons, jump rings, according to your requirement!
Hope you all enjoyed this project!

Watercolor magic with gold!

Hello, friends!
Happy Tuesday!

To make this card, I started up with the beautiful Australian orchid usingVersamark ink on a watercolored paper, heat embossed it and watercolored it with my Zig real brushes.

I went around the whole outer edges of the image with a very light blue and pink colour with faded look to pop up the whole image with more depth and fussy cut it.

The background strip is a watercolored piece to create more interest and before drying it I applied bronze Perfect pearls on it with my water brush. Then I ripped the top edge for a little bit more pizazz. And heat embossed the sentiment! I die cut a doily and adhered it to my main panel. Embellished it with some gold & copper colour sequins and a musical washi note!

It just a fun to create a CAS card with the cool gold effect! Hope you guys like it!

Supplies used:
White coloured CS
Stamps: Australian Nature I and Big Wishes II from Inspired By Stamping stamps
Die: Crochet Doily from Prima Dies
Embossing Powder: Wow Metallic Gold Rich Pale from Itsy Bitsy

Mixed Media in Ombre Dreams!

Hello, everyone!
Good Afternoon!

This time I am sharing a Mixed Media Canvas Layout.
I am so impressed and excited to participate in More Than World Challenge where the
 Word Inspiration - CHANGE
Creative Challenge - OMBRE and also joining in The Hop to Stop, raising awareness for victims of domestic violence hosted by Becca Cruger

"Colours are the greatest medium for the expression of feelings. The Purple and Pink Ombre hue are to signify the positive vibes, the dreams and life itself. My motto is to live life simply with happiness and positive energy.
Change is a vital part of life but family is one thing constant in life. The Mumma bird and her kids depict the joy of living together! A love that never changed! Happy Happy!!!"

Of course, it needed to colours come alive and Color Bursts were just the things! Love the flow of colours on this LO!

Firstly, I gave my canvas a coat of thick gesso and from all sides too. Now mist the canvas with water and sprinkle a few colour bursts powder to create my background and used a baby wipe to create a pattern at the bottom. Some stamping to create  floral BG and created some stems using Gelatos. I have chosen a gorgeous purple watercolour PP which perfectly match for the LO, you can clearly see in the pic!
Now roughly created the pattern on my canvas.

This cute Bird Family chippie is heavy gesso first , coloured them with gelatos and applied sparkle dots on the branch.

The purple flowers are handmade using Heartfelt creations die with foam and papers, Aren't they gorgeous! And combined with some Prima flowers too.

See the gloss on the Life quote using clear embossing powder and Love the opal Magic acrylic paint for this gorgeous metal butterfly!

MDH Alphabets name wall hanging!

Hello friends!
Good evening!

Today I am sharing a beautiful MDF name plaque in pastel colors which can be decorated anywhere! And I made this for my Daughter's friend to gift her!!!

First of all, I stamped a gorgeous Valentina girl, paper pieced her dress, colored her with Copic markers.

Now I cut all the letters from  a gorgeous DCWV paper stack and applied it with mod podge on all MDF letters. Created the whole in all the letters and tied them all with a gorgeous green ribbon. Now time to decorate them all.
On Letter N, I adhered the  Valentina image with a cute purse and a friend sentiment.
At the centre edge of letter E, I adhered a doily on it and decorated it with a bunch of foam flowers and a ribbon. Now tied a love epoxy sentiment with a twine and also embellished it with a gorgeous butterfly and a crochet flower.
I decorated the letter H from loads of buttons and a cute bow, Shw loved buttons:)
