2 of us in Mixed media style!

Hello to all!
Happy last day of the year! Good Bye 2017!

Today I want to share a romantic style LO in MM style with a theme "US"!

I had fun experimenting with rose stencil one to focus on the couple with romantic mood. I think this is perfect for the theme because roses represent the symbol of love, romantic feelings!

And do you know that
A Lavender rose like color conveys enchantment. It also expresses "love at first sight". Darker shades of lavender roses (close to purple) convey a sense of regal majesty and splendour. These roses are used to express fascination and adoration, so I interpret my theme title "2 of us" with the purple rose background!

This is the part of my DT post for Expressions Craft Stamps too!

Process with close up pics

1. What I did, First I used my purple color gelato and mixed it with Transparent gloss texture paste in different tones from light to darkest, as shown in the pic.

2. Using roses stencil I carefully created the rose background on my texture white sheet and keep it aside to let it dry thoroughly or if you are impatient, you can heat embossed it. Because of the transparency, the line texture appears so clearly with it. Now I added leaves to my roses with green glitter paste. Some of the mixed paste was left so without wasting it, I  randomly applied it using my palette knife from top to bottom as shown in the pic.

3. Using 2 shades of blue color tones gelato I mixed it in water and color the leftover white part lightly.
4. On the designer oval frame, I first colored it with black chalk paint and then applied different shades of Opal magic art medium.

5. I covered the couple chippie piece in yellow chalk paint and the flag banner with quotation 2 of us with black and highlighted with opal magic acrylic paint.

6. Now added the crochet lace and a die cut Victorian lace in black color.
7. Now embellished it with a lot of flowers, stickers, charms and I added my own handmade circle leaves in wire too.

8. In the last, I added that banner with a brad and a hanging charm and a metal butterfly

and highlighted them too. Added Just us chit chat stickers in black with some crystal gems and lots of tiny thermocol balls in white for more textures and some splatters.

I hope you all enjoyed this MM card with lots of textures and fun!!!!

Let's Party!

Hello friends!
Happy Friday!

Today's post is showcasing all about Birthday Celebration elements in Hexagon style with acetate window peaking a Birthday cake inside.

First of all, I die cuts lots of Hexagon shapes in two sizes. Using my Misti I stamped all the tiny images together at a time:) work made easy and fast! Heat embossed them all. Using Distress inks I gave them an ombre effect in the centre to highlight the details of the images clearly.

Placed them up all to create a background with all Party elements but don't paste them! Took a picture of it with my cell phone (I found that no matter how hard you try to make an order when it comes to trimming with scissors, it's easy to get into a mess).

I die cut an another Hexagon from out of my front card base and placed an acetate sheet on it. And overlapped with one more window hexagon.

Now I popped them up all to create a colorful and dimensional background and trimmed them with my scissors from all the edges. Die cut Let's Party sentiment out of glitter and white foam sheet and placed them on my base card.

The Birthday cake peeking from the inside is stamped on a black color hexagon, using the cutout front as my guide and heat embossed the image Now highlighted the embossing image using my Pigma Brush pens, how pretty effect:)
On another white CS, I distressed it from all the sides using picked Raspberry ink. Stamped the banner at the top, sentiment too from the same set and heat embossed them. On a white strip, stamped another sentiment too and heat embossed it. Cut out two strips the golden glitter color foam sheet. Now place all the elements on my card using pop dots!

Supply List:

Cardstocks: Textured white heavy CS, Black CS, Golden glitter foam sheet
Stamp: Happy B'day from Expressions Craft Stamps
Dies: Rectangles from Tattered Lace; Stitched Hexagons from Gina Marie Designs; Let's Party from Sizzix Sizzlits
Distress inks: Faded jeans, tumbled glass, tattered rose, picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, twisted citron, ground espresso
Embossing Powders: Metallic Gold Sparkle Glitter and Primary Fuchsia Fusion from Wow
Versamark Watermark stamp pad; Rounded Blender
Pigma Brush Pens: Red, pink, yellow, blue,
Misti; Glossy Accents
Tonic Trimmer; Pop foam dots

That's it for me today, hope you enjoyed this creation!

Would love to enter my card into the following Challenges:

Pink Roses

Hello friends!

Today I am sharing a card in all pink hues which I made for a friend and she loves roses in pink!
This is a part of my DT post for Expressions Craft Stamps.

I began with a white panel, I placed the floral stencil and applied the DI.
Roses stencil is so versatile, you can create so many designs with it. Here I created my own Pink roses using Zig watercolor brushes in soft hues to match my BG and fussy cut them. And applied crystal clear Nuvo drops with my brush for a little sparkle. You can see the shimmer in the pic below.

Stamp the sentiment in pink. Now I placed the stencil BG on a pink panel.  Using double running Stitch Rectangle die cut a textured white panel and adhered that pink panel on it and then to the card base. Added a grey color lace with a gorgeous ribbon and twine with a bow. Placed those roses using pop dots. Finished it off with some sequins and splatters.

 Supplies used:
Cardstock: Textured white, whisper white and Raspberry CS
Stencils: Floral and roses from Expressions Craft Stamps
Die: Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Dies from Stamplorations
Zig Clean Color Real Brushes
Nuvo Crystal drops- White Bizzard
Sequins, dual shade twine and soft baby pink ribbon are from my stash

Cheerful Christmas trees!

Hello to all crafty people!
Hoping you all enjoyed the Christmas festival very much!

Today, I am showcasing a fun and cheerful card with a very simple technique! This is part of my DT project for Expressions Craft Stamps!

For this card, I die cut some triangles and using the waves stencil, I created the soft neon colorful waves pattern on them. Before drying quickly applied crystal clear powder directly.
On my black card base, I stencil the Merry Christmas word using Silver Glitter Paste and some stars to create the sky. Now using pop dots I adhered all the triangles as Christmas tree.......so easy-peasy:)
Cool stencil technique with glitter paste, right!

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Black CS, white CS
Die: Nesting dies Bunting (Triangle) from Xcut
Stencils: Waves and Merry Christmas  from Expressions Craft Stamps
Radiant Neon Pigment Inks: Cool and Warm colors (set of four) from TSUKINEKO
Glitter Paste: Silver color from Bo Bunny

Hello everyone!

Merry Christmas to all my International friends!

Only two days left before Christmas. I created a trio of ornaments in festive and sparkling colors.

I started with a red CS and die cut my trio of ornaments as shown in the pic, so the upper part of the die will not cut and remained in it only.

Now another from a textured cream CS and applied silver glitter paste through a stencil to create my winter snowfall background.

Die cut the sentiment from a silver glitter foam sheet. And adhered all the panels on my card base with 3 D look ornaments. Added some pine boughs and a cute plaid bow!

Supplies used:
Cardstocks: Red and Green CS and Cream colored textured sheet, silver glitter foam sheet

Coloring with Bleach!

Hello to all!
Happy Thursday!

Today I want to show a card using Bleach technique which I attempted the first time and I really enjoyed it! So many possibilities are there!
This a part of my DT post for peek-a-boo designs.

Coloring with bleach

This is my take on this beautiful theme and given sketch!

I went with monochromatic look of red using DI and stamped one of the flowers from floral directions set using Misti and heat embossed them with Metallic gold sparkle. I put my bleach in a lid and painted only the floral part using my brush. And it turned into soft white and pink shade.
So pretty, love the results.
Using a gold glitter sheet I die cut the sentiment Cherish and die cut a thin strip too.
For Every moment sentiment, I masked the sentiment and stamped only every moment text and heat embossed it with Metallic gold sparkle again. Added an arrow brad for directions and create more interest and it can move easily in all direction!

Supply used:

Cardstocks: Textured whisper white CS, Rich red CS, golden glitter sheet
Stamps: Floral Directions, Sunshine stamp set from Peek-a-boo Designs
Dies: Dual stitched Rounded Rectangle, Dual Stitched Circle, Word sentiment: Cherish from Peek-a-boo designs
Distress inks: Fired Brick and Candied Apple
Wow embossing powders: Metallic Gold Sparkle

New Mommy to be!

Hello Crafty Peeps!
Hope you all are enjoying your day!

Don't you love this cute girl?
I made this card for a new Mommy to be and matched her with the gorgeous variety of Monochrome papers to make her pop and fun paper piecing technique!!
This is my part of DT post for Peek-a-boo Designs!

It's winter, so I keep the theme with some frosty effect!

I started with the image, stamped her with jet black ink on text print paper. And then stamped again on another small polka dot PP in frosty white pigment ink ( because no other ink will be visible on black), before drying I applied clear glossy embossing powder on it and heat embossed the gown and fussy cut it.

Stamped the sentiment on the same white frosty ink on a flag banner and added a fussy cut warm cap in baby blue. The card base is baby blue in color with lots of layer of different PP. Adhered the focal panel on my card base and before adding, I adhered a designer lace too.
The satin leaves and crochet flowers were in white color, so match with the color theme I sprayed them in blue and black color and let them dry properly. Now I embellished my card using some buttons, gems, mulberry flowers, polka dotted ribbon bow and a tiny heart.
Finished it off with some splatters and give some more dimension to my flowers using blue glitter and On the image, I colored her shoes and some dots using the same 3D glitter in blue.

Here is the matching inside view:

supplies used:

Cardstocks: Baby blue, jet black CS
Pattern paper: Monochrome from Papericious
Stamp: Little story from Peek-a-boo Designs

Hug with warm Wishes and coffee colors!

Hello to all!

I love making a card at this wonderful time of the year!

Today is the last day to participate in Winter Coffee Lovers Hop 2017 hosted by dear Amy!!!

For Today's card, I couldn't resist using the cute Panda Wish Stamp set! I created a winter scene where the Panda is hugging his baby in this winter season and I created a window cave using a chipboard border!
This is a part of my DT project for Expressions Craft Stamps!

To make this card I used brick wall stencil first using DI on a white CS.

Stamped the image in Jet Black Archival ink.

Now the most fun part. I added coffee ingredients to the snow texture paste in the powdery foam with textures on the brick wall using Dots(bubbles)  stencil and my palette knife. And added colors using boiled coffee water to color the little stones and created the ground, you can see the pic below! Love the results!
Before drying the textured snow bubbles I added crystal clear powder for more interest.
And distress the edges too using distresser.

Then added the sentiment on a heart which is a part of a doily, I fussy cut it.
on this designer scalloped chipboard frame I applied clear gel and added frosting powder, heat embossed it and applied snow paste too.

These branches also stamped from the same set thrice and fussy cut it. Tear a piece of white sheet randomly to create a snow hill and added snow texture paste to all sides.Stamp the sentiment warm and die cut the wishes sentiment.

To finish the card I embellished it with some mulberry rose flowers and leaves and I highlighted the flowers using golden glitter and all 4 sides too!

Hope you enjoyed this creation!
Thank you for stopping by!

 Supplies used:
Cardstocks: Heavyweight 300gsm whisper white CS, golden glitter sheet
