Shagun envelope!

Hello to all!

Happy Thursday!

Now festive days are ahead soon in the coming months in India. So I wanted to make some Shagun envelopes myself. I created this bright shagun envelope with all pink and red flowers.

Created this front panel of shagun envelope made with a Metallic golden sheet and added a golden lace to it.

This is the opening with a tassel to put the money into it.

I die cut some flowers, applied distress inks to them.

Now shaped them as shown in the below pic.

Die-cut an Indian greeting with a cute intricate elephant and added all these elements to my bright pink base sheet with gold print on it.

Some close-ups.

So this is the final result at the end!

Birds Wall Decor in Mixed Media style!

 Hello friends!

Happy Saturday!

If we love heart, we love every living creature, every single leaf of the trees and every single person living on it!

We are a child of Nature and we depend on mother Earth, it is better to start taking care of mother nature. Between us and other animal plants there is no difference- we are all children of the Earth and we are all one family. We all the world should live according to the laws of mother Nature and save mother earth from Ecological Disaster, so the Earth can Breathe! Because she's not our mother Earth, she is also our Home!

My first attempt on Sculpture Paste art and created this Wall Decor Bird piece with Mixed Media products!

MOOD BOARD THEME: EARTH, BREATHE !!!

COMPULSORY ELEMENT: UPCYCLE

I started with an MDF plaque and with a help of a sponge brush applied the base color using acrylic chalk paint. Then stencilling was done again using chalk paints as shown in the below pic. I outlined the whole design with blue glitter glue for more depth and dimension.

Added acrylic paints to this chipboard piece.

I applied ultra slow embossing ink on the Home sweet home chipboard saying and heat embossed it with EP from Wow.

I took a cardboard piece, upcycle it and cut them in the bird shape for sculpture art. I added different chalk paint colors to Snow Spread sculpture Paste and created these two birds.

Now I adhered all the chipboard pieces and my birds to my MDF plaque and it is ready for my Home decor! And don't forget to give a good coat of clear varnish.

Hope you enjoyed this process and like my  project!

Birthday card for a little girl!

Hello again!

Happy Wednesday!

I created a Birthday card for a cute little girl and I think this is the sweetest image from YNS stamps!

I started with my Gelli plate and added DI to it. Placed the white sheet on it to absorb the ink using a brayer. Then dry embossed the sheet with debossed side. I removed the ink in between the design to highlight the leaves and flowers as shown in the below pic.

Fiona is a cute windy girl. I colored her with my ZIG brushes and fussy cut her.

Now placed that embossed panel onto my card base. Added an angled white CS and stamped some falling leaves, colored them. Stamped the sentiment. The windy girl is added with dimension on it. Finished it off with a die-cut leaf along with a rhinestone.

Here is the inside view:

3 D Tunnel Box Card with Satin Rattail cord stitching!

Hello everyone!

Happy Thursday!

This time I came up with creating a 3 D card Box style, so much fun! I decided to try a tunnel box card the first time......partially a card inside this, tunnel style 3 D effect! And I was surprised by how easy it came together.

The precious birds have captured my eyes and how pretty she looks!

Inside the tunnel: Its uniqueness lies in placing the entire composition in a frame!

I started with die cutting some leaves. tiny flowers, twigs out of a bright white CS and watercolored them all. I mixed and match a lot of different dies here to decorate my scene.

I stamped the sweet images of birds in jet black ink and quickly heat embossed them with clear gloss EP for the shine. I watercolored my images using ZIG brushes and fussy cut them all. Added some details with a white gel pen.

I die cut a window blind panel for my inside tunnel panel and added it to my scored white panel as shown in the below pics.

I used adhesive tape so there was no drying time involved either,

For the front panel, I die cut a window blind panel 2 times adhered them together for more thickness. Now simply added satin rattail cord in green color hues as shown in the below pics.

Now I added this front panel to the tunnel box card front. Added all the elements like a bird, flowers, leaves. Finished it off with rub-on transfer sentiment and some hearts.

To accentuate the three dimensional I applied branches and leaves with double-sided adhesives. The nice thing about this card is that it can be folded like a normal card and therefore it can also be can conveniently be enveloped.
I hope you enjoyed this project and you too will soon make your own Tunnel Box card.

Happy crafting!

Autumn blessings!

 Hello to all!

Happy Saturday!

It's that wonderful time of the month. Trees, branches, leaves are beginning to change!

Today I have an autumn card to share with you all. I had so much fun using these fall leaves! I created an autumn glass jar containing full of different autumn leaf shapes and colours.

http://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.com/2021/09/pixies-snippets-playground-challenge_01526649633.html

Firstly I die cut a jar out of a vellum sheet and coloured it with my Copic markers from the backside and added some white dots using a white gel pen.

I die cut all leaves, foliage and coloured them with a variety of  ZIG water brushes.

Die-cut an umbrella too and watercoloured it. My card base is midnight blue on which I added an angled banner at the bottom in white with an autumn blessing sentiment in blue.

I arranged all the fall leaves and foliage in the jar, varying the leaf shape and colour. I clicked the photo before arranging them on my jar for a record.

Here is the finished card with some platinum splatters and added clear droplets and glossy accents to berries.

A closeup view:
