Wild and Free Mixed Media Layout!

Hello everyone!

Spring has really arrived and with it comes to a new hope and a new beginning and this is what I created! The wild plants are coming to life, filled with flowers, grass, flies and butterflies! The nature is of their utmost beauty! I love these swan dual pic so much and admire their beauty in a romantic and free mood, enjoying the nature!
The color palette I tried to keep in the hues of pink, magenta to match with my dual pics!

I started with an old piece of white cardboard......just added a coat of gesso to it using a brush as I wanted some brush strokes to create the textures. And roughly arranged all the elements and click the pic. I mounted my swan pics on a pink PP.

I applied Grainy texture paste through the stencil and for Cattails I mixed the raspberry embossing paste in grainy texture paste and then applied through the stencil. I added a little water before spriting different sprays which made it easier to spread the colors. And applied more water and sprays to my background as I desired!

Noe lots of stencilling, watercoloring, stamping, spraying done according to the scene and transformed the cardboard into a life at pond scene with flower bed and greenery all around highlighting those wild swans has no fear and enjoying every moment at the arrival of  Spring season with wild and free! It was impossible to stop and around the photo appeared a whole flower bed and a lot of  greenery, wild vegetation, dies, MDF cutout chippies, metal charms, stickers, real husk!!!
It's a mystic world of nature!

Now some close ups:

On all those MDF cutout chippies, applied Gesso first, then sprayed and highlighted with tinted metallic paints.
Added MM stones and texture sand using gel medium, love the mystic result!

I recycled this broken metal charm and I adore these incredible color changes from Little Birdie Tinted Metallics!!!

I wanted to create a bold colorful look so I built a lot of layers under my photo using some vintage ephemera tags, stickers, chippies, dies and of course some splatters around this beautiful scene!

I placed the real husk under the layers!

Love the use of feathers too:) perfectly going!

Added some stamping too for more depth and textures. They also help to create multilayering!

To finish off my layout, I added those tiles which featuring the pic beautifully- Wild and free!

Hope you all enjoyed this happy Spring view!!!
