Dream moment black beauty Mixed Media Canvas!

Hello everyone!
Hoping all are enjoying your day!

This is a part of my DT post for Peek-a-boo Designs.

P.S. This canvas won here: https://lovetocraftchallengeblog.blogspot.in/2018/01/ltccb-17-winners-top-picks.html

When I saw a beautiful couple die in the New release at PABD, suddenly an idea occur why not make a different and unique mixed media canvas showcasing our Indian wedding couple, Indian culture, full of glamour, shine, showering with full of flowers, dreaming their new life to begin.
Lot of thoughts behind to create the whole scene in my mind and Finally, this pretty canvas in blue hues with black and dreaming beauty bring a big smile on my face!!!
I made this canvas for a newlywed couple to gift......Hope they will love it and can place their precious moment photo in the frame!

Warning: Picture heavy post!

I collected all the materials to give a whole new life to this canvas.

Firstly, I started with a frame because it has a mirror and you can put your memorable pics inside and interchange them:). And you can showcase as it is like a magical and dreamy scene, no need to put any picture then, both the alternatives! That's why I started with the frame. I applied black gesso all over it and fixed the glass inside.
using a beaded stencil, I started from both side top corners applying texture paste. Applied black gesso all over the canvas with sides too. Created more texture using a comb.

Now placed my photo frame, collected all the material and roughly put them on the canvas and took a photo. Placed a half doily chippie inside the frame, cover it with black gesso. Removed all the things and applied different art mediums to create my background in the tone of black, blue and gold touch! Now finally adhered the photo frame on the canvas peeking that doily behind.

Die cut the word sentiment 2 times out of a black glitter sheet. Die cut the wedding couple out of a black and blue glitter sheet to create bridegroom gown and one from thick sponge foam and adhered them as shown in the pic.

Assemble the whole scene using all materials like chippies, metal embellishments, different stones stacking and tucking in and under to create interest and textures and applied black gesso on all over it. Once that was all dry it's time to paint all the accents.

For the first time it was very fearful to paint all the beauty of a full black gesso, but then it's so interesting to show and highlighted all the details. The magic of opal colors created really a magical and dreamy scene with rich pigment and sparkly effect! Showed closer pics !!!

From different angles to represent of opal magic on black are poured completely in different ways, it's hard to grab in the frame all their depth).

This is my first ever fun try with black gesso, hoping you enjoyed this gorgeous creation, so excited to see your views:), I will really appreciate them!

I have made something completely different first time this month!
