Happy Thursday!
Now festive days are ahead soon in the coming months in India. So I wanted to make some Shagun envelopes myself. I created this bright shagun envelope with all pink and red flowers.

Paper pad: Indian Elegance from DMC store

Distress inks: Picked raspberry, abandoned coral, candied apple, mawed lawn, lucky clover, cracked pistachio

Is Shagun a special festival? Or is it just a name for the money gift you can put in the envelope?
I tried to find information about it, but I failed...
Sorry for my nosy questions, but I'm always fascinated from other cultures and traditions! :-)
