Sheltering tree!

Hello to all!
Happy Tuesday!

Today I wanted to showcase a very versatile tree die cards!!!
I started with a  sheltering tree card to celebrate the summer season. It is definitely summer here with a pair of lovebird, the tree full of leaves, green grass.

Die cut a tree out of watercolored white CS. I didn't take out the die out of the sheet. I spritzed with water on this die sheet to let the colors blend and move.

Using my color bursts the trunk was watercolored in the shades of brown and orange crystals, branches and leaves with yellow and green crystals, now carefully took out my watercolored tree out of the sheet.

Using My Marta Stewart scoring board I added some stripes with a bone folder on a white panel and adhered the tree on it. I created a ground for my tree. There is a bit of layer of dirt with faded impression using Mowed lawn at the top of grass..... dirt, you know. The sentiment is from Here & now stamp set, fussy cut it and adhered with a black strip on an angel.

The pair of lovebirds is from Melodic Chirp stamp set, fussy cut it and adhered it to the tree branch enjoying the season. Now added my focal panel to a green panel and then a turquoise blue card base. Added a black jute bow as an embellishment. ended it up with some green splatters.

I really like the way this card turned out! Don't you!

You are Super Awesome

Hello to all!

Today I was in pink and Flowers kind of mood and really enjoyed putting this card together despite it being crazy!
For this card, I have used the new stamp set called Mogra Layers. It is just awesome with cute clusters of flowers and designed with lots of open space with solid layers to use for stamping too!

And I stretched my tiny stamps from other stamp sets by mixing to make my flower cluster!

I started by stamping the sentiment in Jet black ink before arranging the images.
After I stamped the flowers and leaves in the layers that are suggested, I also added a few extra leaves and flowers around the clusters in grey and black ink too.

I also splattered around them with a small amount of grey and black chalk paint ink mixed with water.
All the things I love about it! Finished it off with few clear sequins!

Supply List

Cardstock: Bielo White CS
Stamps: Mogra Layers, Super Girl and Fairy Tale Wishes stamp sets from Mudra
Altenew Inks: Cotton candy, frosty pink, velvet, grapevine, crimson
Distress ink: hickory smoke
Archival ink: Jet black

Under the sea card

Hello friends!

Time for another DT post for Cut it Up challenge! The theme is under the sea, so easy peasy!

I thought it was a good opportunity to play with a new technique for me to create an underwater background with bubbles effect and perfect to beat the heat of this summer!

I started with a white glossy CS. In a plastic glass, I added some liquid detergent and some blue tone spray colors. Using a straw created some bubbles and quickly covered up the glossy panel with bubble print as shown in the pic till satisfied with the results I achieved.

Next, I turned my attention to underwater elements to add to the card. I stamped all those tiny elements a few times, colored and fussy cut them.

Love the cute mermaid image, she is coloured with Polychromos pencil and this is my first attempt to play with these pencils. Added some clear crystal powder for more details to mermaid image.

I stretched my stamp by stamping some bubbles from the same stamp set by masking seahorse image.

The ocean waves fussy cut background panel was created two times by stencilling on vellum and a white cardstock using distress inks and detailing with zig marker. Added some sparkles to the waves to add the reflection and more interest.
I wanted to frame my panel so I added a scalloped border die in white. Added the sentiment.
In the end, the mermaid and all the elements are lifted by using foam tape. I also added a few bubbles, sequins at the low bottom of the oceans in form of some treasure.

I really enjoyed getting messy making the different underwater background panels on this card with new experiments and stretching my stamps!

Rain or Shine Coffee is on my mind!

Hello friends!
 Happy Monday!

The day is very hot today in Delhi and a little rain made the weather little pleasant for the time being in the evening!
So it's a perfect time for a coffee card with rain and some shine, enjoying a cold coffee cup full of ice!!

I created the alcohol inks background with silver mixative and paired it with my images.

Stamped the clouds by masking the image on a PP,  watercolored it and fussy cut them.

The Coffee die cup and Coffee text sentiment I received from my sweet friend Lisa from a challenge she hosts :) Thanks so much Lisa sending them 😊. I slightly watercoloured my coffee cup and using Versamark embossing ink, gave my cup some shine.
Stamped a little bird, colored it and die cut it. Now roughly created the whole scene and heat embossed some raindrops in silver glitter.

On a strip of vellum stamped the sentiment with some raindrops too. Now created the whole scene. Added a washi tape and some crystal drops.

Added some dimensional magic to the coffee cup heart for more interest and dimension.

Gotta Love the Happy, dreamy rainy fun scene with a coffee cup, sun, cloud and chirping bird! Hoping you also enjoyed it!

Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone!
Happy Friday!

I have a soft and pretty card today!
I love this cute little fairy who can complete anyone Birthday Wishes by her Magic wand spreading sparkles and happiness in our lives!!!

First of all, I created a valley of flowers by stretching my tiny stamp elements on a stitched die cut panel. Using my Misti, I stamped the solid flower image and then tiny leaf two times and created the pattern. Then using the magic stick stamp I created the flower centre, isn't it looking awesome.

Now stamp the sweet fairy image on a watercolor sheet and colored her with my Polychromos pencils first time. Fussy cut the image, added crystal drops to sparkle her wings and magic wand. Highlighted her hair using a white pen.

On a die cut label in black heat embossed the sentiment in white. Then lightly applied the distress inks using finger dauber and created a sky scene too as shown in the pic.

Once I was happy with the blending, I added my fairy with dimensions on a stamped label with leafy circle chippie. Finished off the card by scattering some flower beads and sequins from the sky by her magic wand!

Some close-ups:

I love how it looks like a real fairy sending some sparkles from the sky and sitting on a leafy circle representing the sun! Looks like a Dream!!!!

Pocket filled with crayon colors

Hello to all!
Happy Monday!

The best period of life is childhood particularly the school days and I will never forget them! Especially, the memories related to art and craft. Be it sticking my hands with glue and then peeling it off or filling my school shirt pocket with colours and mess up my dress.

The STAMPloration STAMPgirl Kathy ....... brought back these memories and inspired me to create this piece!
I am CASEing her pretty card below and you can see more of her favorites at the above link given: Love the textures she created on her bold phrase die with artistic text sentiment and paired it with a beautiful cup filled with brushes and color only at the tip of brushes. Isn't it so artistic and inspiring! Really a CAS beauty with simplicity!!!

And I am happy I can correlate this topic at Rainbow Craftykari challenge too where the theme is Back to school!

I hold a scrap of colorful sheet which is a leftover piece I created for a card. I used some acrylic colors and Zig markers on it. Stamped some crayon images and die cut the bold phrase Create out of it as shown in the pic.

I die cut a white panel using Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangles. Stamped a pocket and die cut it.  Stamped some crayon images once again. Fussy cut those colored crayons and added at the tips and centre of the crayons. Filled the pocket with crayon colors and added the text sentiment.
Now adhered that pocket and create phrase using foam adhesive tape, Voila done!

Hoping I did justice CASEing her pretty CAS artistic beauty!

Supply List:
Cardstock: Coconut white CS and Texture white CS for pocket
