Spotlight Technique with Geometric Butterfly!

Hi to all!

Today, I would like to show how I create this card with the full procedure of Spotlight technique with an embossing twist! I love experiments! 😊

I started with one of the double running stitches dies to cut my focal panel from a watercolor sheet. Stamped the butterfly in Versamark embossing ink and sprinkled embossing glitter powder, heat embossed it, look at the shine, Wow, amazing!

The Spotlight Technique is very interesting to highlight any part of the image in Black & white and then color it. But my twist is instead of Black &white I highlighted it with silver embossing touch!

I decided to highlight my butterfly image using star die with a trail!

I used glass watercoloring technique to color my spotlight area. I wet the area with loose water and leave a very thin dot to spread the color with water. I am very happy with the result! And matted it. Now line up the colored image with the silver color stamped image.

Stamped my greeting and I masked the sentiment to highlight the word Sparkle. Love the shine!Matted my focal panel too. Wrapped my label with a satin ribbon and adhered my focal panel to my card base.
My card base is white and adhered a piece of matching blue PP  to the left side of the card. Now I finished it off making a trail with my own loads of bling.

The final view once again:

Here is the inside view:
The sentiment is foiled!
