Dec 25-Merry Christmas

Hello, friends!
Yesterday, I found a new and awesome blog and very much inspired by their sketch.

And here is my take on this wonderful sketch:
First I stamped this cute image on a snippet of watercolor CS, colored it with markers, fussy cut it and added diamond stickles to the snow.
Next I cut out a window from white color textured CS and gave the impression of piercing around the square for more interest. Then using dye inks and my mist water bottle, I created an ink smoosh technique BG and stamped  silhouette houses in black. Then for more texture I pierced both the edges.
Then I stamped the sentiment with the specific celebration date!
Using a stencil and embossing paste, I created a window scene BG for the image before adhering the panel.
Then I took a snippet of Kraft CS and adhered the window panel using adhesive foam pads and Finally placed the image using pop dots for depth and dimension to create this little cute scene.

I am also inspired with few more challenges

Hope you enjoyed this fun creation and I am giving it to my son friend's younger brother, who recently required a Christmas creation for his class activity. So I would love to participate in Week 3 of the Share Handmade Kindness Challenge is all about kids!

I love this card Vanita! The vintage feel is so well done with all those smokey colors and the small little town. But that Santa is so funny! I about fell out my chair with the giggles.. Using the window technique to highlight this hilarity was perfect!! The sparkly snow is a wonderful touch to this card.. Vanita, I want to thank you so much for joining us at HOC.. I am so looking forward to seeing more of your designs as I am your newest follower.
Take care,
Shawna DT
