Shine on

Good Evening!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I was very much busy with my daughter for last few days. She arrived from Chennai to spend her 15 days holidays. Now I am free and back to my crafting work.
         This time, there is a little change in the weather and my daughter has started going on bike rides at Chennai. It feels so good to be outside when the weather has started to warm up. With that idea in mind, I found inspiration for my card today. And I created a fun fold card, choosing Autumn colors.

 

 I got my hands on a new clear stamp set "Summer Mae" from Some odd Girl. I stamped the image on a white CS and enjoy to color her with my promarkers and fussy cut out her. I added glossy accents to her eyes.
Here is the close up:

I started with a white colored textured CS, created the sun rays at the top of the corner included in this set. Then I  created  the smiling face for the sun, distress the watercolor paper,  adding google eyes to brighten up the day!

 I matted my image on a PP.
 Then I popped up my image for the dimension and added a glittered foam bicycle, some grass as a last layer.

 

  I added a chipboard cloud and stamped some more cloud pattern on it to create a texture from the same stamp set and glued some loose blue colored glitter at the edges.
 Die cut the front layer borders with  Spellbinders A2 scalloped borders .

 

 I completed my card by adding the “shine on” sentiment from the same set.
 I finished off my card with some embellishments-puffy flowers, butterfly, pearls and  satin ribbon bows.
