It is very hot in Delhi. The current temperature is 43 degree Celsius. This time, I made a congrats card for graduates.
I made a double Gate fold card. Firstly I decided to make a felt finger puppet owl using felt and attached a graduation hat with diploma degree, distressed the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink (new). Then I tied a star printed red satin ribbon to the degree. Now , the owl finger puppet is ready......Isn't it looking cool for graduates:). It is removable because attached by adhesive foam to give 3 D look. Then I selected a red CS for the base and PP from DCWV 12x12 stack.
The banner die is from Tim Holtz Bigz Die Regal crest and heat embossed the edges using Wow primary Ebony super fine embossing powder. The stars(black glittered foam sheet) are from A1 craft supply Thin-lets star die cut set and I used School memories Set from Prima Marketing.
When the gate fold will open another card adhered on it. The Sentiment is handwritten and the image is hand drawn too!!! I used Camel watercolours and Sakura Glittered Pens to give sparkly effect.
Look at the inside view for the cheery sentiment......
Its a cool sentiment written with grey and black effect. I added a book stamp on a black glittered panel and coloured them using Sakura Glittered pens.
I also added a grosgrain red ribbon with a yellow star button on it and a red button on the hat with a tassel. I think it's a superb card for Graduates and am very happy to see the results!!!
