Shagun Envelope with a Happy news!

Hello friends!
Happy Friday!

So excited with my first DT post here for DCAM! I am sharing a Shagun envelope which I made using critter sheets and pretty newly launched DCAM wild grass dies with old ones.
The quality of critter sheets is just awesome with the glossy finish. It's so easy and quick to cut. Love the watercolored look of florals. We always require money envelopes to give to our loved ones on many occasions! And Raksha Bandhan Festival is right around the corner for me to gift these Shagun envelopes!

Here are the few steps:
  • Create an envelope using Split Envelope die out of white CS. Now on the focal panel of the envelop adhered a PP.
  • Die cut a lace topper in black CS to decorate the top part of the envelope.

  • Hand cut some florals with leaves, lots of love sentiment banner (lightly distressed it) out of critter sheets for the arrangement.
  • Arranged all the watercolored florals with lace topper at the top and banner at the bottom with dimensions.

  • Die cut a pair of wild grass and lightly inked it.

  • Embellished it with few adhesive white pearls.

I hope you enjoyed my work and inspired to create your own handmade envelope.

Have a wonderful day!

Baby 1st Birthday Invitation cards!

Hello to all!
Happy Saturday!

There are celebrations where memories are essential! My DT post for Cut it Up challenges with fave color theme!

It is made on an imported textured off-white sheet adorned with sparkling gems, pearls, pretty butterflies and a cute baby girl frock in pink. Ideal to mark a special occasion and later kept as a "keepsake" of the day!
And also completed with a matching stamped envelop!

I started with the front side first. Roughly drew some lines with a pencil for the handwritten message. Stamped the flourish in 3 shades of green with pink flowers.

Stamped the 1st Birthday in pink dye ink. Die cut a frock out of watercolored dotted sheet and embossed it, highlighted the embossed area in fuchsia ink. Decorated it with baby pink pearlsand  die cut one more frock out of white CS and adhered the decorated one on it.
Die cut the name letters in glittery pink foam sheet and added on the front panel. Added a pretty matching lace at the bottom end.

Now come to the Back panel. You are invited and Don't Forget is stamped in pink dye ink again. And all the Personalized details are handwritten at all!!! Now stamped some flourishes once again.
And added the matching envelop to send!

I made a set of 20 Birthday Invitation cards on order! It's my first ever order, feeling sooooooo happy!!!

Today's card is ice-cream cone inspired including every tiny detail..... the colorful striped PP, cool sentiment and yummylicious multilayers in summer cool colors!

Hello summer!

Hello everyone!
Happy Wednesday!

Today, my card features inlaid style flowers with the striped background!

Firstly I started by creating my own striped background using stencil and inks on a white CS. Then die cut some flowers out of a scrap of a watercolored smooshed sheet, white CS and hand-cut the solid shape from vellum too. Die cut some leaves and a Crazy double running stitched panel with a window too.
Die cut a stitched flagtail banner and stamped the sentiment.
Created the whole design and adhered this white panel on the striped one with dimensions. Embellished it with a cute pair of ladybugs and few crystals.

Hoping you enjoyed this beautiful creation!

A cup of climate change!

Hello friends!
Happy Tuesday!

Today I wanted to share an eco-friendly coffee cup card- A cup of climate change!!
We all love coffee and the truth is, it tastes even better when it's guilt free!

Global climate change presents a very large problem for coffee growers. Coffee is a fragile plant requiring a specific climate in which to thrive; even a slight change of temperature or rain can decrease coffee yields, quality or even threaten an entire country's crop.
And when large native forests are cut down to provide more area for sun-grown coffee, the deforestation causes carbon emissions and destroys natural carbon sinks decreasing our ability to stop climate change.
In the end, nothing's better than waking up and knowing that your daily cup of coffee fights climate change, provides habitat for birds, help people all over the world earn a decent wage and wasn't produced using harmful chemicals.....
Finally, to be the most eco-friendly, you should find the source of coffee beans that are closet to where you live and where the beans were originally grown, so look out for carbon-neutral coffee!

So here is my card on this theme coffee/tea and rains!

On this, I started with a tear dots stencil. I mixed the new release creamy yellow chalk paint in the embossing paste just by touching my brush and voila, what a great result I got impact as a big raindrop!

The colour is so shiny and bright, love the sunshine result!
I tied this panel with Tim Holtz black jute twine. Adhered this panel with a black CS and then on my buttercup card base at a tilted angle to create more interest.

Now added hello sunshine sentiment with a gorgeous adhesive lace and a cotton ribbon lace! Added a cute recycled tag with a coffee cup and hot flames with a designer paper with an eco life message! I added glossy accents and some sequins to my cup for more dimensions.

I feel so happy with the final output! Hope you enjoyed this project!
