Hello everyone!
Happy Sunday! I hope your day is going well!
Super excited today! Finally, it's January 2025 Release Day!
let me formally introduce these beauties...
My first card
I used these Distress inks for rainbow colored impacts: tumbled grass, weathered wood, shaded lilac, villainous potion, mustard seeds, picked raspberry, lumberjack plaid, victorian velvet, and saltwater taffy for my Layering Picked Posies florals. I started with the biggest floral first, then the other ones and then the tiniest ones. The sentiments from the Flower Power #11 stamp set.
Second card
Who doesn't love sparkle and shine!
I created a shaker card. I die-cut the front and base panels using a pillow die. Then on a white die-cut pillow base panel, I placed the gem stencil as a guide to trace the gem with pencil marks. I stamped many small diamonds in rainbow colors using DI. Then I added tiny transparent tape around the big diamond shape and applied white crystal glitter powder. Voila, I love the result.
I stamped the sentiment with Staz on Black ink on the acetate sheet, sprinkled Wow Midnight Dreams EP and heat embossed it. I filled some shaker elements with white crystals. Then, I covered it with the Pillow frame and adhered it to my card panel.
Third card
I created a stencilled background using Mid-century Modern Circles and Stars stencil. I mixed the dark pink lunar paste into the white texture paste to lighten it in light pink shades and applied it through the stencil.
Then, I stamped the outlined flowers with leaves in black from the Flower Power #11 stamp set. I stamped one flower in its original form and the other one I joined the last petals on both sides of the flower to show it bigger. I watercolored them using Pink DI and fussy cut both. The sentiments are from the same set. I added some sequins to bling my card.
Fourth card
For this card, I created my own patterned paper. I placed a quilted stencil on a textured white CS panel and applied crushed olive DO. After that, I stamped a floral background into the white space left using rustic wilderness DO and pine needle DI. I tried to create a monochrome look in green. I heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set using opaque bright white EP. I placed my panel on the black CS. Then, I added some twine across the top and black rhinestones to the stencilled flowers.
Final card
I first time tried a scrambled Blocks technique card and loved the results!
