Butterfly in the field of wildflowers in vintage art journaling style!

 Hello to all!

Happy Thursday!

It was a day of resplendently brilliant sunshine

I walked through gardens full of colorful wildflowers

which in their humbleness opened up and smiled at me

I trod very carefully not to step on them

but being so sturdy they would surely rise up again.

A tiny butterfly with wings of lace fluttered by

pretty butterfly unafraid of me it was just living

enjoying sipping nectar from the tiny wildflowers

blithely flitting along in the balmy light zephyr wind.

I found there is beauty in every story

and learned a lesson not to be afraid of living life

and letting it lead you

it will take you just where you're supposed to be.....

"May your life be like a wildflower, growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day."

- Native American Proverb.

Woohoo! I am a winner here:

So here is my attempt at this vintage style card........

I started with a watercolor floral element sheet and applied some liquid watercolors with my brush on the white panel.

In the centre of this panel added a vintage butterfly journalling sticker.

some old newspaper script were added here and there.

I applied a clear gloss texture paste using argyle stencil and quickly spread some diamond dust before drying.

Look at the glaze of shiny gloss accent on my butterfly with diamond dust, love the result!

I added liquid watercolors to my wildflowers and leaves.

Die-cut a stitched rectangle frame from a white Cs and once again from a white foam sheet. And adhered that focal panel to my white card base.
Added a sentiment sheet with a sticker word story on it.

Love the sheen touch of diamond dust to argyle patterns.

Finished it off by adding a wooden butterfly with a silver thread knotted &some wooden beads too, Added a crystal butterfly pin too with some water droplets to enhance the beauty of this nature story!

Hoping you enjoyed the process!
Happy crafting!
