New Beginnings

Hi!

First of all I would like to wish you all.......

                                  A very Happy New Year!!!!!
                                   Welcome 2014.
 I am back with another creation.
 I used white ivory sheet for my card base and embossed it with the flower floral folder from Itsy Bitsy. The embossed background is highlighted with pink and sky blue colours and centre of the flower is heat embossed with versa silver glitter. Then, I added a silver grosgrain ribbon as a border on it. For second layer, I placed a pink handmade sheet on a maroon cardstock matching with my background.




 For this card, I used a new girl stamp from W&M clear stamps. I coloured her with promarkers and sakura gelly roll pens to give a shiny effect .To pop up my image I adhered it on a texture sheet from my stash.

 For a girly touch, I added a pink button with blue rhinestone and a pink gem.

 

On the inside, I created  a handwritten sentiment and daubered the edges with silver versa ink.

Christmas Birthday

Hello, Merry Christmas.

 For sometime, I had wanted to try a chocolate-white-cream and a maroon colour combinations card. Here it is.....

 

 

 

Well, the image is another Stampandeous stamp coloured with Promarkers and sakura  glitter
gel pens. The image has been placed on a Spellbinder Octagon Shapeabilities. I tried to give a "Brick Impression" using Martha Stewart Scoring Board.

  I used a Spellbinder die-cut Window one, coloured with yellow promarker and embossed it with Versa Wow Copper Embossing powder and placed it on a dotted paper.

   I make a bunch of flowers using Hero Art Flower & Butterfly Framelit Dies. And stamped some leaves with Versa Colors stamp. Then I embossed these flowers with Versa Wow white embossed powder and layered them on a cream texture cardstock.

  Using the same Octagon frame, I stamped the Birthday sentiment using champagne Versa colour on a white card stock. Along with a transparent ribbon and lace, I arranged all the elements as you can see in the picture. In addition to that, I decorated the inside too...

Love is in the air

Hello,
 I have made an easel card using Spellbinder Shapeabilities. I have use Stampandeous Stamp. Love this sweet image. I have coloured the image with my Promarkers and Sakura Gelly Roll Pens. I have used a pattern paper as background and the matting layers have been done on coordinating plain cardstock.

   

 The image has been placed on a red heart doily using Spellbinder lace hearts. Handmade flowers which have been covered in diamond glitter dust to match with the colour scheme.










 There I placed a ribbon and a sentiment on the bottom layer with a cute little heart.

Something Special

Hi!
 Strawberry Shortcake all the way.......... I found  this free digital image in line. I just loved making this card. I made it for my friend.

 

I coloured this image with promarkers and sakura glittered pens and layered it with circle  spellbinder shapeabilities to give an image of rising sun and this new year will be filled with joy and sunshine.

I stitched a couple of sequences to the red lace and put my handmade pink roses onto the green panel. For the final touch I added a chipboard adhesive tag. I have also decorated on the inside. Do you wanna have a look?

So much feeling went into this card and I am so happy with how it came out.

Time to celebrate

Hello, Happy Tuesday

Today, I am sharing a "Happy New Year" card. And I pictured a Winter Scene in a card with Fireworks going off. I coloured this scene with Promarkers, Sakura Glittered Gel Pens. In the night sky, I coloured using Scrapping-Gear Quattro Blue Chalk and used diamond glitter dust.







  I wanted to make a Stepper card which I thought perfect to match this scene and added some ornaments stamps (W R Memory Keepers), snowflakes on the side panel. Then, I ripped a white cardstock to create a Snowy ground and embossed it with Versa Wow silver glitter emboss powder. To give a 3-D effect I superimposed the two figures and added snow dust to the little boys cap. 

 

  The 'happy new year' sentiment was glittered to emphasise it. And I highlighted the edges using purple sakura glitter pen.

 I think it looks pretty lively. Will love to what you think???

LIFE IS A KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLOURS

Hello galz!

I tried something different today. I embossed a blue cardstock using Itsy Bitsy Spring folder and highlighted the embossed butterfly with Versa stamp.

 

 

 

      Then an idea occurred to me that why not give different colours to this card and then I coloured rest of the embossed pattern with Sakura Gelly  Roll pens. I added a cool sentiment & using stamping pads coloured it orange  and applied  dark blue colour to the edges. I chose a cream colour cardstock  as my base using EK Success Scallop Punch with Border along with orange and blue cardstocks. Then for final touch,  added striped light blue ribbon  and decorated it with flowers and added rhinestones to them.
I think, my card is a colourful canvas. What do you think???

Summer Bloom

Hello friends
 I know, I know!!! That the winter season has begun. And "Christmas" excitement is at an all time high. But after making & seeing so many cards relating to Holiday Cheers, I thought to make a different card. So, here it is...Tada!!!

I thought to go with Yellow because of its warmth. This colour gives brightness and a cheery look to the card. I used an embossed  yellow sheet and pattern paper. Combined with brown bordering and picket fence. Added elements like flowers, beads,  gem stones and butterfly to it. Then added the sentiment to it and stamped it using dauber. Finally I put around a yellow twine and pretty lace.
