What a pleasure it is to be blogging today! I am able to share a Fun Christmas Scene with all of you, It is my first ever project in the blog land and it reminded me of those days when I created lots of projects as a teaching aids like this for my tiny tots in the school while teaching!
As I am not a Christian but I decided to celebrate this Jolly Festival this year. Anyhow I decided to create some fun Mini-Holiday-Christmas Scenes included with a snowman, a house, a decorated Christmas tree and a gift box with a candy and create a Christmas Eve night scene too!!!  I had fun making everything!  So here is my creation:
The scene is created on a thermacol sheet.
I created a snowman shaped card, hand drawn and water colored and added some diamond stickles, star stickers, buttons.
Inside is a wishing sentiment with gift stickers.
I recycled a pepsi can and decorated it with some designer papers, neighbourhood stamps, trees, felt foam grass, a lamppost and a lace. And lastly added a star with a Merry X-Mas sentiment(handwritten).

Next one is a gift box having candy cane and a gift in it. I made the candy cane using straws and covered them with white and red colored wool all around it. The gift box is having a gorgeous handle to hold it!

So you gotta have a Christmas tree right for a great holiday scene?  My tree is actually handmade and fussy cut including lots of ornaments, toy charms and gifts at the tip of the tree corners and a star metal charm at the top!

Here is the final result.........I added picked fence all around it, placed the green moss as a carpet and adhered some more colored dry trees.
Here is the close up:
I decorate this with some lights to create a night scene and fun!!!!

Hope you enjoyed my Christmas night scene too!

Fall Florals with Cherry Lynn frame

Hello Crafters!
Good Evening!
Here is my today's creation:

Today I wanted to show you how I made a card for fall using a drywall tape to create a textured water colored background. I was inspired by Danielle's creation.
To create the BG I used some Drywall Tape as a stencil.  Just cut a few stripes and stick it to my white cardstock. It is  the self-adhesive kind so I didn’t need to apply any glue. Here is the drywall tape, I showed it on a darker surface.....
Then I applied a heavy layered of embossing paste(homemade). After drying I  added some water color!  To blend the colors and soften them a bit I misted the panel with water and used a paper towel to dab extra water.. Once dried, I trimmed the edges .

I love my Cheery Lynn dies (new in my stash), that is the frame I have used on my card today and adhered it on my BG panel.
My card base is a white panel and second layer is a blue colored mirri sheet. And I added a little stripe of  Silver colored Snippet peeking under the sentiment.

I created a handmade flower using my Octagon die cut and distressed it and added some diamond dust. The leaf and a gorgeous butterfly are created  from a metal sheet. I added some alchol inks to them.
The sentiment is heat embossed in black on a banner die cut.
To create some more texture and interest I added some embellishments. There is a blue colored fiber ribbon bow with a cameo on it which I made in my mold using heat glue gun, distressed her and sparkled her.
Some crochet distressed flowers and mulberry rose flowers, pollens, a pretty white lace, a picket fence, some pearls and gems were added to my creation.
Here is the inside view:

To match with the outer colors I highlighted the sentiment in multicolor. I used some distress ink. I put some drops of distress ink on my block and misted with water and then stamped.

Well thank you for stopping by today I do hope you have enjoyed my creation!
Supplies used:

Winter Fun

Hi everyone!
Christmas is not very many weeks away now !!! So I decided to make another card.

At Inspired By Stamping Having a Photo inspiration with color theme and I have combined with two forms of inspirations.
IBSIC-#87---Color       IBSIC-#87---Silver
I just love this little penguin from Hot Of The Press Stamp set. I stamped it on a white CS with Versacolor Black pigment ink, heat embossed his muffler and body and used promarkers to color him, fussy cut out it. I also added a snowball he is holding ... looks like he is ready for a snowball fun :). I got very inky with sponging the background sky for my card and added shimmer in the sky. I simply stamped two sizes of snowflake stamps from the same stamp set randomly.

I ripped two layers from Snippets of white card stock for the snowbanks at the bottom and added sparkling snow to the top for some shine. Added some punched heat embossed (snippet) snowflakes. Popped up my image for dimension!!!
Added a Winter Fun Sentiment at the bottom. You can see the shine and shimmer in the sky clearly in this another photo..........
I finished my card by adding a silver colored dangler, a silver cord bow and look carefully this cute little snowman  ....... I made it using a silver colored button, a turquoise colored brad for his cap and added a little ball of cotton with a  white gem. I drew the face using a black pigment ink waterproof pen from Potentate.

I had so much fun making this card and I was smiling the whole time ... :). And hope you enjoyed this winter fun creation for Christmas!!!

Supplies used:
Whisper White CS; PP from Docrafts (Penelope & Percy paper pad)--used inside
Cornflower Blue Archival ink; Royal blue, Violet pigment inks from Versacolor, Clear embossing stamp pad and pen
Primary apple red, Silver bells, Nice ice blue and Sparkling Snow embossing powders from WOW
Pearl Metallic Color for shimmer from Fevicryl Hobby Ideas
Jef Snowflakes punches

Jessies Gift

Hello Crafters!
Good Morning!
I participated in the contest at Treasured Times Rubber Stamp at their FB page.  Thanks to Jody to inspire me:) Their fabulous team provided us some gorgeous images and I have chosen --
Jessies Gift
By Jehanne Silva Freimane and here is my creation.......
She is so adorable and cute and can be used for any occasion! I colored her with my promarkers, added some glossy accents to her dress and gift box. Fussy cut out her and popped her up by foam dots. I created a background scene too using Distress ink. I used my own dots stencil and applied homemade texture paste and added some silver colored loose glitter to create some snow in the sky.
I used all the new dies which I recently purchased and this die cut gift box is awesome. I paper pieced it with different DPs and embellished it with a snowflake and a jeweled stone, rhinestones. I stamped the love sentiment and embossed it.
 Added a party banner.
I used some gorgeous two toned rose flowers and a gorgeous organza ribbon and made a flower bow, (which I just won a candy from Jacque's recently, Thanks to her!). I finished off my card with some more embellishments.

Here is the inside view.....the message will be added later on.

Diwali decor borders

Hello to everyone!
Wishing You All A Happy And prosperous Diwali!!!

Diwali is known as the festival of lights celebrated in INDIA. As it is a tradition to decorate and light up our houses with an impressive array of candles and small clay oil lamps to symbolize the triumph of good over evil. As a family we spend most of the day preparing the house by cleaning and decorating it before the evening party begins. The evening party for family and friends to come together, enjoy a varied and plentiful selection of flavorsome Indian dishes, busting crackers after the God worship. The house becomes a beacon of light and merriment full of laughter, music and fireworks.
Here is my Diwali décor piece(set of 4 pieces)........

I stamped the images on a heavyweight light yellow colored CS and trimmed the edges with a zigzag scissor. These are the wooden mounted stamps (two different border stamps and one is a peacock image stamp) and I combined all these images using watercolor cakes. I created  multicolored peacocks. I added three different colors on my block  and put my stamp on that block and then stamped the images. Embellished with some sequences and rhinestones for an eye.

Tomorrow is the actual Diwali day and I am enjoying to decorating my house and welcoming guests, sharing sweets and good wishes. And I will add Rangoli tomorrow at my Pooja (worship) place!!! I will share the post day after tomorrow again.

Supplies used:
Stamps from my stash
Watercolor cakes from Milan

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone!
Have a beautiful day!
I decided to make a Christmas card since it is just around the corner.  I created a little winter scene with my stamps.
This time I also choose a BINGO theme at http://letsscrapsketches.blogspot.in/
For this challenge  I am using the NINE items from 2nd row and p column (6+ buttons, handwritten journal, distressed edges, Tags from the row and flowers, gemstones, black & white photo matting, Bling/glitter from the column P). And also inspired by silver color theme.
IBSIC-#87---Silver

I enjoyed so much to put all these elements in my creation!!! So here is my project.........

One more bright picture
I love this stamp set, really adorable and cute. I embossed the white CS. For this one I cut a large circle using the Spellbinders Nestabilities decorative elements, topped that off with my polar bear snow scene I made the sliver mirri "picture frame" as a snippet for it ,with an embossed circle inside.
I stamped the image using jet black archival ink, fussy cut and torn the base for snowy banks. Instead of coloring the image I added stickles to show them as snowy polar bears, put glossy accents to the eyes and added diamond Dust for the snow, popped up the images for dimension. Matted on the PP and a border from Do Craft -Daisy and Penelope & Percy A4 paper pack.

I don't have an icicles die cut and got an idea to make it using my hot glue gun. I randomly placed the glue on an acetate sheet, added the glitter dust and removed it from the sheet and ......tada .....done easily:)
I distressed the edges of this metal flower.
Created the Christmas tree by adding corrugated sheets and some cotton snow with silver stickles on it, tied a velvet ribbon bow and added it with foam dots.
Added a Christmas Lace to create lots of texture and dimension.
Added the sentiment tags from the same stamp set and  a perfect match for this scene.

This one remind minds me so much of ice and snow and sparkly winter things. I embellish with flower gemstones , rhinestone, bling and a enamel pink colored heart.
The inside of this card says:

I journaling the inside matter and layout a photo of my daughter. Merry X-Mas letters are the die cuts and added buttons too. I will mail this card as a surprise to her before Christmas!

Hope you enjoyed this creation in Non Traditional colors!

Supplies used:
Stamp set from Hot of the press
Embossed folder Spots from Itsy Bitsy
Spellbinder  Shapeabilities Back to basic tags
Upper Alphabet et from Memory box
Picked Raspberry Distressed ink
Diamond, turquoise, cotton candy and gold stickles from Range

I tried to make a CAS card this time, they really attract me, but difficult to make without embellishment too:)Lol. And I am very much inspired by Stamploration Design Team creations! And their challenge is "Stamps & Embossing".

Here is my creation using one stamp set from Itsy Bitsy.

I began with a shaped card and extended my die cut, I want the larger size for it. Cut out the front panel for this card using Sizzix Framelits dies labels and stitched frames.

Embossed the front piece in Darice woodgrain folder. I used a yellow colored CS and  cut it into two pieces in a banner shape as shown in the pic and popped them with foam dots.

Using an oval die, I cut out an oval window and sponged it with chalk colors from Srappin Gear Pink shades set. Then stamped a butterfly and a small rose in Archival jet black ink. Then I watercolored them using white pearly water, you can see the shimmer. Then out came the paintbrush for a bit of splattering.  And applied the stamped oval using 3d foam. Then an another banner was attached with a sentiment on it. Finished off the card with some leaves and pearl gems.

Happy with the result! Hope you like it:)

Other supplies used: All supplies used from Itsy Bitsy store.
White Textured CS
 Watercolor cakes from Milan
