Card 1

This is a modern style one-layer CAS card using a Happy Birthday stencil. I used fossilized amber, wilted violet, barn door, rustic hinge distress oxides and Jet Black Archival ink. I embellished it with a few black half pearls.

Card 2

For the second card, I created a colorful background to showcase the pretty butterflies. I ink smooshed the distress inks directly onto a white panel. Then I created these pretty butterflies using Layering Bright butterflies and fussy cut out. I used sea glass, dust, midnight violet, buttercream, warm sunshine, evergreen, frayed leaf, pink diamond, raspberry and fresh peach Altenew inks.

The sentiment is heat embossed using Opaque Bright white EP on a vellum die cut. And dazzled it with a few tiny crystal rhinestones.

Card 3

For this card, I used the Layering Organic Blooms stencil. I used sea glass, desert night, red royal, and pale tomato Altenew inks. The sentiment is from the Organic Blooms stamp set.

Card 4

For this card, I used the Organic Blooms stamp set to create my own background; it's a perfect stamp for the cards.

I used red royal, pale tomato, fresh peach, pinkalicious, pink diamond, evergreen, forest glacier, lavender fields, soft lilac and warm sunshine Altenew inks. And watercolored it for the soft touch. I added tiny dots all over the background from the same stamp set.

White dots were added to the stigma using a Posca pen. The sentiment is from the same Stamp set

Card 5

This is a mixed-media style card. I used aged mahogany, saltwater taffy, walnut stain, vintage photo, fossilized amber, carved pumpkin, and barn door DI for the Primrose image. I fussy-cut the floral image and bent some leaves for more dimension. The background is created using a big polka dot stencil and background blocks Linear stamp set.

Card 6

For my last card, I showcased the Bright Butterflies clear stamp set. I stamped the cute tiny butterflies in various distress inks and fussy cut them all. I added a white sparkly circle and adhered all the butterflies on this circle. The sentiment is from the same set.

Welcome to Day 4! Today is Uniko's 13th Birthday New Release Introductions of Layering Organic Blooms stencil and The Organic Bloom Clear Stamp set.

It is a great match with stamp and stencil and can be created in many variations.

The sentiment is from the floral vines stamp set. And embellished it with some rhinestones.

I then stamped the organic blooms and heat embossed them using opaque bright white embossing powder. The sentiment is from the same set. In the end,  I drew some zetangle lines into the bloom and dots to the image shown in the above pic using posca white pen.

Celebrating 13 Years - Introducing Alphabet Solid and Background Blocks Waves Day 3

 Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday!

Today is Day 3 and we are introducing Alphabet Solid and Background Block Waves.

I love how cleverly Bev designed the Background Blocks waves. I love the impact of wavy illusion!

I stamped the Background Blocks waves using Raspberry, rubellite and pinkalicious Altenew inks on a soft pink textured die-cut panel. I loved the achieving results, don't you!!!

Then I stamped a butterfly from the Bright butterflies stamp set using deep iris Altenew ink and fussy cut it. I added the sentiment with a butterfly trail on a white card base panel.

Firstly, on a white die-cut panel, I used fossilized amber DO, rusty hinge and seedless preserves DI using Background Blocks Waves. Then I filled the white waves using my watercolor brush markers. Then I added a sun from the Mid Century Modern Elements stamp set.

Uni white Posca pen for the dots. On a textured white sheet panel I made my own colored BG using Cocoa Altenew ink. In the end, I paired it with the Alphabet solid stamp set to create the word Shine and highlighted it with white dots. Now I attached my window panel with black layering to the card base.

Don't you love this wavy window scene! For more inspiration visit Uniko Blog!

Then I stamped the trio of butterflies using Altenew inks forest glacier, paper bag, ocean waver and warm sunshine. I fussy cut them and added them with double adhesive foam. The sentiment is from the same set.

 Card 2

For the second card, I used the Bright Butterflies Layering stencil. This set has three butterflies with a lot of potential to create many stylish designs.

The designs were inspired by this next peek, which is of a re-release of a clear stamp set to bring back from retirement.

A fun addition to the Background Block series.

A layering stencil and this is a fun one with lots of creative possibilities.

Lastly it is an addition to the Spring Botanical series.

To qualify you need to make a Birthday card using Uniko products and the winner will receive a £10 eGift Certificate.

Here is my card!

I love the variety of Happy Birthday elements and Big & Bold sentiments Uniko has, so I mixed and matched the various stamp sets and here is my card!

I created a one-layer CAS card with my background for Birthday celebrations and men in your life. I went with some boyish color balloons. I started by stamping the Big & Bold Happy Birthday sentiment using Jet Black Versaink.
I stamped the balloons in different Little Birdie French rose, passion flower, green olive, lemon squeeze, aqua, and primrose Pigment inks using a masking technique. Added the strings for the balloons.

I have used the party elements for stamping in between the space left using olive green pigment ink.
I finished with some silver glass glitters to the balloons for some sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by. There is still much time to join at the Birthday Linky Party at Uniko!
I hope you will join the FB group too! Good Luck!

I hope you are enjoying the celebrations with Uniko!

Here is my take on the card!

I started by stamping the Background Blocks Grid on a white CS. I watercolored a few of the grid blocks.

I inked up the big butterfly using the English Country Garden Butterflies stamp &die set and watercolored it with my ZIG markers.

The leaf flourishes are die-cut from some green scraps using the Nature's Treasure II stamp and die set.  I created a clear window using an acetate sheet and added that sweet butterfly and green foliage.

Celebrating 13 Years - Let The Celebrations Begin 🎉

 Hello everyone!

Happy Saturday!

It's time for the 13th Birthday Celebrations 🎉 over at Uniko!

Let the celebration begin with a birthday card linky party. It will run a full month, giving you plenty of time to play along. So I wish Uniko a very Happy Birthday and get creative with your birthday projects for the Birthday linky party challenge.

I created a Cas-style layered card with a masculine theme.

I started with birthday present elements from the Mid-Century Modern Birthday stamp set and inked it in the shade of aqua bay and midnight blue pigment inks at the bottom in a line on a white CS.

I added a torn-edged die-cut frame on my white card base with a happy birthday sentiment with dimension.

On a square die-cut base I stamped some candles in aqua bay and midnight blue inks and flame in yellow ink. This set is super sweet and perfect for a birthday celebration with many elements. I added that stamped candle square panel between the window.
Not to forget a mess of white thread and some blue rhinestones for added sparkle.
Now you are off to see what fabulous creative fun other teammates have for you at Uniko!

To celebrate Uniko's Birthday there is an awesome offer too!

There is plenty of time to join in on the fun.
The deadline for submission is 23: 59 (GMT) on Friday 28th February 2025.
There is plenty of time to join in on the fun. The winner gets a prize - £25 e Gift Certificate to spend at Uniko. I can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge. Winners will announced on Saturday 8th March 2025.

Snow

Hello everyone!

Happy Saturday!

Are you ready for a beautiful winter card with snowflakes............ Snow love is here, my Uniko Brand Ambassador inspiration!

I stamped my snowflakes from the framed snowflakes stamp set on a white card panel using the Unchanted Mariner DI. Then I ink-blended my background using picked raspberry and lumber plaid DI.

Once again I heat embossed in opaque bright white EP for more snowflake elements from the same set and added some splatters using silver perfect pearl. I love the wholesome look!

I used the bold snow die with outline coverage in a white scrap piece, which was left after blending the background with a glitter silver CS. To finish it off, I added the Let It sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Happy crafting!

Stencil - Mid Century Modern Circles & Stars £4.50
Copyright Uniko Ltd 2012 - To Date

Let's see what I came up with.......

My first card

I used these Distress inks for rainbow colored impacts: tumbled grass, weathered wood, shaded lilac, villainous potion, mustard seeds, picked raspberry, lumberjack plaid, victorian velvet, and saltwater taffy for my Layering Picked Posies florals. I started with the biggest floral first, then the other ones and then the tiniest ones. The sentiments from the Flower Power #11 stamp set.

Second card

Who doesn't love sparkle and shine!

I created a shaker card. I die-cut the front and base panels using a pillow die. Then on a white die-cut pillow base panel, I placed the gem stencil as a guide to trace the gem with pencil marks. I stamped many small diamonds in rainbow colors using DI. Then I added tiny transparent tape around the big diamond shape and applied white crystal glitter powder. Voila, I love the result.

I stamped the sentiment with Staz on Black ink on the acetate sheet, sprinkled Wow Midnight Dreams EP and heat embossed it. I filled some shaker elements with white crystals. Then, I covered it with the Pillow frame and adhered it to my card panel.

Third card

I created a stencilled background using Mid-century Modern Circles and Stars stencil. I mixed the dark pink lunar paste into the white texture paste to lighten it in light pink shades and applied it through the stencil.

Then, I stamped the outlined flowers with leaves in black from the Flower Power #11 stamp set. I stamped one flower in its original form and the other one I joined the last petals on both sides of the flower to show it bigger. I watercolored them using Pink DI and fussy cut both. The sentiments are from the same set. I added some sequins to bling my card.

Fourth card

For this card, I created my own patterned paper. I placed a quilted stencil on a textured white CS panel and applied crushed olive DO. After that, I stamped a floral background into the white space left using rustic wilderness DO and pine needle DI. I tried to create a monochrome look in green. I heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set using opaque bright white EP. I placed my panel on the black CS. Then, I added some twine across the top and black rhinestones to the stencilled flowers.

Final card

I first time tried a scrambled Blocks technique card and loved the results!

It's the perfect way to spread love, and happiness and make someone's day extra special. Enjoy its simplicity and beauty!
I stamped the Background Blocks Scattered Hearts on the pink and red CS and heat embossed them using Wow white puff twinkle embossing glitter. It's hard to take a picture of this card but it has a lot of shine in real life.

Then, I cut them into rectangular blocks and lined them up on my basic white CS. I die-cut a heart and added Abandoned coral ink all around the edges of the heart. I die cut a happy word from a holographic sheet. I attached it to the heart and put my heart in the centre of the blocks. I stamped and added the Valentine's Day sentiment from the Simply Said Blocks Occasions sentiment set using lumberjack Plaid and picked raspberry DI. I embellished it with a few enamel hearts.

I hope you all enjoyed the new release. Hurry up and complete your stash with this new collection before it is out of stock. Check out the rest of the Uniko Brand Ambassador's projects today.
