Hello to all!
Happy Saturday!
Diwali is an important festival for Hindus and it is only a month ahead!
So I am preparing my cards in advance for gifting!
I started with a black color pierced scallop border and here I used only stitched edge one. And by placing Diya die I die cut some of the parts out of it.

On a white card base I did some ink blending using DO, then added some water splatters and some white splatters to thinned white chalk paint for textures.
Now decorate my Diya as shown in the pic and I converted it into a shaker with lots of dimensions. Adhered that edge border along the one side to my white color card base. Added that Diya now with a golden flame. Embellished it with some stones and jewels.
Added the Celebrate sentiment with shadow touch. And finished with it with some stones.

What a gorgeous card, Vinita! The background colours are so luminous. I love the way they echo the curved pattern of the black inset. What an elegant creation celebrating Diwali. Thanks so much for joining us for the HLS October Watercolour Challenge.
