Miniature plants in Hexagon shelves!

Hello, friends!

Last week I was searching Pinterest and came across with some Hexagon shelves. And turning one of the ideas to my Hexagon wall art card! I wanted something that would add texture, warmth and angles with 3D dimensional art pieces. So here it is:

I always looking for new ways to work and this time I tried stamping on acetate sheet!

To stamp the image on acetate I used StazOn Black ink (as it dries quickly and won't rub off) and used the Misti for perfect stamping. Then I colored my image using acrylic pearl colors as they also dry quickly and colored them from back side(as shown in small pot pic)

I fussy cut both the image and with my heat tool start to make my plastic little shrink for textures. It will twist and curl on all directions.... but don't panic!

Die cut lot of hexagons in different sizes out of white, black cardstocks and foam sheets.
Continue glueing and layering like this until your Hexagon shelf is a deep as you would like it to be! I added 3 layers of white foam and 4 layers of white CS and like this, all steps are done for other two.

Now filled my shelves with miniature plants and tiny books using pop dots (books are also handmade using the smallest rectangle die and added every page inside with Tacky tape) added washi tape to bind the cover, Less is more!  Added Sakura Gelly Roll pen in gold along the book side edges. Added a strip of clear scoring tape at the bottom and burnished the steel gray glitter on it!

And here is the finished card, To me, the combination of larger shelf and two smaller looks like a perfect little family on the wall! And stamped the sentiment with a little shadow of grey lines!

Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful creation!
