Hello friends!
This is my first attempt at making a background with Alcohol inks, I planned to play with them from a long time and today I got the chance.
I played on a Neenah solar white glossy CS. Firstly I applied sunshine yellow ink on my card base and blended it properly using my sponge blender. Then I played with various shades of alcohol inks to create the textures at all over the edges. I dabbed some blending solution on my sponge and applied it. Applied this method 3-4 times, till then I was satisfied with the result. I made my own circle stencil. Using masking technique, created the setting sun in the centre.
I sponged a little line to create the ground. Then sprayed some Picket fence splatters. Then I die cut it using my Rectangles die.
I am so pleased with the effect!
For creating the whole scene I used so many different stamps. At the top and both of the sides, I stamped some leaf branches in Cornflower blue ink.
At the bottom, I stamped some Hollyhock flower branches using my distress markers and stamped with my Misti, Then I stamped some mushrooms and wild leaves too.
I used one of Mudra's beautiful silhouette stamp Happy girl in the centre using my Misti in black pigment ink. Misti made my work so easy peasy for the perfect stamping. Then I heat embossed my image with clear embossing powder to really stand her out.
I stamped my sentiment using embossing pad and heat embossed it in bright opaque white. By happy mistake, a drop of sunshine alcohol ink was spread on my sentiment, so I applied it all over the sentiment! And it is looking more perfect to match with my scene!
Then I added some white dots using my white gel pen.
I really like this creation, so different for my all other creations, pleased with the outcome without using any embellishment!
