Watercolor flowers with metallic look

Hello!
Good afternoon!
Welcome back to another inspiration week and this time our host and sponsor is Gayatri Murali !!!
There are some amazing crafters out there with ingenious ideas.  And she is just amazing and very talented, I tell ya! And she gave us a waterolor challenge based on this inspirational photo.

Here is my watercolor creation and I was inspired by soft colors and dimension in her water coloring!

I have used regular watercolored CS. For the first time I have used my new Hero arts Large flower image in gold embossing powder and I think this is perfect for watercoloring! I love Distress inks! I love the way color blend so well and you can create beautiful effect. I love the way it turned out......with metallic look! The butterfly is colored using my gold gel pen. I cut the thinking of you sentiment 4 times and embossed it many times for the perfect shining! And added a little gold glittere washi tape:)
Here is the inside view with my new film strip washi tape and I always try to use the leftover scraps in my creations and I think it fit perfectly with my outer design!

    hi from another fellow traveler in the cardmaking world... i love this card and i dont have a blog but i wud subscribe here if i could do it by email... if you need a hint to who i am please just ask catherine pooler of "stamp nation"what "glow"s email address is..and tell her its ok to give it out..:) ...... but i luv this card and yay! i have the same stamp so i can do the same tech.. please dont worry about me copying.!.     WOW. I LOVE the gold embossing powder idea. It gives this image an entirely different feel and the texture on the watercolor paper is FAB. I need to take that stamp out again.

    I dont know why but google never send my update of each card to each friends who followed me per mail
    I give you a suggestion please each 2/3 days visit my blog sometimes I am so busy made cards but sometimes only one in 3 days hehehe
    Now we are in Croatia
    I sometimes have internet connection sometimes it is drop Vinita
    and yeaaaah I want to tell this card is stunning
    I have the same stamp and never embossed it like you did with gold
