Memories

Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a card quickly. I used Uniko Studio Challenge Anything Goes & the sketch: First time and participated there....
Here is my take on the sketch..........
I am in love with the new Gingham stamp which I recently added in my wish list! So fun to play with! I added the color using Distress Inks. So bright and gorgeous looking and warm feeling too! I stamped the gingham stamp using versamark ink on a snippet of water colored CS. Then sprinkled white opaque powder on it and heat embossed it and Voila done!!
I want to make a CAS design this time, I started with my textured white base CS and scored the lines on both of the sides.  Then I matted my own BG Panel with a pink frame and adhered it to the card base.
The rose is stamped on vellum with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white color, then colored with my Copicmarkers from the backside("The flower was in my stash from two months, finally I able to use it") . Then adhered a doily and distressed it using  my chalk powder kit. I fussy cut the rose and decided it needed a friend too, so I added a  burlap butterfly(which I won in a candy set-Thanks to Jacque). I used foam tape for dimension.
Added a banner by extended it and die cuts my letters out of pink CS, distressed the edges lightly. This time no ribbon or twine is added, so hard to see) and adhered few rhinestones, pearls and Liquid pearl at the center of flower and put some dots to create more texture!

Here is the inside:

  10. Lovely card Vinita - and a great take on the sketch (as well as using snippets of course!)And a bit of information I didn't know about (locations of penguins/polar bears). I'd always thought at least the penguins and bear were both to be found.

Sorry I'm a bit late calling by, not supposed to be peering at laptop really but wanted to just check that the Playground hasn't been overrun by naughty elves!!

    Hugs
