Summer beach vibes!

 Hello to all!

Happy Tuesday!

How about spending some time on the beach in the summer?

Everyone loves the beach, right? When we're not at the beach we're thinking about the beach! At the beach life is different. Time doesn't move from hour to hour. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.

My project is a win category here on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CgttRktBpWP/

https://girlzrebelchallenge.blogspot.com/2022/08/winnaar-en-top-3-challenge-17.html

I played with some alcohol inks on the postage rectangle die panel.

Added some copper gilding flakes for more textures and interest.

Die cut a pair of flip-flops out of a tropical flower transfer sheet and stamped some palm trees with sun and flying birds. Added that panel to the card base with a foiled sentiment.

I hope you all like my project!
Have a great time wherever you are
and enjoy moments of carefree and joy!

Be more amazing than Yesterday!

 Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

A fun-filled mixed media Art Journal page in a trio of colours- Lavender, blue and green!

"Life is all about making yourself better than yesterday!"

You should consider only yourself as your competition. Learning new things every day, and getting wiser, stronger and a better human being is all you should strive for. It's all up to you!

I started with a decoupage napkin, and cut and paste them on all sides according to my need.

And then applied some gelatos shown in the pic.

Added some old newspaper script stamping using archival inks.

Using unicorn dreams texture paste through butterflies and brick stencil gave the page some dimensions and more interest. Love the results!

Then die cut some ornate ovals and doilies. Placed the main featured girl in the centre of the page as shown in the below pic. Added some transfer stickers. Added some flowers.

Some close-ups:

Added some splatters in white with sentiment stickers and butterflies.

Here is the final come out! Hoping you enjoyed the process.

Summer scene!

Hello to all!

Happy Monday!

I needed a masculine birthday card and the theme of the challenge is to follow the fabulous sketch. I went for the summer scene using D.R.S.designs, the sponsor of the challenge!

I started by cutting out all the die-elements.  I stamped the beautiful crane scene image in black archival ink and watercolored the whole scene.

Embossed another die-cut panel by inking the cloud EF, love the pretty details.

Die-cut a circle panel out of the watercolored scene for more interest and matted all the layers on turquoise panels and finally on the main panel.
Die-cut the word celebrate 2 times and added it to the panel.
Added some white dots using a gel pen to the cranes.

Love the end result with all dimensions. I wish you a good end of the day!

Happy crafting!
