Spring Spray featuring Taylored Expressions!

 Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

Are you ready for Spring as I am?

The theme today is Spring at Cut It Up Challenges and sponsored by Taylored Expressions. I absolutely love flowers. Mmmm......one of my favorite things to color and this time I opted for a soft color template!

I began with stamping the flower on a white glossy CS and heat embossed it

Colored it with my ZIG brushes and the image is cut out with a coordinating die.

I die cut a double stitched circle 4 times and heat embossed one of the circles using and made a stack.

Now on my white CS panel, I stencilled some butterflies and circle specimens using DO.

Now die cut some different leaves out of some snippets of silver glitter sheet. Popped up the circle and arranged the spring floral with silver leaves. And a sticker sentiment is added.

Finished it off with some blue splatters and cotton candy stickles.

A close-up view above.

Thanks so much for hanging out with me for a bit today!

Happy crafting!

Butterfly in the field of wildflowers in vintage art journaling style!

 Hello to all!

Happy Thursday!

It was a day of resplendently brilliant sunshine

I walked through gardens full of colorful wildflowers

which in their humbleness opened up and smiled at me

I trod very carefully not to step on them

but being so sturdy they would surely rise up again.

A tiny butterfly with wings of lace fluttered by

pretty butterfly unafraid of me it was just living

enjoying sipping nectar from the tiny wildflowers

blithely flitting along in the balmy light zephyr wind.

I found there is beauty in every story

and learned a lesson not to be afraid of living life

and letting it lead you

it will take you just where you're supposed to be.....

"May your life be like a wildflower, growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day."

- Native American Proverb.

Woohoo! I am a winner here:

https://butterflyspotchallenge.blogspot.com/2022/04/winners-168.html

So here is my attempt at this vintage style card........

I started with a watercolor floral element sheet and applied some liquid watercolors with my brush on the white panel.

In the centre of this panel added a vintage butterfly journalling sticker.

some old newspaper script were added here and there.

I applied a clear gloss texture paste using argyle stencil and quickly spread some diamond dust before drying.

Look at the glaze of shiny gloss accent on my butterfly with diamond dust, love the result!

I added liquid watercolors to my wildflowers and leaves.

Die-cut a stitched rectangle frame from a white Cs and once again from a white foam sheet. And adhered that focal panel to my white card base.
Added a sentiment sheet with a sticker word story on it.

Love the sheen touch of diamond dust to argyle patterns.

Finished it off by adding a wooden butterfly with a silver thread knotted &some wooden beads too, Added a crystal butterfly pin too with some water droplets to enhance the beauty of this nature story!

Hoping you enjoyed the process!
Happy crafting!

Cheerful note with spring florals

Hello friends!

Happy Saturday!

The dry embossed backgrounds can create amazing elegant designs!

I tried to emboss and deboss on the same panel with some decorated flowers!

Do you want to see....... here it is!

I started by flower field embossing folder ( which is discontinued now) on a scrap of the light blue panel.

Rubbed some Picket fence DI directly on the embossing folder before dry embossed the panel. And after embossing mermaid lagoon DO was used to add a bit of additional color to the embossed areas of the design using a foam brush where I wanted.

If you look carefully at the right-hand side panel is debossed and the left-hand side panel is embossed.

Here is a clear pic: Lok the flowers and see the difference, how beautiful it is!!

Now I die cut some tiny flowers and leaves, watercolored them using my ZIG brushes and created some lines to the flower for some textures using a pointed tool.

Die-cut the sentiment Just a note from a scrap of silver glittered and white foam sheet.

Now decorated my panel with these flowers and sentiment along with a stitched scalloped frame and tiny butterflies.

Embellished it with some silver gems.

 Hoping you enjoyed it!

Happy crafting!

Love forever floral with shaker magic!

Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday!

Every woman deserve love, shower her with affection!                                                                                                I am featuring a beautiful Floral Love die with shaker cuteness to spread some love all amongst the women.

Have a look here:

I die cut the floral 2 times, one from gold mirror CS and one from Black CS with negative pieces included. Adhered the gold one on the black one.

Die-cut slimline dotted frames from the gold mirror CS. On my glossy white card base, I adhered a scrap of the gold foil PP and die cut a window panel out of it. Die-cut Love word 2 times from the scrap of black and gold mirror CS. Added the acetate sheet using foam tape.

Filled with shakers. I also added a stamped sentiment label Forever from Mudra.

It's hard to capture the shaker cuteness because of the shadow of gold foiling.

I hope you all enjoying the process!

Happy crafting!

Be Brave!

Hello friends!

Happy Monday!

Sharing a spring floral card for all the strong women in my life whom I treasure!

All the ladies are full of inspiration, encouraging and positive to help and deal with me in my tough time, I am so thankful to all of them! I think pinks and purples represent hope, strength, awareness and fearlessness with a bold & strong sentiment Be brave!

Yayyy! In Top 3!

http://letscreatechallenges.blogspot.com/2022/04/challenge-182-ag-beautiful-butterflies.html

I'm really brightening up the cosmos flowers today...... with purples, tea rose and pinks to help the flowers pop!

I started with a slimline white panel and stamped the cosmos flowers using masking technique and quickly heat embossed them with clear embossing powder for some shine.

I colored them with my ZIG watercolor brushes. I did pull out the ink with a water brush for a watercolor look on all florals.

My background was created by the pinstripe using wilted violet DI to make criss-cross lines randomly as well as some sketchy look.

I added some splatters using white acrylic paint.

I popped up the floral panel onto my orchid card base along with a stitched scallop rectangle.

I Heat embossed the Be brave sentiment in opaque bright white EP, so positive and uplifting. I labelled it with pop up dots amongst the flowers.

What do you think? I love this set!

Happy crafting!

Portrait of a beautiful Women with floral motifs!

 Hello to all!

Happy Saturday!

Celebrating Women's History Month in a special way! Happy International Women's Day to all the incredible and strong women, shine on..... every day!

Today's card is inspired by the faces and flower motives. Silhouettes were highly popular in the Mid 18th Century.

I love the outline of the woman's features so well, swirling hair, wore her hair in a bun style at the back, looser and the fuller at the periphery of her face, look like of the flower petals and matched her portrait with some silhouette blooms.

I started by stencilling on Gelli plate using some DI, DO and got the above impression.

Then I colored her hair using Zigs, outline her face image once again using Memento Luxe ink in blue to define her well. Fussy cut the image.

Then stamped some floral motifs with a beautiful sentiment. And the motif in her bun is clear embossed for some shine and more interest.

Added some splatters and adhered to my focal panel on the earth tone CS.
Hoping you enjoyed the process.

Happy crafting!
