Winter Wonderland Wreath

Hello to all crafty peeps!

Merry Christmas friends! May your hearts and homes be filled with love, happiness and creativity!!!

I am super excited to share my new Winter Wonderland Wreath with you today which I created the first time!
Some of us have really great intentions to make handcrafted decor to adorn our home. So, to help you out, I'm sharing a wreath idea now! Super easy!

I love the blue and silver touch to signify the winter colours.

I can't stop looking at the bottle brush trees which is handmade!
I really love how these foam flowers and garden green leaves complimenting each other.

How I did......

Firstly, I started with a heavy cardboard and cut a big circle and cut it from the centre using my craft knife according to the size of the plastic plate.

Then I wrapped the circle with my yarn which is little shiny and soft.
Continued wrapping the wreath covered with yarn, glued the ends on the back side. At the top too, I covered it with yarn and before covering it I created holes at the top to tie my stone string in between!

I began with my glittered foam flowers. Die cut some snowflakes out of blue glittered foam sheets and embossed it from the plain side using embossing tool.
There is a surprise element.......I die cut a set of 6 petals to create one white foam flower from the part of  Reindeer die.
Then I distressed the edges using distress ink. And I embossed my petals and glued them on a hand cut circle to create the flower, shown in the pic. I made six sets of these flowers.

Isn't it amazing how creatively we can use these little dies !!!!
Let's get started with the plastic plate.
I coloured it with my metallic pearl colours and added different blue glitter dust to create the snow background shown in the pic. Now wrapped the edges with a white yarn and glued it on my circle centre.

Now the fun part begins! Off to create the winter wonderland scene!
I trimmed some shiny white yarn in very small pieces and adhered them at the bottom of the plate using fevicol.  I die cut a cute deer out of polka dotted glitter foam sheet.

This is very easy to create bottle brush trees. Just follow these steps:

a) Start by wrapping yarn around your fingers in different sizes and tie the end. Gently slide the yarn from your fingers and spread out.
b) Cut a piece of wire or you can use toothpick too, according to their heights. And insert in the middle of each yarn pieces.
c) Use your scissors to thread through the loops on each side of the yarn wrap. Cut the loops so that the yarn is fringed on the ends.

d) Trim the yarn in a tree shape. Cut off any excess of wire at the bottom of the tree and placed a stone at the top using glue.
e) Now placed my bottle brush tree on my plate using craft glue. You can create a huge crafty forest display with this easy technique!!!

Now die cut some leaves out of silver coloured glitter foam sheet and glued all the leaves and flowers to create the wreath using my hot glue gun.

In these close-up pics, you can see the diamond glitter dust to create the snow texture on the bottle brush trees.  Die cut a snowman from a white foam sheet and created a designer hat and muffler out of striped glittered foam sheet and adhered it on the snowman. How cute he is looking!!!

Then I added jingle bells string in a silver thread.

I covered the top using yarn and tied a net fabric bow and adhered a jewelled stone in the centre.

At the bottom also I added a string decorated with blings and stone embellishments.

I covered the back too with a paper doily!

Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful wreath!

Here are the supplies I used:

- I used the semi-circle scalloped die for making my foam flowers!

- used cute deer.

Butterfly Fun shaker in winter colors!

Hello, friends!
Happy Wednesday!

I am back again Today with another fun creation! This time I am presenting a cute fun shaker one in soft winter colors!

For this card I used an Itsy Bitsy card Kit where I got shaker elements, pre-cut butterfly panel with  pre-cut adhesive foam panel, transparent film and a white card base. Firstly, I created a colorwash panel on my pre die cut panel using a lot of water. I used black, blue, light and dark green color and keep the look soft. Then splattered some green colour water droplets near to the butterflies. Here is the close up.

Now, I decorated it with two different golden color strings at the bottom and one of the string having sequins in it, Isn't it amazing part to add some texture!
Here is a close up:

Adhered some cute tiny golden color stars and sequins from the kit.
For the sentiment I used clear embossing pad and stamped the sentiment, heat embossed it. You  can see some very tiny splatters in black color using tooth brush and I fussy cut my sentiment and adhered it using pop dots.

I wanted the bigger card panel, so I die cut a white color card base panel. Added a strip of black glittered sheet at the one side. I peeled off the backing paper from one side of the pre-cut adhesive foam and gently pressed it on my card base, so easy and quick.  Filled the  different shaker sprinkles in my butterflies window.

Look at the close up and depth of the adhesive foam!

Now peeled the backing paper off the top cover of the adhesive foam, placed the transparent film on the top to cover my butterflies. Pasted my focal panel gently on top of the foam.

Now, The shaker card is ready. So easy and fun filled!
Hope you all enjoyed my creation!

Supplies used:
Itsy Bitsy Card kit with shaker elements
Black colored glittered sheet; White CS
Dies: Rectangles from Tattered Lace
Stamp: Dream Catcher from Itsy Bitsy
Camlin Watercolors; brushes and tooth brush
Embossing pad and heat gun
Wow embossing powder- Black twinkle

Sparkly winter wonderland!

Hello, friends!
Happy Weekend!
A few days back, I was the part of Rainbow Craftykari as a Guest Designer for my Inspirational post there! So I want to share here today!

I just picked a Neenah Solar white CS, blended it with black soot at the top and partially used pumice stone too. I sprinkled few drops of water and let them dry. Next, I distressed my stencil using ink(some of the portion only) and pressed the stencil upside down. Then Using the same stencil , I applied texture paste to create the snow effect on the Birch trees and created the effect of  partial darkness (was barely visible in the dusk of my BG). I also created some script textures too.

For creating snow hills, I die cut 2 different layers, one from PP and one from white CS using Spellbinder. On white CS I blended some DI and applied texture paste using my palette knife and sprinkled some diamond dust. And I created one more layer to create the bank edge with the same method, but instead of glitter, I sprinkled dust Thermocol balls for more texture.
A close up view:

Die cut some deer out of wooden PP. Die cut the celebrate sentiment out of adhesive glittered sheet. Now adhered all the layers using 3d foam dots on a shimmery purple coloured sheet and matted it on  my card base. Before matting on my card base I adhered a Jute lace for textures.
And for an embellishment, I applied alcohol inks on my Jingle Bells and tied it with a jute twine!

Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful creation!

Enjoy!

Hello, all!

Christmas is almost nearby and I love to make anything related to Christmas festival with so much fun!
So excited to participate in Tracey McNeely's  25 Days of Christmas Tags

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 6

I am casing Natasha Kara gorgeous tag. And I am very much inspired by gorgeous Red Poinsettias and stitched textured in the BG!
And here is my version:

I started by Tim Holtz Framelits Tag in soft grey colour CS. For stitching dimension on it, I used Peek-a-Boo Dual stitched rectangles and die cut the centre part of the tag.

Now I die cut a white CS and using Lawn Fawn Stitched borders are created my BG and adhered the top part on it.

Next, for the poinsettias, I die cut. set of two flowers from poppy stamps in white CS and distressed them using Candid apple ink. There are in the same size, so for the small one, I hand cut them.
I love the big font of Joy, so I choose my word sentiment Enjoy from Serendipity stamps and die cut it out of black CS 3 times to create more dimension and adhered it on my focal point.
Now, time to embellished it, instead of gold stickles, I applied grey coloured glittered sequins to the centres of the flowers and finished it off with a gorgeous deep red stitched ribbon and a twine!
Hope u all enjoyed this creation!

Luckily I would love to support some more challenges too:
