Sunglasses

Hello friends!
Glasses are a serious fashion accessory.  This is true for crafts too.
I have created my own sunglasses embellishment that just adds a coolness factor to this card. I used glossy accents to give the glasses a shine and tint. Very chic!
I just love the cheekiness of this expression for this ever-so-awesome card.  Dig the red cat eyeglasses.  Do you remember the American talk show host Sally Jessy Rafael that used to rock the red glasses?  Classic. I stitched a pleated black satin ribbons and adhered them on my panel.
So here is my DT's creation for http://stampedblessings.com/
 Another view:

Hope u enjoyed it!

Wall Decor Ballerina Dress Layout

Hello everyone!
This is an inspirational post as a DT for Create Something Catchy Challenges!
I am very much inspired by colors, ballerina dress, beauty, dreams to make my LO from this pinspired photo!!! I have made a beautiful décor layout for any little girl's bedroom!
First of all, I made this layered skirt out of nylon stretchable ribbon and maybe it'll inspire you to create your own! So pretty! I cut a 4 equal pieces and used E6000 for pasting. Then double folded it  to create pleats and stitched it properly.

I took a 8"x11.5" cardboard. Tore the random section of the different DP's to adhere for a layout and applied mod podge on it.. Randomly paint the edges using acrylic paints. I added some music stamping, honeycomb stenciling, bubble wrapper effects randomly using white acrylic paint to create some interest.  Then I stenciled the sentiment in two different distress inks and highlighted this beautiful saying with diamond stickles for shinning. Added some stenciling pattern with pigment inks.

Colored the chipboard piece using gelato and acrylic paints with textures.
I attatched a polka dotted top at the bodice chipboard piece, inked the edges using distress ink, this helped it stand out more on the LO.  then added my handmade little flowers at the waist belt, every dress needed a stand of pearls! And attached the back of the bodice to make it look more...Ooh La La!
I painted my frame in white acrylic paint with glitter texture on it and adhered it with pop dots. Added some lace, crochet handmade flowers and distressed it. At the top most corner at the right side I added a pair of shoes stamped on a white CS, colored and fussy cut it, glossy accent it and popped it up! To finished it up I added couple of beaded wire, pearls, butterfly, small flowers and added a border all over the outer edges of this LO!!!
I enjoyed this creation so much!!!

Supplies used:
1mm cardboard sheet
PP from Jags- Beautiful flowers, black colored polka dots sheet from Papermania and another shining one is from my stash

Happy Spring With Easter Bunny!

Hello everyone!
I am here today with Celebration of Happy spring and Easter Goodness ;-)Yes, I've decorated one of the Easter basket with adorable bunnies and flowers in spring colors........I absolutely LOVED doing this. I have a filled Basket with eggs for you:). Christina have chosen a beautiful theme at A Muse Studio challenge: "Easter". Here is what I have created:
I decided to make a basket first. It’s really sturdy!  Here are the steps to create your own basket:
1. I cut a 3'' circle out of a cardboard piece.

2. I took a watercolored paper which is 10.5'' long and 3.2'' wide and at the bottom I scored it at 1/2cm margin equally. then cut those slit. Stamped Zinnia flowers and heat embossed them using wow embossing powder. misted it with water and using distress inks water colored them. Adhered it to my cardboard circle and made a cylindrical shape.

I sponged the grass edges using dye ink and adhered at the bottom first. Then I cut out some octagons in different sizes and adhered the dotted one on the grass border, then at the top too at the edges of basket. Then I added a border die to hold this basket.
Look at those adorable bunnies, so cute! One is holding a celebrate banner and another one is hopping in the basket with Easter eggs. They are hand drawn and fussy cut, distressed and added google eyes and pom pom at the tail to create interest and tied a colorful string ribbon. I used Opulent ovals die partially for the eggs out from golden textured CS. I have created my own faux grass by cutting them into light brown colored thin strips, then running it through the crimper and distressed them in green.

From the backside:

The banner is attached on  skewers and wrapped with double sided Duplex paper from my stash.
I added white metallic effect for interest and decorated it with pom pom lace and embellished it with a wooden butterfly and a girl from my stash.

Well thats from me, hope you like this Easter Set.....as I really enjoyed making this.
Take care & enjoy your day lovelies.

Make a wish!

Hello friends!
Here is my next 3D creation with paper piecing!
I really love the eye catching colors mixed with some watercolor with a gold trend for my BG! This technique is called Faux Glaze water coloring technique!   I am still experimenting with watercolors and I making cards helped me play a little!  The bear for   A Muse Studio  stamp set they provided me:) Yes, she is paper pieced. The pattern papers are from Amuse studio. I started by stamping her in pink patterned paper. Next, I stamped her belly onto a polka dot pattern paper, cut it out, then adhered it directly over the pink paper. I glossy accents her eyes and nose and embellished her with a bow.
I just love paper piecing! It’s such a great way to really customize your stamping to coordinate your projects!

Then I stretched my Just swingin die, embossed it and make to sit my cute bear on this swing. Then I die cut a frame, embossed it and give it a copper look and adhered an acetate sheet for a shaker creation and filled some confetti's and sparkling stars and adhered this piece with my swinging bear with a 3D look!!!
Here is a close up with another angle.

I stamped the sentiment using watermark embossing pad and then applied gold perfect pearl powder with my brush, amazing look!
Then adhered  all the pieces on my card base. At the top I used a DCWV pattern paper from sweet collection. I added a cluster of  punched  glittered balloons and tied two different golden and silver strings and hold them in bear hand . Added a Happy Birthday banner from my stash!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s creation and have fun adding a little paper piecing onto your projects!

Supplies used:

I was here!

Hello friends!
Happy World Women's Day!!!
Behold, my friends, the spring has come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love! — Sitting Bull
Spring Season is the most pleasant season in India. Poets have sung many songs about the beauty of this season. Every object of Nature looks very beautiful. Green plants are there in the fields. The earth looks green with its plants and flowers. Spring is neither hot nor cold. The beauty of spring makes us forget our sorrows. Its music thrills our ears. Its beauty pleases our eyes. Its freshness kills our cares. So spring is my favorite season.
This week’s Amusing Challenge is to use green! So here is my "green" creation. I am so excited as it is my 2nd post as DT and I am feeling so happy to use Modern Zinnia  from  A Muse Studio, as I received the stamp set from  my wonderful friend Chris Franco from A Muse Studio!!!
I stamped some flowers on white CS and heat embossed them. Then misted the panel with water, gave it a subtle effect and distressed the edges. Using border die, I cut that panel.
On the other remaining panel I adhered the border stencil and applied the embossing paste and removed it gently. After drying misted it with lots of water... used gelatos, green dye inks… dabbing between colors to prevent too much of a mess and to keep the colors soft. Then applied candy rock crackle paint and leave it to dry. You can see the beautiful crackle effect and shine in the picture below.  So much fun and so very easy.
Then I stamped more flowers on a colored vellum sheet, heat embossed them and using my octagon die, I created those beautiful flowers.
Then I matted my panel on white textured CS and adhered them to main card base. I popped up my flowers using glue dots and embellished with green micro beads. Then stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it.
Hope you enjoyed my creation!!!
Have a good day!

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop With Love

Hello friends!!!
Wishing All of You A Happy Holi!

Today Holi festival is celebrating all over India!
Holi, is the festival of colours, heralds the beginning of spring and is celebrated all over India.
The celebration begins with a holika bonfire on singing and dancing (a day before Holi) followed by a maverick carnival of colours the next day where people play with or splash colours on each other.
The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring and end of winter. And for many, it is a festive day to play, laugh and meet your loved ones. Holi is also a day to forget and forgive, and repair ruptured relationships. Here are few pictures of Holi.......

Holi Festival Images          Holi Colors Festival

Whooo hooo!!! So, I finally finished my card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and played first time!!  I wanted to keep my card very fresh, bursting with everything spring color with COFFEE and here's my take on the challenge!!!!

Print

To create my card, I started by cutting out the 6 x 6 card base. I create my own background using Cover -a- card Wooden Plank stamp in Faded Jeans distress ink and then sponged it with Vintage photo and darken some lines for more texture using Vintage Photo distress marker.
I matted my dolly on a blue colored scalloped PP and on that I fussy cut a heart from the same PP pad.
I stamped the image twice and paper pieced and colored it with distress marker. Fussy cut it and popped it up on another piece to create dimension! Then I stamped the flames and embossed it with snow marker for the creamy flames(I am so happy to see the result in real, as I used it first time)D.

I created my own small flowers , pollens, a bird topper, crystals, sparkles and a golden thread were adhered to my card.  I used pop-dots to adhere my all elements. I also used a die cut Flower vine and colored it using copic markers and placed them in between my flowers. The word, “With Love” was die-cut 4 times and adhered the layers together with a glue pen so it stood out more, heat embossed in golden, distressed it with faded jeans for texture.
For my butterfly, I die-cut it out of printed vellum and glittered it and highlighted it with my golden pen too!
View of inside: I used the leftover flower die cut for matching outside.

Hope you enjoyed my card creation!
Have a great day filled with joy!!!

I'm here and An Exciting News!!!

Hello friends!!
I'm really excited to be joining the Amuse Studio Team as a Designer, Woohoo!!! I would like to say a BIG Thank You to a fabulous and amazing person Christina Franco from http://stampedblessings.com

I am forever grateful for this wonderful opportunity and feeling honored! Thank you! xxx

I love their sweet and cute stamps. They are perfect to create any kind of cards/ projects which are sure to make you smile.
She is a Creative Consultant with A Muse|Studio and I really enjoy  sharing ideas for using their wonderful stamps, she shipped me overseas:) She has chosen the theme for this week: Glitter, Possibilities are endless!
Here is the stamp set which I received:
 And here is my creation:

For the pretty panel on my card, I chose feather stamp to use  from A Muse|Studio
I created three feathers, two are inked and another one is glittered and fussy cut them. I layered 2 of the feathers with the embellished tag. I over laid the PP tag with Vellum tag to soften it.
The sentiment is from the same set. Lots of enamel dots, some pattern paper, a bit of  silver thread and some texture created with score board to give this card a lot of dimension. Then  I laid it all on my card base. I adore the feathers and  love how this card came out.
Tips:
The feather was inked by loading up sponge daubers from the ink pad ; always start with lightest colors first, then work towards darker, then darkest. I used three different shades of loose glitters using my adhesive sheets.
Here is inside view:

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
Supplies used:
Stamps are from amusestudio Sampler Set Four
Scalloped border from WPlus9
Curved Tags from Nellie's multi frames
Pigment inks-Encore-Teal metallic: Color Box-Frost white; Antic color-Silver and blue
Glitters from Itsy Bitsy-Silver, grey, Turquoise
Enamel dots from WRMemory Keepers

I am sharing this card in some challenges:
