3 D shaped card and something new!!!

Hello to you all!
I am happy to see my first 14 lovely followers. I've decided to try my hand at something new as God gifted me this talent of art. I have uploaded my first digital freebie image as a gift to them. Please remember that this is my original art work . They are for your personal use only and cannot be sold or giveaway, they can however be used in your own creations to sell. Now onto my card

I want to create a unique design. one of a kind 3 D SHAPED CARD. I re-sized my own image I printed it out onto a white ivory CS, then after cutting out all the elements and making the main card up.

The image was coloured with promarkers and the dress is paper pieced. I used a scrap for that. The DP is from Frances Mayer co.

The image also feature hand cut muffler, Pockets and designers shoes made from textured dark blue felt. I heat embossed the edges using Versa superfine silver glittery embossing powder.

I highlighted her pretty hair with a sparkly Sakura glittery pen.

As, she is walking in a spring garden, I added a die cut butterfly fluttering around her hands.

I placed a blue flower embroided fabric lace bow on the left hand side of the front of the card. And I also sponged the entire white space using light blue chalk.

I bling it up her with a beautiful handmade flower made with paper napkin and turquoise blue net , attached onto a blue ribbon flower and placed in her pretty hair. I also added some pearls , punched daisy flowers, buttons,brads.

For the inside, I used a wonderful free sentiment from a piece of heart blog.

This is a beautiful design for any teenager, young lady or a kid. It was very easy to cut and colour up and is stunning when done! This card is suitable for all occasions!

For a Special lady

Hi Everyone!
It has been another glorious weekend here. This time I tried to make a vintage shabby look card. I used cream coloured CS, black CS and a vintage designer paper from my stash.

I used a Wrinkle-Free Distress Technique. Here are the steps:
1. I swiped the red, green food colours and scattered straw distress ink on a tile.
2. Misted the inks with water until small beads were formed.
3. Laid the White CS into the water ink to soak up the colours. Took paper out of the ink. I used heat tool to dry the paper. The paper may curl, but when dried will flatten out.
4. Added more colour to the paper by placing CS on the ink again. Dried the paper once again with the heat tool. Then I used the paper to make my card.

I then used the fairy image from Hot of The Press-1120 (fairy stamp set) using Versa black ink. and added some swirls also from this stamp set. Layered it on black CS and ripped the edges. I again used the same technique on DP, doily and Itsy Bitsy Fancy assorted die cut. The sentiment is from the same set. This time I used a black fabric bow with a metal buckle and glued it with fabric glue.

My shabby flowers are punched using Jef (6 petal flowers set) punches. I used the same technique for colouring and then distressed the edges with scattered straw distress ink.

I knotted a brown organza polka dot ribbon (new in my stash) and attached a vintage button to it. The butterfly is a die cut (from Sizzix & Hero Arts stamp set) and was stamped with black ink, colored with promarkers and golden Sakura Glitter pen.

Bundle of joy

Hello!
Every baby is special.......and deserves a lovely handmade card for the parents to cherish. I decided to create a little outdoor scene using Wonderful Hilde Freebie image at Crafting with Dragonflies Challenge. There is a Blog Hop too!

This cute card shows a tiny clothes line with baby clothes, complete with tiny pegs. I gave the clothesline some style! This is displayed on a cream color textured base CS. I used a pink thread for the clothesline. I used Promarkers, Sakura glitter pens and white gel pen to color the tiny clothes and fussy cut them. I adhered all the pieces together and attached to the corrugated purple shiny sheet (with faux stitching on it) and popped them up and tied the bows on both the ends.

Everything else was done free hand at the background to create a cute scene. I used my purple gingham paper to give it a soft look. The sentiment is a Rub On Transfer ,Birthday from Kaiser scrapbook (new in my stash) . I embellished my card using gems, pearls, buttons, some punched flowers, crystal flowers, lace, a satin ribbon bow with a baby charm attached, adhesive fabric ribbon (new) and handmade net flowers. I added 3 D fevicryl glitter out liner to the net flowers.

Through the window

Hello crafters!
The design has been in my head for a while and I held off making it until this week because it just so happens to fit in perfectly with most of the challenges. I wanted the card to look like a balcony and window with a flower bloom and a climber and added other elements for added dimension and interest.

My base is a texture cream colored CS. I made a brick wall texture by tearing out those brown pieces shown in the picture and distress ink it with Scattered Straw.

I used a pink designer sheet from my stash and made a border using Jef border punch and curtains behind the window. Then I Used Prima Hello Pastel stamp set (new in my collection) for the background at the top using Versa green ink and promarkers. I used Jef Tile punch to make this window using white foam sheet. I added an awning to the window. I used Jef cutter trimmer to cut one end of the awning. I folded that into shape as shown in the picture.

I again used this cute image bunny with a girl (spring pick from Whimsy stamp). She is so cute I love her!!! I coloured her with my promarkers and highlighted her with Sakura gel pen and also add few gems and pearls in her hair. Then I made a balcony using Jef border punch again and attached the balcony to the card base with mounting tape. I filled the balcony edge with several kind of flowers using Jef punches, grass and a butterfly in the balcony. Then I fussy cut out the image so I could use it as an arrangement on the window sill shown in the picture. Here is a closer look:

I recently won this climber with Thanks sentiment on a challenge sponsored by bugaboo and I think it is perfect for this project. I colored it with pro markers and the sentiment is highlighted with green sakura gel pen and fussy cut out it and assemble it near the brick wall. At the other side also a swirl attached using intricutz die cut from Couture creation Venetta. I added bling on the card using a bow, gems, pearls, decorative flowers to the scene for the finishing touch.

The lady you are seeing is hand drawn which I fussy cut and then colored it with pro markers. The sentiment is stamped with Versa black color on a scalloped oval die cut and highlighted with Sakura gel pen and sponged with Opera pink colour. The flower bed is stamped with Versa brown ink and pink pro markers from We R Memory keepers Family set (new in my collection).

Sending my Love

Hello Crafters!
Today's card is inspired by KittieKraft's work. Here is the take on the card......

My card features the sweet little bird from love bird set, We R Memory Keepers. I colored it with pro markers, cutout and popped up with foam dots in front of the fence to add dimension. I die cut the fence from couture creation using texture red CS. All the tiny flowers, grass, leaves and clouds are hand drawn. I used Versa Pigment ink to color them all.

I attached the fence and tree to White Ivory CS and added paper piecing of colored tiny flowers to give the touch of spring. I popped up the clouds behind the tree limbs to add dimension. I added sprigs of foliage to the ground area and more colourful spring flowers.

I just stamped one of the sentiment from Thinking of you set, Kaisercraft (new in my collection) and popped it up also and distressed the edge with tumbled glass distress ink. I added a cute pink ribbon with a perky little bow along to the fence. My card is finished off with some blings, pearl, a Jef punched butterfly and a cute yellow button.
